"You must be Xyrus. I'm expecting your arrival at 1 minute, 42 seconds and 122 milliseconds soon after Aether's death. Welcome to my domain, Chosen One." Kaley, who was sitting on a chair said without even looking at Xyrus behind her.
"Wow. That's awesome. Though, I also did that when I was using the time stone." Xyrus felt that it wasn't that much hard to predict someone's arrival at the exact time and exact place.
"In Prime Time." Kaley continued which deleting the the smile on Xyrus's face.
"You know, I kept hearing about this Prime Years, Prime Time or something. I asked Aether about this and he mentioned that you'd be the best one to explain to me on what it is." Xyrus said to her.
Kaley suddenly disappeared from her place and appeared in front of Xyrus.
"Aether is right, I am indeed the best one to explain to you what Prime Time is." Kaley said before snapping her fingers and Xyrus found himself sitting on a chair and right in front of him is Kaley, who was also sitting on a chair and right in the middle of them is a small table with tea pot and tea cups sitting on the table.
From the looks of it, it looks like the both of them were having a small tea party.
"Let me explain the basics first." Kaley said before drinking tea from the tea cup and continued.
"As you have learned from Aether, Void is the evolution of the higher aspect of space, am I right?" Kaley asked for confirmation.
Seeing Xyrus nodding his head, Kaley continued.
"Similarly, Prime Time is the higher aspect of Time. You get it? It means that Prime Time has things that the Time don't have like the entire Multiverse is based on Prime Time or the Primordial Gods like us aged using the Prime Time. If you still can't understand then Prime Time is simply made for higher beings like us, Primordial Gods. The origin of Prime Time is the same as the Void." Kaley said which made Xyrus finally understand what Prime Time truly is.
"So, it is basically the Time of the entire Multiverse itself? While the Time is only artificially made for mortals, right?" Xyrus said according to his understanding.
"You're right. I made the Time as the Prime Time isn't suitable to mortals in universes. So, even if you have the power to manipulate time and such, then it can only affect those who are affected by Time but if you tried it to someone like me? It's like a child playing with air." Kaley said making Xyrus nod his head in understanding.
"Then, am I learning the Prime Time?"
"Actually no. I mean, not yet. We'll do the same as how Aether trained you. You'll have to master your own time first before mastering the Prime Time. Luckily, I could fully manipulate the Prime Time in my territory, so we could train for about 1,000 years while only affecting the outside world in a second." Kaley said before snapping her fingers.
"You could have done that during my training with Aether, you know?"
"I know, but I can't interfere with his territory, even if I used my full strength." Kaley shrugged her shoulders as she said that.
"Alright then. So, how do we start?" Xyrus cracked his neck and fingers as he warmed up.
"Looks like Aether trained you well. Just to remind you, you can't use your Void here as it is my territory. So, it's like you're back in zero." Kaley said and before Xyrus could react, Kaley already snapped her fingers and his surroundings changed to a beautiful green scenery.
Right in front of him is a very familiar person to him.
"Yahweh?" Xyrus's eyes widened in surprise.
"Don't be too surprised and don't get your hopes high, he is nothing but a contruct that I made according to your memories. So, he's a fake." Xyrus's previous expression suddenly saddened, he could even hear Kaley chuckling to herself.
"This is called the Time Loop and all you have to do is to break it. Simple as that." Kaley waved her hands around.
"This would be easy if I have my Time Stone." Xyrus muttered as he watched Yahweh fly high in the sky and conjured a light spear and threw it to him.
"I remember jumping to the side here." Xyrus tried to side step but then realized that he's a soul instead of his physical form, so instead of dodging it like he expected, the light spear flew as fast as a light and stabbed him on his abdomen.
*Splash!*
"Agh!" Xyrus felt pain to his soul before disappearing.
Confused, Xyrus looked up and saw that Yahweh was back to his position and was about to throw another light spear at him.
Xyrus tried to dodge again but the light spear always reached him before he could react.
This happened for over a few years before Xyrus finally managed to decipher the secret of the time loop.
Over the course of these last few years, Xyrus has tried everything he got in order to get out of the loop like trying to fight Yahweh but failed, digged a hole on the ground to hide himself and even tried to make amends with Yahweh to see if he would stop.
However, all of this and nothing happened.
But thanks to it, Xyrus finally learned that inside a time loop, there is a main point that could destroy the entire loop once and for all.
According to what Xyrus knows, a loop is the constant repeatance of a certain thing or being infinitely.
And now, that main key point to break it is to find the main point and make sure it won't repeat what it did.
Xyrus is exempted to this as he didn't repeat what he normally did.
That only left to one being and that is Yahweh. Earlier, Xyrus never managed to touch even the small fabric of his cloth, so Yahweh is in constant repeat of throwing the light spear to him.
As soon as the loop starts once again, Xyrus immediately tried to find ways to disrupt Yahweh's rhythm of repeat.
Xyrus failed so many times until he finally discovered that maybe moving atleast a piece of his cloth should be enough, so the moment the loop repeats again, Xyrus immediately kicked the small pebble in front of him and watched as it glides in the air until it finally hit the small part of Yahweh's cloth.
