Surprisingly, and thankfully for Michael, the Goddess wasn't offended. Lucas instantly respected the Goddess for having such a temperament. But to be honest, Michael wasn't to be blamed for acting aggressively earlier, though. It was natural to be concerned about themselves since they were facing an unknown.
On the other hand, Lucas might be the only person who didn't worry about himself, aside from the possible approaching crisis, of course. He didn't want to be tortured inhumanely, become a lamb as a sacrifice, or anything like that…
'I hope I'm not jinxing myself.'
After all, Lucas doesn't have a family to wait for him like his classmates, having influential and wealthy parents, except for his childhood friend.
He and his childhood friend grew up in an orphanage, and with a stroke of luck, they passed the entrance examination of the prestigious school.
That's how they succeeded in a school where the students were well-off.
Most importantly, Lucas was a carefree person and was not an ambitious person. The only reason he entered such a prestigious school was to accompany his childhood friend, who didn't even care about him.
One more thing, Lucas was already aware they were in front of the Goddess, so the Goddess must be benevolent and merciful, right? She might be summoning them to reincarnate.
'The question is… how did we die in the first place?'
"Good question." The Goddess replied to Michael's question, paused for a while, and continued. "To simplify, you guys were summoned by me. In case you thought you died, then no, how would you when you were only peacefully discussing something important? And that blinding light is not an explosion, of course."
It all answered their questions, and they were slightly astonished by how sharp the Goddess was. Now the question was what was the purpose of being summoned by a mythical figure?
Although they have a slight idea, they still want to obtain the answer directly from the Goddess.
"As some of you might guess. You guys were summoned to another world!"
Seeing their reactions, the Goddess already expected it. After all, who wants to travel to another world, all of a sudden? And she abruptly stole… summoned them without their consent. Without even having to say goodbye to their loved ones, they had to bid farewell silently.
"Of course, this is not the world I'm talking about, silly," giggled the Goddess as she noticed someone quickly examined the whole place, precisely Lucas. "This is just a domain that no one can get access to unless they have my permission. Just think of it like heaven, as you all know."
'Speaking of heaven, I really have to talk nicely to that old stager and convince him to steal… obtain some of his creations. The terms of conditions he kept adding were really irritating. Well, they are now mine, though, so he should have no problem about their future.'
Strictly speaking, the God of Creation of Earth rejected the Goddess who knows how many times, but the Goddess was adamant, so he had to take a step back. He was sworn by the Goddess that she would take care of his creations, and that's the most important vow he only wanted.
"Can we not return? Just for a while and talk for my parents… and my little brother... I'm missing them now," sobbed a girl.
The Goddess was quite stunned but then was vexed by the request of the crybaby. Yet she had to hold her temper, and appeared she felt pity she could not grant her request.
"Don't worry, baby girl. The world you will be transported to is the world of sword and magic! There might not be an advanced technology, but because of the existence of the Aether. With the help of Aether, you can possess supernatural power and conjure magical things.
Construct a building with just your hand for three days? Summon destructive power and create a domain solely belonging to your liking. All of that can be achieved if you lived in that world!"
She had already prepared how to comfort them and stimulate them to be exuberant, in case they would lose their reason to live and might commit suicide. She had to avoid it from happening, and the purpose of summoning them in the first place was not an easy task.
They have to fight in a life-and-death situation, but of course, the Goddess would not disclose it. Sadly, the Goddess failed to account that the students she summoned were not a blockhead not to comprehend her words.
"A world of sword and magic? Must be a brutal world, then," whispered one of the students.
Despite his barely audible voice, it echoed and entered everyone's ears as they nodded and acknowledged his opinion. The sobbing girl cried even more.
The Goddess had a stoic face but was screaming internally. It was for this purpose that she summoned them – the people on the Earth. Astonishingly, they possessed a high level of intelligence and wisdom, making them difficult to deceive. They instantly caught every single word, and an instant doubt that would appear would lead them to the truth.
Well, after living two thousand years - almost three thousand years - they advanced rapidly from a caveman to a physics man.
Of course, the Goddess did not come unprepared, she had already formulated a plan and would execute it. She was only slightly surprised… That's all.
"Yes, indeed a brutal world," said the Goddess without batting an eye. Not giving them time to react, she continued. "Needless to say, I would not summon you and transport you to that world without receiving my blessings. And those blessings will make you become overpowered in that world!
Have you all forgotten my message about owning a supernatural power? Of course, you will not obtain it without my blessings."
Inspecting their reactions, it seems it was effective. Specifically, for those boys, it has always been their dream to possess something that only appears in comics, novels, and movies.
In addition, the Goddess next word further ignited their desire to live in the world of swords and magic.
"Do you aim to conquer the world and dominate it? Having thousands of females in your harem, owning a vast kingdom, and people that will always kowtow whenever they see you. All of that is possible in the world of Dreka!"
