Elite 10

"Please, please don't kill me, I beg you." Tempest uttered with a grim voice and coughed up more blood after a few minutes, but instead of pity or guilt, it only excited me further. I threw him to the floor face down on his back and used my leg to step onto his spine.

His bones shattered, making him lose his consciousness. Tempest was no longer able to move. He'd suffered serious internal damage when his ribs shattered underneath my heel. His flesh and organs were destroyed. His breath stopped suddenly as I squished every last little ounce of life inside him, letting him die slowly in utter pain.

"Kill! Kill! Kill!" Xavier repeated continuously, his demonic grin appearing on my face when the King started screaming frantically for his last elite member's life. I laughed crazily like a hyena while watching the dying corpse of Tempest that had fallen dead, spilling his blood and guts all over the floor; soon after his life force drained out completely, the rest of them started crying hysterically at the gruesome sight before them.

The guards ran towards them in an attempt to help, but they were useless in saving them because I also had my guard behind me, ready for them at the flick of my hand.

"You see how easy it is for me to slaughter everyone here?"

The five of the elite 10 kneeled, defeated and desperate; each one trembled with fear as my dark aura pulsated from my body, oozing with death energy. The power coming off my body made them feel like their blood ran cold.

I picked up Tempest's cold body from the floor, inspecting every single wound, noticing the many pieces of his flesh stuck between each tooth of my suit. I threw the lifeless body towards them and turned back around to face their trembling King, a smirk appearing on his lips.

"You are pitiful little humans! As your species deserves, I grant you a second death, so make your prayers before the blade cuts through your necks." I spread out my arms, darkness materialising around my figure and slowly encasing everything within my field.

All of the elite 10 now shrieked simultaneously; their vocal cords strained while voices were completely hoarse as they struggled helplessly under my influence, their minds crumbling and breaking apart into millions upon millions of pieces until their entire spirit shattered to dust. The only one that remained was Enzo. Of course, I did that on purpose, as my goal is to make myself known, not kill my friends. Am I truly justified for my actions?

After 15 minutes, the elite 10's minds broke down from the terror they felt, the king and his last guard watching in complete horror as their bodies fell lifeless and motionless to the ground.

"Please, please, nooooo, you didn't need to kill them. Let's talk! Take their body's outside, dispose of them somewhere."

King Xuidia frantically yelled as his guards' arms moved down and grabbed their corpses by their feet to remove them from view and begin dragging them away from my vision.

"I will make you feel death 10 thousand times fold."

I strode over towards them and walked slowly around, occasionally looking back every now and then until I'd made my way closer to Enzo; without warning, a thunderous boom echoed behind us, and he fell to the floor without his eyes registering. The guards noticed his movement but did nothing to stop him because they knew it would end their lives.

With each step I took, my intentions became clear: I meant them both no good. And judging by how quickly they backed up into their corner, it proved that fact. I knew the situation was about to escalate, therefore I got out of there as soon as possible as I wanted to reduce the amount of innocent casualties.

And now the last battle was upon them; before all those who remain present have been massacred. "SAVE THE PEOPLE! ALL WHO ARE STILL ALIVE, RUN BEFORE HE KILLS US ALL!" The king's cry was short and abrupt when my scythe severed the last ounce of his neck with one fell swoop, severing his vocal cords instantly. His blood splattered onto Enzo's unconscious body lying flat on his side.

He couldn't feel anything except fear for the inevitable that would come upon us soon if things were kept like this forever.

So when Enzo awoke seconds later from his unconscious slumber and realised what had transpired between the King and myself. He was filled with shock, terror and guilt for failing to save him in time. He saw all of his comrades' lifeless bodies all around him, his mind was filled with anguish and guilt as he was not able to save the ones that he could call comrades.

"I can feel a strong presence coming towards me. It seems it must be the pillar of the Xuidian Kingdom, the strongest mage in the Kingdom." I said.

Suddenly the strongest mage that was known as the Pillar appeared in front of me. It was Remi... this can't be. "So it seems you must be the pillar of this nation, is your name by chance Remi Scarlet?" I asked Remi.

"What's it to you, bastard." Remi retorted angrily.

"No wonder why you are called the strongest mage in the nation. However, as you can see, you will meet the same end, Remi!" I informed her confidently.

"Did you not listen when I said you're not getting away with this, you monster. No one besides us will know what transpired here today. Only a handful of guards are allowed here, so don't expect anyone to come save you! Besides, do not fear, child, when I defeat you, you'll die knowing that you had the privilege of dying to me personally."

Remi retorted angrily as well as being curious as to how he got that information so quickly.

"Remi, do you know anyone by the name of Sora Katayama? I have been looking for him for a couple years." Even thought I uttered those words as a lie, I had hoped she just said no, I want them to all forget about me, they are the only people left that let me cling onto my humanity.

Remi could feel herself getting nervous, "Why do you ask such questions!" She shouted as she began summoning a giant blue circle around her and filling the entire area with water. "Don't try anything, bastard, or I won't hesitate to turn you to mince meat!" She threatened.

"Do you know of a man named Sora Katayama or not?" Remi yelled, waiting for an answer to come but instead seeing my wicked grin appear on my face, a sign that I knew more than she thought.

"So what if I do? So what if I don't?! I'll save my questions for after you're done explaining what you're up to!" Her hand points towards my direction. Her face clearly displayed her fear and hatred for me, "Water Arcanum, Sea Dragon Blast!"

In an instant, I find myself in front of her, my hand grasping her throat tightly. "I'm sorry it had to be this way then." I teleported back to the kingdom in the middle of the city with everyone able to look at the pillar being choked by my hands. "EVERYONE LISTEN UP AND OBEY, YOUR NATION OF Xuidian has fallen, the nation was now under new rule, the one and only King of Darkness." I announced, holding a hostage in my hand.
