Chapter 5

"Get me the clothes I hide in that tree." I say nodding my head to the tree. Hunter throws them at me. "Wow, thanks." I say sarcastically throwing the sweatshirt and sweatpants on. Scout picks me up and carries me through the woods to our house.

We have a pack house, and then one for us right next to it. Hunter stops for a second, and Scout does the same looking at him.

"The first pup was just born." Hunter says. We all have smiles on our faces. There hasn't been a pup born since the attack. We still have five other pregnant females, but the first out of all six was born. Hunter, and Scout's mates are two of them, which makes everyone even more thrilled.

"We will have to go congratulate them." Scout says as me start again.

"I think my side is just badly bruised." I say knowing I'm not bleeding. I know nothing is broken because that pain is a whole lot worse.
