Viper did not know what was the sudden change in order but considering how much she went through with Muramasa, she knew that there was no way he gave a contradicting order without any reason.

Perhaps, he did it to ensure that the kill was theirs and the bounty goes to the Muramasa instead of other assassinations. That was pretty much her deduction at that split second as she opened the door ready with the revolver that they smuggled in ...To find a greenish creature looking at her with bloodshot eyes as its blade was right at the edge of the minister's throat.

Even before she could process her thoughts, Viper's fingers already moved due to her trained assassin instinct. The loud shot echoed through the entire auditorium, shocking people to see the direction of the sound wondering what was it.

If not for the shout through the encrypted channel, Needle and Moth would have assumed that it was a successful hit and they would have gone to plan B. But no, she shot another two more times, before lights were directed to the VIP corner. At that moment, those sitting on the higher floors could see dead bodyguards, a shivering Defence Minister, and a beautiful lady with a weapon in her hands.

"Grab him!" Muramasa said in a hurry as he attempted to calculate her new route. "Moth and Needle go to her as soon as possible. Moth! There's a fire axe at your left corner take that to arm yourself! Needle, there's a Glock pistol underneath the compartment of your seat. Kick it hard to retrieve it!"

"Fuck!" She did not hesitate to obey her handler's orders and the others did the same as well. "What the fuck are that fugly things?!! There were two more hiding at the side of the corner biting the shit out of the dead guards!" She dragged the shaken minister with her and he was not resisting at all.

"I do not know!!" Muramasa blurted out as he saw more of these creatures that seemed to be moving toward Viper and Minister Blaire. To him, they looked like goblins but the fact that there were no facial features to denote that they were goblins because there was no face at all. Only a deformed faceless head with lots of teeth. 

However, the more he saw them, their figure and behaviour were like goblins. They even have a fucking fibre loincloth that their waist and carried crude weapons. 

The opera singer stopped and the announcer suddenly came out of the stage to tell everyone to stay calm. "We will be investigating the situation, the security will lock all doors to ensure that no one would be hurt from thi-ARGGHH!!!" Suddenly, a Faceless Goblin came out of nowhere and started biting his shoulders and subsequently his head. 

That ensued panic and this gave the chance for Needle to pick up his gun. The guards in the area took out their baton sticks and only bodyguards employed by Defence Ministry had pistols with them. It was becoming a shitshow.

The same thing happened to Viper and Minister Blaire as gunshots were heard as they attempted to escape downwards where there were guards attempting to fight against this unknown menace. 

"It's the caretaker and the minister!" The junior who previously warned his senior about Viper, shouted. But at that moment of carelessness, the Faceless Goblin rushed to chomp that junior's head off.
