Reaper's Plan (3)

"Sora?" His face turned pale, and all of the force he was using to prevent any more harm to him was no longer there. I knew the pain would come eventually, but I didn't expect it to feel this bad. I released his wrist and grabbed my sword off my belt; it slid easily out of my holster. "I'm sorry it had to be this way, Enzo."

"Why... HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?!" Enzo exclaimed, trembling violently at the sight of me.

"That doesn't matter right now, Enzo, you don't need to do anything, stay there," I answered.

Enzo remained motionless. I thought he would kill himself for the Royal Family; after all, they have everyone thinking they are the most just human beings on the planet. "Sora, I have one question to ask you before you leave. Why did you do all this?"

I hesitated for a brief moment at that question.

"...Why do you need to know?"

Enzo responded, "If you tell me why, then maybe I'll join you and become the king that'll bring the nation and the world back together, but that is if you're worthy of my trust," Enzo suggested as he eyed me warily, seemingly skeptical if I could keep a promise like this.

I laughed darkly. "Enzo, the only thing keeping you from killing me is that we both know this, and no one else in the Royal Palace understands the reason for any of this either." I whispered.

He sighed heavily.

"Please continue Sora, please tell me what the reason for all of this chaos you've created was. Why must the Elite 10 be gone? Why didn't anyone deserve this fate? What did they do wrong that their punishment was the death penalty and not yours? That's what I'm saying. Is that too hard for you to say?" He questioned.

"This country is corrupt; Leo died for no reason. I am the embodiment of all the hatred Leo and I have towards the two people sitting right behind you."

"Do you realize what you're saying?" Enzo looked as though his mind had become unraveled and didn't seem rational. "WHAT ABOUT ALL THOSE LIVES THAT WOULD'VE DIED IF THE ROYAL FAMILY WASN'T AROUND!? They still have a chance! Give them a second chance; give everyone else in this damn country a chance! Sora!" He bellowed back at me, rage overwhelming him, but his words did not penetrate the thick veil of hatred within my heart.

"It seems you still do not grasp the corruption that the royal family has over you; therefore, now isn't the time for us to meet. FORGET." I chanted, and Enzo fell to the ground as I erased his memories of him ever meeting me. I walked up in front of the king and queen of the Xuidian Kingdom.

The queen gasped, and her eyes widened at the sight. I proceeded to grab her wrist; her body started to levitate a bit.

"Wait, no, no, wait...!" she said quickly, and the queen pulled out of her own purse a long, glowing blue stone. Before she could do anything, I sliced off her arm with a scythe made out of my Oblivion Magic. "You're pathetic." I uttered this to the now-disabled queen, who started to scream frantically.

"HELP ME, MY DEAR, HELP ME," the King, who also got up, walked towards me until I pointed the blade at his face and stopped the instant I threatened his life. "I suggest you tell me where the rest of the Elite 10 is before I slice both of your heads off." The king gulped and took a sharp inhale as he felt his whole life flash before his eyes.

"Master, we have trouble; the Elite 10 have arrived," Xavier told me with a serious look.

"Excellent," I remarked while I got up, ready for their arrival, letting out an evil, sadistic grin.

"Kill them."

There were eight of them standing right in front of the entrance to the throne room. It seemed they all had the looks of disgust and bloodlust on their faces. I guess it can't be helped as I killed one of their members. I stood up straight and cleared my throat, stepping forward a little.

"As you know, my name is the Reaper of Death. I am also known as the man who killed The Voidwalker 2 years ago, Sora Katayama. This information will be useless to you, as all of you will perish by the time I leave this room."

"Are you an absolute buffoon!?" A woman with blonde hair exclaimed. She was dressed in white, revealing her sexy legs. "The Reaper of Death? Voidwalker? What are you saying?! Those titles are nothing but hearsay!"

The woman drew her sword out, pointing at my face with a serious expression etched onto hers.

"Master, do you know those five?" Xavier questioned in astonishment as we exchanged glances between us. I chuckled before replying, "Of course not.

"Take care of these guys for me."

Before we could finish our conversation, the blonde woman jumped down in front of us; with an elegant yet refined air surrounding her, she thrust her blade straight towards my chest. "Die!" She yelled at us while attacking.

I dodged to the left and shot some shadowy magic blasts straight at her body.

"STEPH, MOVE! FORGOTTEN DOMAINS!" The five members used magic circles around the entire group and surrounded each member of the 4 guards. The 2 mages surrounded me by combining their spells: Shadow Prison and Forgotten Domains.

I flew away, teleported to behind one mage, and knocked the mage out from behind. The other mage saw me from the side, "NANEI, BEHIND YOU!" Nanei shot a massive ice storm right towards me, which exploded on contact, sending me tumbling forward as the ice magic nearly froze my legs.

However, when Nanei cast an ice spell, another member of the Elite Ten who has fire manipulation abilities; with a wave of her wand, her magic circle produced an incredible amount of heat, melting the frozen water in mere moments and sending me flying forward. As the others looked over from above and began yelling down toward us, I barely had enough strength left to defend myself.

"Nanei, step back; I'll deal with him." Kerei said while rushing me, charging towards her right after she'd cast her spell.

The girl with orange hair raised her wand, summoning flames directly from below my body, scorching me with its sheer power. I tried to teleport again, but nothing happened. My spell must have been cut off by her own powers, rendering mine completely useless.

"Where is the King?" I shouted, directing a fist toward Nanei, punching the petite, muscular frame of Kerei's while simultaneously defending herself from my assaults and freezing me on the spot using her magic once again.

"I SAID STEP DOWN, NANEI! DO YOU HEAR ME!?"

Kerei roared out, smashing my frozen body on top of Nanei and slamming them both into a concrete pillar.

I laughed dryly before delivering a powerful uppercut punch onto Kerei's skull.
