1 introduction

Diana is born in a family of five children, three girls and two boys. she is the second girl and third child. Her family was not that a rich family but they were able to live well because dad was providing and mum was very hardworking. They were brought up in a Christian way and having a police as father, they had no option than to grow up with good upbringing.

she live a life knowing how to avoid bad things and do good.... for herself, for dad, and for God. because she was taught that each has its implications. one of the good was to help people and the bad.... she just can't count, she just know that one should not do them.

she don't have friends not because she don't like friends but because each time she takes time to enjoy friendship with someone, dad gets a transfer and since he don't want mum to train the kids alone, they will all relocate leaving her friends alone and starting over. it hurts each time it happens but most times she just can't do anything about it. As a Nigerian average kid, her parents.. Dad did all the thinking, every decision is made by him, they just follow or be punished by him. one of those occasions was when saw her elder sister Ugochukwu talking to a guy, he got angry and sent her to stay in d village with his sister..aunt Rabi. None of the children know if that is a good thing to run away from his strictness or wickedness as they called it. but whatever it is they prefare staying with him because they are afraid of the unknown. Dad always told the kids how bad village people can be. none of them wanted to have a taste of d bad villagers of theirs so they just play good as much as they can.

one of the bad things Diana tried to avoid then was having anything to do with boys, even though it doesn't take time before she started crushing on someone. she always have one person or two she crushed on at any particular time. maybe her teacher, class mate or even just someone passing. she loves fair guys, tall, blablabal.

when she was in junior secondary school, before she started seeing her period, she'll always hear her classmates saying things about it, she so much wished hers would come soon. shd yearned for it. but it never came until she wrote her junior WAEC.

That year, her father asked the kids to prepare that they were going home for great grandmas funeral. Diana wasn't really happy about it because when Ugochukwu her elder sister came back after staying three years in d village she told her bad stories that she don't really like about d village. ugochukwu told her about bad uncles and aunts in d village. so she was very reluctant about going home.
