The Goddess

"It's finally done," muttered a Goddess.

A drop of blood fell from the tip of her finger and landed on another river of blood, seemingly forming an illustration of a circle rune. The flawless shining floor appeared to be carved by a sharp object, forming a circle with an indescribable design, emitting a mysterious vibe.

After the blood sipped out of the Goddess's finger, her skin mysteriously healed, not leaving a single scar. The blood landed at the precise center of the circle as it quickly merged with the pre-extent enormous quantity of blood as though it came from myriads of sources.

It was unimaginable for the Goddess to spill all her blood only to color the vast circle, but she actually executed it. Her body could quickly regenerate wounds and graze, and it wasn't only for it, but the blood she lost and the injury of her inside. Practically, the Goddess could be depicted as an immortal from the descriptions of a mythical book.

All of a sudden, the convoluted vast runic circle instantly lit up, releasing an eerie crimson luminescence.

Perceiving her work was finally activating, the Goddess jumped, and mysteriously, she was not affected by gravity. She floated higher and higher until she reached a platform where countless stairs were erected, and at the top was a majestic heavenly throne.

There, she sat elegantly and placed her cheek on her finger while she waited calmly for something to happen in the activating runic circle. She knew the process would take a long time, so she was being patient… only if her body language was ignored.

Time passed, and the eerie bloody luminescence suddenly struck with a blinding light, yet the Goddess calmly opened her lovely eyes wide, not affected by it.

The sudden explosion of the bloody blinding light continued to intensify, and before long, it covered the whole already white heavenly place with its crimson radiance, tainting the pristine site.

The Goddess placed her legs atop one another, waiting for the dazzling crimson radiance to diminish and disappear.

It didn't disappoint her, for it dissipated and vanished, and everything returned to the previous heavenly-looking place. However, an alteration happened when the eerie crimson light disappeared because inside the enormous runic circle…

A myriad of people appeared.

"Where are we?"

"What was that blinding light all of a sudden?"

Lucas could perceive his classmates' anxious voices. His eyes were already opened wide, wanting to examine his current predicament, but the blinding light blinded him. It took him more than a minute to stabilize his perception, and his vision slowly returned.

"Everyone, are all of you all right?" Michael asked.

Lucas was now not surprised that Michael was more concerned about others than his well-being. If Lucas was to recall, it was indeed that his personality made him an idol. Well, no matter what, if he was unattractive but kind-hearted, he couldn't become an idol, so it all contributed to his glamorous face.

Lucas quickly examined his vicinity and noticed that he and his classmates stood before a vast runic circle that seemed used for ritual. His thoughts quickly tried to determine what it was, why they were standing inside, and even exaggerating that they were being summoned by a cult tribe.

Or in another world…

'No! No! No! How could that be?! It's impossible it would happen as it wholly defies logic, overturning common sense!

And I see no technology used in the first place. This enormous runic circle seemed to have been drawn simply by a sharp object. If performing it would work, then humans might have been summoning their kind in different dimensions! And then technology would turn out pointless!'

Lucas scratched the back of his head violently, feeling his mind turning insane. There was no way they were being summoned through this vast runic circle, and utilizing the skill of a grandmaster artisan could be adequate to draw such a vast circle.

Of course, it might take days and would have to consider trials and errors and manpower, but still, it would not be surprising they could imitate such a vast runic circle.

'Wait, no! I should not be thinking this. Like I have time to care about the creation and purpose of this runic circle! I have to know if I can still see the rise of the sun the next day!'

While Lucas pondered excessively, to the point he was sweated with bullets, his vision accidentally landed on the throne above. No matter how far it was, even the stairs appeared never-ending, but the massive heavenly throne and the little person sitting at it were obviously eye-catching.

His peripheral vision slowly disappeared as his whole focus intently locked entirely towards those gigantic perky boobs… No, what was he thinking? He was actually referring to that person's appearance.

Lucas's face slightly reddened, and tried to quickly distract himself by scrutinizing the person's appearance again.

It appeared that the person was a woman because of her appearance and bearing. Although he couldn't see her up close, just her aura alone made Lucas imagine how attractive the woman was, especially those mouthwatering… Why was he distracted again?

Anyway, the woman was dressed purely white, especially that gown appearing to be made with silk only grown in a paradise. Most importantly, that throne protruding above her head was majestic and grandiose.

Then, a thought suddenly appeared in his mind, causing his eyes to widen to the point of bulging out.

'I must be in heaven!'

Yet Lucas suddenly appeared troubled and stared at the Goddess with a strange expression.

'If so, what Goddess is she? A Goddess of life and death? Reincarnation?'

While Lucas pondered for a while, the person he was staring at suddenly spoke in a euphoric voice:

"Please, can I have your attention, everyone?"

Her voice, the question, and that captivating smile quickly garnered everyone's attention, and not even Lucas was exempted.

However, not all of them were beguiled by it, for one person aggressively questioned the Goddess.

"Who are you?! And why are we here?!"

Lucas was shocked and hurriedly looked at the origin of the voice, but recognizing who it was, he didn't know if he was still to be surprised or not.

Of course, it was Michael, appearing wary of the Goddess and concerned for something, probably for his classmates.

Lucas shook his head lightly and thought:

'Well, that's one way to get killed.'
