A Conversation Under The Stars & A Final Decision Made
Ava follows him as he walks towards my building. ‘Okay? What’s going on?’. She seems to get more confused when they step inside the elevator and Xavier presses on the top floor button.
“Are you planning to throw me off the roof?” She asks.
Xavier rolls his eyes, “Ha! Ha! Ha! You’re funny.”
And Ava cracks a small smile, finally, feeling not so alone more.
The door dings open and they have to climb one staircase to the roof. Xavier urges Mia to open the door as she mumbles, “He is definitely throwing me off the roof.”
“I can hear you.” Xavier says from behind her, making her grin as she pushes the door open only to gasp in surprise after she sees what was waiting for her.
In the middle of the roof was a blanket fort in the shape of a tent, with blankets and pillows under it. There was a laptop with ‘The Last Song’, my favourite movie at pause. When did he do this? And how? There were even fairy lights around the tent.
