Bloodline Awakening

The final task in the Triwizard was at hand. Now Tiberius watched scheming his ass off and planning on his next moves.

He knows he can not take on Voldemort just yet, so he needs to train even more and complete the serum.

MC POV

It's been more than a few hours, and Harry, along with Cedric's dead body. A few minutes later, there was chaos among the crowds as Cedric was dead.

Harry was taken by Moody to calm down after continuously saying that the Dark Lord was back.

After a few hours, Minister Fudge stormed out, looking very angry. He refuses to believe that Voldemort has returned.

I attended the end of term feast, where Dumbledore announced that Lord Voldemort had returned.

I boarded the Hogwarts Express, and when I reached my destination, Arcturus had a dark look on his face.

We went home where Arcturus told me that he sensed the presence of Lord Voldemort.

"It's true, he's back, I use Legilimency on Harry, and he was telling the truth."

"I see. What will you do now."

"Prepare for the fight that comes ahead."

Arcturus nodded, and I went back to my training. I relentlessly trained harder as I knew I wasn't strong enough to face Voldemort.

During my magical training, I didn't use a wand and slowly started to master wandless magic.

Arcturus watched, proud of my progress. He told me that I was strong enough to take on a group of Elite Aurors.

But it wasn't enough, I needed more power. Day after day, I trained all day whilst taking a few breaks.

My magical reserves were increasing, and on one of my duels with Arcturus, I was slowly pushing him back.

He relented and unleashed his true power for only a moment, which sent me flying.

Arcturus looked at me, thinking about something, and then he spoke.

"It's time. You have made me proud, Tiberius. You trained harder than your siblings. You grew in power and intellect during your years at Hogwarts.

I couldn't have asked for a better son."

"Wait, what do you mean by son."

"You will find out when you become a man. Now, it is time for you to awaken your bloodline ability."

Arcturus walked towards me and tapped me on the forehead with his wand.

As soon as the wand made contact with my forehead, I felt immense pain on my forehead that started spreading to my entire body.

I saw black veins on my hand and then on my entire body. The pain got stronger and stronger until I unleashed an inhuman roar.

Dark Aura was around me, which spread towards my surroundings. Arcturus shielded himself with a black Protego.

The entire room was covered in darkness, and after a few minutes, it disappeared.

The feeling of pain was gone. It was replaced by a feeling of raw and untamed power.

I looked at my hands. They were surrounded by darkness. I could manipulate this darkness.

Arcturus looked at me with respect.

"You have done well, now try using your aura, the same way I used mine on you."

I did exactly as he asked, I encased my entire body with this darkness and mixed it with magic.

My aura was a mixture of black and red. I looked at my entire body. God, I love magic.

I turned my aura off and turned towards the training dummies, I made a ball of darkness and threw it towards the dummies.

The dummies exploded when the sphere of darkness reached it. I smiled at the destruction I could cause.

Kreacher appeared with a glass of and he was crying tears of joy.

"The young master has finally awakened. His power and potential know no bound. Soon, he shall succeed the master and become the new Black Lord."

I used my magic to take the glass of water. As I raised my right hand and used magic, there was a flicker of dark aura around my hand and the water.

The glass of water floated to me, and I drank it.

Arcturus spoke.

"Your bloodline ability has not only given you the power of darkness. It has also given you an upgrade in your magic. Your spells will be more powerful.

And you have broken through to the third stage in your Dark Awakening."

I raised my hands and used Force Lightning on the dummies, and instead of purple lightning, only red lightning came out.

These new powers of mine are very useful indeed.

"Thank you for unlocking my bloodline ability, grandfather."

"You are welcome, Tiberius. What will you do now."

"Go back to my experiments." Arcturus nodded and left with Kreacher bowing and then leaving.

I went to my lab and began my experimentations. On my left, there were vials that had different balls of energies.

These were souls, and the ones that glow brighter than the others are souls of wizards and witches.

I plan on either using them to strengthen my soul or in a ritual. I also experimented on trolls.

Due to experimenting on trolls, I was able to make serums that would give me the strength of a troll.

But I won't. Instead, I will give them to my underlings as the serum I am going to create is more complex and far more powerful.

I got back to my experiments and began creating the serum that will break my human limits.
