Devil's Little Guardian

"So, are you ready to obey my orders?" His deep ocean voice fanned against her slightly twitched earlobe. "Y-yes, master." "Break a rule, you will be facing the same punishment as that douche." He smirked pointing at the cell which was completely dark and covered with magical dusts. Kristen choked out hearing the painful cries from the cell. That man had been suffering the same pain since the past two hundred years. He will suffer until some one replaces her master, the Devil himself.

TOGETHER? WHY?

Christian woke up when the time was around twelve in the noon, his head almost breaking into pieces and he had to wait for a couple of minutes to even open his eyes. He groaned, massaging his temples, staring at the ceiling for a while. He couldn't even remember where he was as everything around him was rotating, darkness engulfing his eyes.

"Aghh, how much did I even drink?" He asked himself while hitting his head nonstop.

After what felt like a lifetime, he managed to drag himself to the washroom, he completely forgot about the girl who accompanied him because usually, it was just him. He freshened and stepped out of the room to find his shirt that was thrown into a corner. He lazily picked it up and wore it, when something tackled his hair.

"What the heck?" He cursed as the thing was pulling his hair as he tried to get a hold of it.

After some real struggle, he managed to pull it off, losing two of his hair along with it. His eyes widened once he realized what it was, Kristen's bracelet. He screamed, hitting his head on the soft mattress as if he was planning to die. Christian is way too dramatic and he was actually proud of it saying that makes him different from others. He hurriedly wore his shirt and ran out, trying to figure out which room could be hers.

"How drunk was I to not even remember this?" He stood there confused for a while, scratching his head.

"IDIOT."

A sudden hit landed on his head and he almost fell on the floor, holding his head. Kristen stood there, her eyes filled with so much anger that she was waiting for him to step out of the room. Christian knew who it was so he just stayed down, trying to find a good excuse to escape. It surely was his mistake but agreeing it would only worsen the situation and add fuel to her fire.

"Don't even think of bringing an excuse." She warned.

"S-sorry." He mumbled, guilt eating him.

"Get up and take us back. It is Sunday and we have to reach the carnival." She reminded him.

"Oh, yea y-yea. I remember, that is why I got ready to leave." He tried negotiating.

"You are really in the dress from yesterday and didn't even shower." She gave him a questionable look.

"I still am ready. Do I look bad?' He asked to which she shook her head.

"You look unpresentable, too bad to even call it bad." She rolled her eyes before walking downstairs.

"That is too rude." He complained while running behind her to catch the pace.

"Hey, let's go?" Lucifer asked as he leaned against his car in front of the hotel.

"Uhh? You didn't leave?" She asked confused, walking out to him.

"We are going to the same place, so why not go together?" He asked to which she shook her head.

"I am with a friend, didn't I tell you?" Kristen asked.

"So? Even, I am with a friend and I don't see a problem in that."

Lucifer had changed his outfit and was now in a three-piece bad suit, a leather belt, and an expensive pair of Chelsea boots. His hair was combed perfectly and it looked like he was going to attend a meeting. Kristen had to curse herself to not drool over the man, her eyes boring holes in him.

"Krist....." The boy ran out after settling the bill to the girl talking to another man.

Kristen turned back and gave him a deadly eye for calling her real name. Lucifer looked at the other man, a little confused not knowing what he was about to say.

"Christian, that's my name, and nice to meet you, haha." He quickly spat a lie and smiled.

"Wow."Kristen mentally appreciated his sense to lie.

"Uh? Lucifer." He introduced himself back earning a bigger confusion from the smaller man.

"As in the Devil?" Christian laughed as he looked at Kristen who shook her head.

"Yes, but you wouldn't believe it. Would you?"

"I can but don't have time, we have to leave now. Lilah, let's go." He asked to which the girl nodded.

"Okay, Selene is driving my car somewhere so I am joining you. Where is the car? My legs hurt from waiting for you both so walk fast." Lucifer said as he walked ahead of them.

"W-where is he going?" Christian asked Kristen who just sighed.

"He wants to come with us."

"Who even is he? How can we take a stranger with us and to where? Does he know anything about us or did Mom send him for checking on us?' He flooded her with questions.

"Geeez! No, and No. I know him since a week. I met him accidentally a few times and kind of became friends." She said while biting her lips.

"Friends? Since when? What about me? Should he be my friend too?"

"What's wrong with you now?" She asked not understanding why he was asking nonsense.

"Your friend should be my friend too and on top of that, it is my car so I should at least know him in the first place. How will I let a stranger in my car?" He asked, enlightening her on the reason.

"Come on, let's just go now. We are late already and I promise to explain this later." She said.

"Now you owe me one big time," Christian warned her before sassily walking to his car.

"So, this is my car and I am Christian. I work in an exporting company and I am her friend. My family lives around her in New York." He introduced himself all of a sudden.

"Oh, I am Lucifer and I own a few businesses here. I am also her friend for now and nice to meet you." The other reciprocated.

"Why should we go together?" Christian asked, not liking another person coming in between.

"Christian, that is rude." Kristen corrected as she pinched the man's waist sneakily.
