first love...

In the village, everything was just not normal, Language was a very big problem, so she never bothered communicating with anyone. she was just on her own unless her siblings came around for one thing or another.

one night as usual she was just on her own watching TV although not really on her own because almost all her extended family were there watching too. she stepped out to drink water, but after drinking... she heard "what's that stain on ur clothe Diana? " she turned, it was mum, she was with Charlie her immediate elder brother and Ugochukwu. she thought within herself what had happened to her very precious white skirt, she silently prayed in her mind that it should just be her top and not her skirt, but before she could finish wishing..... where did you sit? Charlie asked looking at her with disgust. she wondered what would have happened to her precious skirt, her mum pulled her close and hugged her asking Charlie to leave. Charlie left smiling making her wonder what type of stain it was on her precious white skirt. Hmmmm oh God Pls I love this skirt she said to herself.

You are now a woman " mum said to her

from now, u can become pregnant " do not allow any man to touch u"

Diana couldn't bear all that, she pulled herself from the embrace and quickly turned her skirt to see what all these talk is all about, she saw blood!!!!

Before she could think of what it is, Ugochukwu already brought a new red pant and started attaching pad to it....

she knew it was for her... oh, just like I bought my first bra myself I really wish I experienced this alone myself, she said to herself.

Remove ur skirt, change ur pant to this and wash the ones you just removed, u shouldnt be dirty, you are now an adult Ugochukwu said to her. Diana wasn't happy with those lectures, but she had no option, she did as asked quietly and went back to the sitting room to continue her movie.

The next day was the burial, many people were present, she have never been in a place with such a crowd. she was shy, and not comfortable . she wanted to go inside and sleep. but before she could succeed with that.....

A young, tall, dark eyes guy with white teeth shining in d dark came to her, she felt cold run through her, from head to toe within a second. he wanted to have a talk with her, maybe it is because it is her first time or maybe because.... I don't kw..... she wanted to stay, but she couldn't, she asked him to let her go.... he asked for her phone number but.... she couldn't say she don't have one, she couldnt say dad will not permit her to have one till she is through with her secondary school, she just couldn't stay, she left, leaving and wishing this dark angel will force her to stay, but he didnt, he just watched her slip her hand away from him as she quickly rushed inside as if she wished to run. That night she couldn't sleep. she regretted her actions. she wished she stayed. she wished she allowed him say what she knew he wanted to tell her..... I LOVE YOU.... She wished she waited to hear that. she wished she hugged him, she wished she kissed him!!!

Diana!!!! mum called from the kitchen. 'cant you see your mates are sweeping the compound? can't u see people are busy out here? what are you still doing sleeping by 7am in d morning??? " mum, I slept late.... who slept early? she asked?

maybe it's because she feels she is now a woman " Ugochukwu teased.

Diana got really angry and worked like she have never done before just to prove Ugochukwu wrong.

Two days later, Diana was washing with mum outside the house when she saw two young guys pass... she remembered everything clearly from the funeral night..... This is Moses, the guy that gave me sleepless nights, this is the guy, the guy i wished I kissed.. oh, he is here, but mum is also here, how do I tell him to come back later, how do I tell him to arrange for us to see somewhere else???

"This is the guy that Ugochukwu dated when she was in the village, the guy that helped her when she was suffering from what our aunts, uncle and grandma did to her. Charlie said to Diana

Diana was still trying not to believe him when she saw people holding back her dad, Dad wanted to kill the boy, the small boy that was fucking his daughter!!! (sorry for using the word)

they were holding him, Kevin " he called the guy, hmmmmmm, Diana felt very relieved thank God it's not Moses, thank God it's not my dark angel. oh I almost fainted to think that Moses slept with my elder sister and I already fell for him, oh. .... but why are they friends?????

Kelvin and Moses left immediately because dad was really serious about wanting to kill him.

Diana for the first time since she came to the village decides to run any errands that will take her out of the house... she was on the look for her Moses, day after day, she looks at every guy and wished to see this Moses one more time..... even if it's just to see his face, I will not let him ask, I will just say yes!!!!

please just let me see you again Moses and I don't care how much I will suffer, I'm ready to stay in the village Because of you Moses. To suffer just for you!!
