chapter 12 rescuing Bakugo

Bakugo was being sucked into the sludge villain. He created explosive blasts to try and escape, but this only made the situation worse. No hero was able to get close. When Izuku and I saw him, we immediately started running straight towards the villain.

As we ran, the sludge villain noticed us and lashed out with several tentacles, each one whipping through the air with menacing speed. We dodged nimbly, our training paying off in the crucial moment. Even Izuku, who often doubted his physical abilities, was able to evade the attacks with surprising agility. I threw my backpack at the villain's eye, and it landed perfectly, causing the sludge to loosen its grip on Bakugo.

Seizing the opportunity, I made eye contact with Izuku, who immediately understood. Before the villain could regain his composure, I hurled small, sharp rocks at his other eye. The sludge monster roared in pain, its form wavering. "Izuku, grab Bakugo now!" I shouted.

Without hesitation, Izuku darted forward, grabbed Bakugo by the arm, and began to pull him away. "What are you doing, Junpei?" Bakugo yelled, his voice a mix of anger and confusion.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of this villain," I replied, my voice steady despite the adrenaline coursing through me.

"But physical damage barely does anything to him!" Izuku protested, looking back over his shoulder.

"Don't worry, I've got a big move planned," I said, my confidence unwavering.

Once Izuku and Bakugo heard that, they didn't hesitate and started running towards the crowd. "EVERYONE, COVER YOUR EARS!" I screamed. The crowd was confused but followed his instructions. The heroes, who had been freaked out by our charge towards the villain, were relieved when they saw Bakugo was free. They started running towards me, shouting, "Kid, run!"

But I wasn't listening to them. As the villain regained his composure, he was furious and lunged at me with renewed vigor. His monstrous form loomed over me, tentacles poised to strike. I stood my ground, focusing all my energy on the impending attack.

The villain's tentacles whipped towards me, but I evaded them with calculated precision. I could feel the ground tremble with each of his movements, the sheer power of his quirk evident in every attack. As he closed in, I took a deep breath, centering myself.

Just as the villain was about to envelop me in his sludge-like body, I unleashed my telekinesis, holding him in place mid-air. He struggled, his form writhing against the invisible force, but I held firm. "You picked the wrong day to mess with us," I muttered under my breath.

With the villain immobilized, I glanced over at Izuku and Bakugo, who had safely reached the crowd. Izuku's face was a mix of fear and awe, while Bakugo looked furious but also impressed. "Don't worry," I called out to them, "I've got this."

Turning my attention back to the villain, I knew I had to act quickly.

The villain, still held aloft by my telekinesis, began to thrash more violently. I could feel the strain of holding him, but I pushed through the pain. "It's time to end this," I said, steeling myself for what was to come.

Drawing on all my strength, I used 60% of my power to clap my hands together as hard as I could. The resulting shockwave was immense, sending a powerful blast of air and sound rippling through the area. The shockwave destroyed the rubble around us, cracked all the nearby windows, and sent the heroes flying back. The force of the clap was so intense that the crowd had to brace themselves, some even falling to the ground from the sheer impact.

The villain, being so close to the epicenter of the attack, was hit the hardest. The sound was deafening, and the shockwave passed through his sludge-like body, disrupting his form. The pain and disorientation were too much for him to bear, and he passed out from the sheer volume.

The heroes, recovering their hearing, approached cautiously, still shocked by what had just happened. "Are you okay, kid?" one of them asked, but I was already focusing on ensuring Bakugo and Izuku were safe.

Looking at their relieved faces, I knew we had managed to turn the tide. "Yeah," I replied, my voice calm despite the chaos around us. "We're okay."

After being scolded by the police and held for a little while longer, Izuku and I finally walked out of the station. "IZUKU!" someone screamed. We turned around to see Bakugo storming toward us. "Don't think that you saving me changes anything. You're still a pathetic loser," he spat, tears still glistening in his eyes. Then he turned and left.

"Well, I'm glad to see that near-death experience didn't change him," I said sarcastically. "I've got to pick up my little sister. This whole incident delayed me a lot. I hope she doesn't get mad." With a hint of fear in my voice, I teleported out of the scene.

This is it if all might doesn't acknowledge him. And make him his successor then I will have to deal with the ending by myself "BIG BROTHER!" I heard a little girl scream. "Where have you been? I've been waiting for you for hours."

"I'm so sorry. There was a big incident, and I couldn't come back in time," I explained.

"That's no excuse. I won't forgive you," June pouted, crossing her arms.

"Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?" I asked, hoping to soften her anger.

June smirked mischievously. "Let me sleep with Holly for the next week."

I sighed but agreed. Holly, my dog, usually slept with me, and June had always been jealous. "Alright then."

"Yay!" she cheered, jumping up and down before hugging me tightly. "Alright, we need to leave," I said, teleporting us back home.

As soon as we arrived, Mom was furious. "Where have you been?"

"Wait, wait, let me explain," I pleaded, recounting the entire incident.

"So you defeated a villain before even entering U.A.? That's incredible, son!" Mom said, her anger quickly turning to pride.

Unlike normal families who might freak out over something like this, my family, being heroes themselves, saw it as something to be proud of. When Dad came back from work and heard about the incident, we even held a little party in celebration.

In the end, the day was full of surprises and challenges, but it ended on a high note with my family's unwavering support and pride.

I wanted to share something with you all. There's another MHA fanfiction I want to work on, and it's a similar situation to this one. The name of the fanfiction is *As Buddha in MHA* by RubberPeen. It's an incredible story with 25 chapters, but it hasn’t been updated for an entire year, so I'm pretty sure it's been dropped. I sent a message asking for permission to continue writing it. If I don’t hear back, I'll post a similar message to the one I put in Chapter 1 of this fanfiction so you all know where it originated from.

There's something important to note: the main character will be born 10 years before the main cast of *My Hero Academia*. This means the story will cover both *MHA: Vigilantes* and *My Hero Academia*. However, I won't be releasing it anytime soon because I need to read through *MHA: Vigilantes* first.
