Determine Inception

Keela: Everyone says that high school is the worst, but for me it may be the best thing that’s ever happened to me. It’s where I met him, it’s where my life changed drastically, it’s where I got the chance to start over. At first everyone looks the same, but deep down they are different, all wishing and wanting differently. That’s why it’s intriguing to get to know some of the unique people here. John: Nothing really ever changes in this small school, 3 hours away from the closest city or town. Even though we had new students all the time they didn’t really stand out in the crowd and often left shortly after arriving here, that was until she showed up. I wonder how a simple girl like her got into this elite school.

Waking up to my two younger sisters, Celeste (who is 7) and Kaylen (who is 8) , fighting again. I silently and sarcastically wonder how I would wake up some days without them. I walk out of the same room that I've been in all my life to see what they are yelling about now. Not to my surprise, they are arguing about their clothes, yet again, like every other day.

I go past them and into the kitchen where I take a mug and pour myself a small cup of coffee and say good morning to my mom, who is just walking out of her room, and sisters. Mom yells at the girls and goes back to her room. I hate how she does that, can't she be a normal mom and just tell them to stop fighting instead of cussing at her daughters and going back into hiding. I start calming down the two crying girls when, I tell them to not fight and that they have many clothes that they can wear. I go into my room and grab two beautifully rapped gifts that I had purchased for them. In each box there is a simple dress that my girlfriend, Marie, helped pick out for them for their first day of school. After handing each of them their presents I retreat to the kitchen where I begin make them waffles with fruit faces, their favorite. They quickly eat before going to their room and changing into their dresses.

I clean up the breakfast mess and glance over at the clock. 4:15 it reads. I go to my room and run a brush quickly through my light brown hair before heading to the closet and pulling out a pair or black pants and a white colored shirt, that had arrived in the mail yesterday, I quickly put them on along with some sneakers. I walk into the living room where I plugged in the hair curler so that Kaylen would have the curly hair she asked for last week. Celeste come out of the room first, wearing the purple maxi dress I had bought her.Purple really brings out her dark green eyes I thought as she walked towards me. She handed me a brush and asked "Can you put my hair half up half down please?". I then told her that I could and put her deep brown hair into the half up half down style. Not long after I see Kaylen walking out of their room in the coral colored dress that makes her dark brown eyes seem lighter. I told her to sit down and after she was seated I started curling her dirty blonde hair.

They put their shoes on and grabbed their backpacks before we walked outside. I took pictures of them, like mom use to do before dad passed away last year, and walked them to their bus stop. After they got on I went home grabbed my backpack and walked to my bus stop and got on the bus. A hour later I arrived at school to see a new car pull into the school. Soon I find myself wondering who's car just pulled into the school. If I'm a betting person it's just some new student that probably won't be here for long.
