The hands of the giant statue suddenly turned toward the mothership and unleashed a devastating beam of lights that melted every spacecraft that were 10 000 meters away.

Nodus sighed and opened his palm toward the mothership.

As soon the 8 rays of light landed on the shield, it easily pierced through the forcefield until it fell on the last layer that caused the straight stream of light to spread into smaller lines around the magnetic shield.

His eyes suddenly became blue as he nudged his fingers that caused the tiny lines of light to spread toward the smaller ships.

Other than Bacis who slightly mattered, Nodus couldn't care less about these grunts who piloted their ship like idiots as he decided to destroy every one of them that bothers him without any mercy.

"How..!? I might need to-"

Nodus lifted his left hand and tore the entire cannon apart.

Bai An and the Herox were dumbfounded as they watch the black barrel floating away in the empty space.

With the light energy depleted from the guardians, their arms returned to the void and alerted the rest of her companions.

"I still can't send any signal to the other generals!"

While the scientist lost their will to battle, the remaining soldiers were scuffling their way through the halls and jumped into space through the giant exit that was meant for the spacecraft.

A spark of light consumed the talisman and enveloped the beautiful woman in a white globe of light before disappearing from the mountain.

Bai An who sat to recover her strength felt a warm light shining against her back.

"The Alter Light talisman... Bai Cai?!"

The ball of light appeared out of nowhere and brought the blue-haired woman along before fading away into space.

Bai An stood up as she held onto the hands of her friend, Bai Cai who just arrived on the battlefield.

"Sister An, what happened? The guardians told us that someone was powerful enough to rival the princess is here..."

Bai Cai noticed the enormous mothership and got instantly distracted by it as she never saw something this big.

"This chunk of metal carried the vile aura that the princess was talking about and I took care of him already but..."

Bai An pointed at Nodus who just eliminated the last of the Herox fleet who came out to fight in space.

"That is..?"

"I am not sure who he is... But it seems like he is against them.."

After looking around for any remaining grunts, Nodus quickly approached the mothership before placing his hand on the exterior walls.

Nodus threw his smoking gun away, and as it quickly cooled down, the weapon stretched and molded onto his suit.

"Destroy all of their power sources and gather the stellar map data."

White Jade appeared on top of the monitors at the lower part of the main bridge and stretched out a thin white pole toward one of the computers.

As soon White Jade touched the computer of the ship, she turned off every generator and cut off the power of the entire ship as the lights within the whole ship turned dark.

Nodus threw a teal colored chip that transformed into a glass box.

He opened the front lid of the box and took out a canned drink before laying down in midair.

The carbonated drink sound echoed through the bridge.

"I am getting pretty sleepy...Must boredom."

Nodus yawned once again before shutting his eyes.

"What happened?"

The annihilator engine died out, and space was now tranquil as usual.

The two girls looked at the front, dark gap of the mothership before debating on their next move.
