Vahn was an atypical youth. Due to a rare mutation, his blood had the potential to target and attack ailments within the human body. Touted as a universal cure, people had elevated his status above the norm and given him the classification "Panacea". In the media, he was hailed as a great hero who would usher in a new era or human wellness. However, behind the scenes things weren't so bright. Being a unique individual, Vahn spent his entire youth locked up in a lab with various scientists and research teams using his body and blood to perform endless amounts of experiments. The only solace in his suffering was the various anime and manga made available to him between experiments. He often imagined himself as the protagonist in a world of his own, finally in control of his own destiny. For years he nurtured this desire, until at the age of 14 he died when an organization had tried to kidnap him from the lab... "Finally, I don't have to suffer anymore..." This was Vahn's last thought as he faded into the endless black abyss... "You poor soul." Another diamond no ace or ace of diamond fanfic. I’d say that first of all my review is bias. I’ve read two of the authors previous fanfics based on the same story. 1. The writing quality is quite good, you rarely see mistakes from the author. And if you do it’s never a mistake that will bring you out if the story. 2. Updating stability, the author has been very stable in his release for this ff. To be fair it’s hard to rate this as updating stability can change over time. 3. Story development, the author has definitely added his own charm to the story as well as is focused on the Mc. While many fanfic regarding Diamond no ace end up being a servant to sawamura or furuya. Or they completely disregard the two. Currently the author is focused on his mc. And this is something I like. It would be nice for the MC to suddenly be surprised by sawamura in the future. 4 character design, while he didn’t design most of the characters he has made full use of the known cast. I think over all in this subject he’s done a great job. As well as the Mc being quite interesting. 5. Works background, he’s done a good job so far. One note is when the scene changes he rarely ever describes the scene. While not necessary it can add a bit to each scene or our mental image. (Notice the last is mostly for non baseball scenes, while baseball scenes are typically described adequately) you could of course add information on shifting formations moving forwards back left or right but I feel most readers especially if they don’t know baseball may get confused if you do add it. I guess this suggestion is mostly for if you play a team that focuses on tactics, small ball ect.
