Phase One

We just sat there for a while and looked at the stars, it has been a long month for all of us... not just me.

The next day...

I woke up and saw that the sun was shining through my window. I got up and stretched my body.

"It's going to be a good day." I said to myself.

I went to the bathroom and took a shower, then brushed my teeth and combed my hair.

"Today's the day." I thought to myself.

I put on my uniform and went to breakfast.

When I walked into the cafeteria, everyone was talking about the recent attack from Lich. I smirked, I guess word has spread that I faced against someone that was basically a god.

"That's right, people, I fought against Lich and lived to tell the tale." I thought to myself.

I walked over to my usual table and sat down.

"Hey, Sora, what's up?" Leo asked.

"Nothing much, I'm just ready to get back to training." I replied.

"You sure? I heard you were pretty banged up after fighting Lich." Leo said.

"Yeah, I'm fine, I've been healed up." I replied.

Leo nodded his head and said, "Alright, if you say so."

"Hey guys." Reagan said as he walked over to our table.

"What's up Reagan?"

"Sora, I have something to tell you." Reagan said.

I turned around and saw Reagan holding something behind his back.

"What is it, Reagan?"

"The move I like to call Timeline Erasure, I can never use it again." He replied.

I looked at him and said, "What? Why not?"

"Because, I have no mana left, it literally erased all my mana, and now I have none." He replied.

My eyes widened. Reagan has no magic anymore. I refused to believe this.

"WHY WOULD YOU SACRIFICE YOUR MAGIC?!" I yelled.

He sighed and looked down. "Sora, there was no other way for us to beat Future Sora. He became this godly entity that didn't seem to have any weaknesses. It had to be done for the kingdom, so I have decided to step down from being your bodyguard as most of the threats have been eliminated."

I felt a sharp pain in my chest. What was wrong with me? I felt tears forming in my eyes.

"Reagan, I'm sorry." I replied.

"All I can do now is be your teacher and try to guide you to becoming the number one magic user in this world." Reagan said.

He smiled and nodded. We parted ways. For now, me and Leo headed to class in order to continue our studies after so long of not going to class.

"Sora, I don't think you understand how bad this is. Reagan was one of the strongest magic users in the kingdom, when The Voidwalker finds out that Reagan no longer can fight we might be in trouble." Leo said.

"Don't worry, I'll protect the both of you if need be." I replied.

"You're the only one I can trust, Sora. You're the only one who knows about The Voidwalker and what he is capable of. If he comes back, you have to be ready." Leo said.

"I will be, I promise." I replied.

We went to class and learned about the history of the kingdom. When lunch came around, I sat with Remi and Leo, but Reagan wasn't with us. I was starting to get worried for Reagan's mental health, not only did he lose all of his mana, he lost a limb in the process of the attack and could no longer heal it. I understand how he feels, I still have a bionic arm after Brown chopped off my arm.

"You guys seen Reagan around?" I asked.

"Yeah, I saw him in the library, he was reading a book." Leo replied.

"What? That's weird, Reagan's not the type of guy to read books." I said.

"I know, but he looked really depressed, like something was bothering him." Leo replied.

"I'll go check up on him." I said as I got out of my seat.

The Voidwalker's perspective:

I walked into the room and saw the dead bodies of my men lying on the floor. I was angry, I would find whoever did this and make them pay dearly for what they did.

"Who could have done this?" I thought to myself.

I looked around the room and saw that it was completely empty, nothing was left. Not even the bodies of my men. I went back to my office and sat down behind my desk. I needed to find out who did this to me and why they would do such a thing.

"My Lord, I have gotten news one of the Xuidian Kingdom's strongest warriors can no longer use mana." One of the grunts said.

"That is impossible, there is no way someone can lose their mana." I said.

"Sir, it's true, I was there when it happened. He used this new move called Timeline Erasure and it wiped out all his mana." The grunt said.

I smirked, if this warrior could no longer use mana it would make it a lot easier to infiltrate the Xuidian Kingdom and take that Oblivion Crystal from Sora.

"This is perfect, we can finally take out those pests and obtain the crystal." I thought to myself.

"Thank you for the information, you may go now." I said.

"Yes sir." The grunt said as he walked out of the room.

I smiled and said, "Now, it's time for phase two of my plan."

The next day...

Sora's perspective:

It was another day of school, and we were all getting ready to go to class.

"Hey, Sora, what's up?" Leo said.

"Nothing much, just looking forward to training again." I replied.

"Yeah, me too."

"We should get going, class is about to start." Remi said.

We started walking towards the classroom, and I heard an explosion in the school. You have to be kidding me, not again...

"Not this shit again..." I said.

"What is going on?" Leo said.

"Stay here." I said as I ran into the building.

I saw a bunch of students running away from the explosion, I ran over to see what was going on and saw The Voidwalker standing in the middle of the hall.

"VOIDWALKER!" I yelled.

"We meet again, Sora Katayama." He chuckled.

I gritted my teeth in disgust. I was going to take down this man at all costs. No matter what I have to kill him, there is no other option.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

He chuckled and said, "I'm here to take what's rightfully mine."

"And what would that be?" I asked.

"That crystal you stole from me." He said as he activated his aura.

I smiled, I'll kill this bastard.

"Well, I guess you're going to have to fight me for it." I said.

I activated my aura and charged towards him. He jumped back and tried to punch me in the face, but I blocked it with my bionic arm and kicked him in the stomach. He stumbled back and I punched him in the face. He fell to the ground and got up. He smirked and I saw his aura change color, it was now a dark purple, almost like it was a void.

"So this is Oblivion Magic." I said as I tried not to fly away from the sheer energy coming off him.

"Yes, this is the power of Oblivion Magic, the ultimate form of magic." He said.

His aura changed shape and he said, "You won't win this fight, Sora. Give me the crystal."

"Never!" I yelled as I tried to punch him, but he blocked it and hit me in the chest.

I flew back and landed on the ground. I got up and charged at him again. I threw a punch at him, but he caught it and punched me in the face. Before the fight could continue, Williams walked in on us fighting.

"What do we have here?" He asked.
