Ch. 118

Xyrus has long known that a 6 year old child has high talents in magic like Merlin, which is why he assigned a Sorcerer to keep watch on her in case something bad happens to her.

So, when he received the report of what happened in her household, Xyrus knew something was wrong as a child no older than a 6 years old can't just casually kill 2 mens in cold blood.

It's like someone possessed her and used her body.

Xyrus already has his guesses, especially when the Sorcerer said that Wanda used this red glowing light on her hands to kill her enemy.

According to Stephen Strange's analysis about The Scarlet Witch, she uses Chaos Magic which is in the form of a red glowing thing on her hands.

Xyrus has guesses inside his heart, and one of the most plausible guess that he had is that, the Scarlet Witch travelled between universes using her soul.

However, if she could do that, then why possessed a innocent little girl?

This is where his most plausible guess comes in, where The Scarlet Witch used a spell from the Darkhold that could place her soul or maybe her conciousness to her alternate self in another universe.

"Keep an eye on her. Tell me immediately if she comes in contact with Strange and Chavez." He instructed to the Sorcerer in charge of watching her.

The Sorcerer nodded and opened a portal that leads to where the last trace of Wanda was found.

As for Xyrus? He disappears in his position and appeared in a small restaurant where Strange and Chavez was dining in while looking around cautiously.

"Good morning." Xyrus casually greets them.

"Bahh!" Strange suddenly shouted in shock as when he realized that it was just Xyrus, he gathered his composure and relaxed.

While Chavez was also shock but not as intense as Strange's shock.

"Don't shock me like that." Strange said.

"I just greeted you."

"I know that. Anyways, what are you doing here? Are you here to bring us back to your Sanctum?" Strange asked h cautiously as he prepared for another fight.

Xyrus obviously saw this gesture and chuckled before speaking.

"I'm not here to bring you back nor to fight. I'm just here to tell you that the Scarlet Witch has arrived." Xyrus dropped a bomb to them, as Strange immediately stand up and grabbed America's arm.

"We gotta go. We're not safe here, use your powers to bring us in another universe!" Strange shook her as he tried to force her to open a gateway to another universe.

"Ow! You're hurting me!"

"That's not a proper way to handle a child, Stephen Strange." Xyrus gripped Strange's arm which forced him to let go of Chavez.

"Let me handle the Scarlet Witch and also Ms. America here, if you want after this matter is taken care of, I could bring you back to your universe." Xyrus calmly said, as Strange glared at him.

"You don't know what the Scarlet Witch is capable of!" Strange said as he got close to Xyrus and pointed his finger at him.

Xyrus looked at the finger that Strange used to point at him, and when Strange saw this, he seems to remember something.

"Shit." However, it was too late for Strange to retract his pointed finger and Xyrus suddenly grabs his hand and pulled Strange towards him and used his other hand to slam Strange out of his physical body.

Realizing his current situation, Strange can't help but curse while at the same time, smiled as he remembers the first time he met with the Ancient One in his universe.

Soon, he was brought back to his body as Xyrus stares at him.

"Don't point your finger at me again, or I'll leave your astral form in the astral world and I guess you know what will happen if your stay there for more than the time limit, right?" This time, Strange was now sure that the Ancient One in front of him is more cruel than the Ancient One in his universe.

"...Fine, I understand. But I will still stay with her in case something happens." With a slight hesitation, Dr. Strange finally gave in but still stated the last sentence.

"That, I can agree." Xyrus nodded with a smile and his smile soon twitched.

"It looks like our dear witch found us." The moment his words fell, fear spread on America's face as she immediately hid behind Xyrus and looked outside the entrance of the restaurant.

"Let's not fight here." Seeing the Scarlet Witch flying down with on the ground while people around just gave her a glance before going back to their daily lives. They've seen countless beings flying around ever since the Supernatural revealed itself and what Wanda did was now a common thing to them.

The Scarlet Witch disappeared along with Xyrus, America and Dr. Strange.

Meanwhile, inside the mirror dimension, everything was still the same as usual however, the people around them can't see them anymore and just passed by them as if they were ghosts.

"Welcome to my universe, Scarlet Witch." Xyrus calmly greeted her.

"Give the child to me and there will be no bloodshed." The Scarlet Witch didn't bother his warm welcome and directly asked for America Chavez.

"I'm afraid I cannot do that, Ms. Maximoff." Xyrus smiled calmly and said.

".....Fine." After a moment of silence, Wanda finally spoke and her hands were directly covered in red streams of lights.

*Boom!*

With a sway of her hand, a red bolt of energy rushed forward to Xyrus who was still calm despite the situation.

He just raised his palm and closed his fist. The rushing ball of chaos energy immediately halts into its place.

With a bit of movement of Xyrus's fingers, the ball of chaos energy bounces back to Wanda who dodges the energy, exploding the vicinity behind her.

So, she immediately raised both of her hands, and as if she was struggling, the whole building where the trio stays on, was lifted on the ground and slowly turned upside down.

*Boom!*

The whole building was then dropped on the ground, destroying itself.

*Clap* x3

"What an incredible power. As expected from someone like you." Claps were heard behind Wanda and when she turns to look, she saw Xyrus, Chavez and Strange behind her without a single scratch.

Seeing this, Dr. Strange got his confidence back and said to Xyrus.

"Let me handle this." Dr. Strange stepped forward and conjured Tao Mandalas on both of his hands.

"You can't defeat me." Wanda said confusedly.

"Yes but, only Magic can defeat Magic." Dr. Strange confidently said as if what he just said is something wise and profound.

"What magic?" Wanda asked.

Dr. Strange was confused until he realized that the Tao Mandalas on his hands disappeared and when he tried to make it appear again, it doesn't show up. He even tried to use other magic spells he knew but none of them were coming up.

Realizing that he can't use magic anymore, courtesy of Wanda, he embarrassedly walked behind Xyrus and hid.
