Arrival

"Watch out!" Hiroto yelled towards Tanjiro and the others.

*BOOM*

The dragon heads swerved and crashed into their positions. Hiroto ran past one of the heads and climbed onto it, before slashing his sword downwards.

*crack* The sword broke off pieces of bark and wood as it glided through the wooden dragon head, decapitating it.

Another dragon head came around and screamed towards Hiroto.

"Screeeee!!!" *WHOOSH* a blast of air came from the head and headed straight for Hiroto.

Thinking quickly, Hiroto reacted and jumped to the side of the neck of the wooden head he cut off. *shik* Stabbing his sword into the wood, he hid behind it as the air blast slammed into the side of the wooden neck and pushed it along with Hiroto.

"Mmph!" *BAM* Nezuko rushed up and kicked the wooden head that was screaming to the side, shutting its mouth closed.

Quickly recovering, Hiroto jumped on back down to the ground and ran towards the main Demon. He looked up and saw the Demon raise his hand and slam it against the drum behind him.

*bam*

*Bzzzzzz* *Kacha* Various lightning strikes cascading down onto Hiroto, who in turn dodged and weaved past the attacks.

Running past the attacks, Hiroto turned to Tanjiro and the others and shouted, "Leave this to me! Go find the main body! Hurry!"

*BOOM* Another wooden dragon head slammed down towards Hiroto, who dodged and cut it's head apart in half.

"Genya! Nezuko!" Tanjiro shouted after being thrown off from an attack. "Trust my brother! We have to go!"

"Aghhh!! *CRACK*" Genya screamed out as he bit out a chunk of the wooden dragon, "Fine!"

"Mphhh!!" Nezuko cried out, as her arm was trapped inside of a wooden head. *BAM BAM BAM* She repeatedly kicked the jaw of it to loosen it up.

In the next movement, a fast shadow moved past her and landed on its head. *shik* Slashing his sword down, Hiroto cut off the dragons upper jaw and released Nezuko.

"Go! Go and help Tanjiro!" Hiroto shouted but was then interrupted by a wooden dragon head that opened its mouth and had even more dragon heads emerge from it.

*clang* Blocking its bite with his sword, Hiroto grabbed his sheath and jammed it into its mouth and pried it open.

"Let go of my sword!" Hiroto yelled, stepping on the bottom of its jaw and prying it open. He put the sheath vertically up on the jaw as it clamped down, causing it to be stuck open.

'That should buy me some time.' Hiroto thought, before running towards the child Demon once more.

The child Demon stared Hiroto down as he approached him. 'He's definitely not a normal Demon Slayer. He's on par with the Hashira's.'

*bam*

Hitting another drum behind him, all of the wooden dragon heads turned and charged at once towards Hiroto.

'Why can't you Demons just die like the others?' Hiroto thought, annoyed at how these Upper Moons keep splitting.

'Dance of the Fire God, Clear Blue Sky' As the heads were about to smash into him, Hiroto jumped up and spun his body vertically. The trail of fire on his blade followed him as he created a 360-degree slash, similar to the second form in the Breath of Water.

*shik shik* Hiroto slashed into all 5 different heads, causing splinters and bark to fly in every direction.

*thik thik* The wooden branches began to grow from where the heads were cut off, replacing them with new heads almost instantaneously.

"SCREEEE!!" One of the new heads screamed at Hiroto, sending a loud sound wave at him.

"AGhhh!!" Hiroto felt his eardrums being ruptured. Having no time to grab his head in pain, he pushed through it and ran down the length of a dragon's neck.

'Breath of Silence, First Form: Encroaching Darkness'

The surrounding areas quickly turned dim, as a dark veil descended upon them.

"These tricks won't work on me." The child Demon said, hitting a drum behind him.

*bam*

"Scree!!" The 5 different heads screamed out at once at the area around them, causing the land to deform and break apart.

"That was the point!" Hiroto's yell came from behind the Demon, who quickly turned around and raised his two daggers.

*clang* The blow was blocked as splinters flew off his wooden daggers.

"A distraction then? What a shameful way of fighting." The Demon said, kicking towards Hiroto's head.

Ducking under his leg, Hiroto slashed upwards at the same time to sever the Demon's leg. "Coming from a Demon," Hiroto commented.

*clang* His sword slash was blocked again, as the Demon deflected the parried blow to the side and jumped back.

*bam* Quickly hitting the drum on his back.

*bzzzz* *KACHAA* Lighting fell onto Hiroto, who in turn ran forward and dodged the strikes.

*whoosh* Noticing the change in air pressure to his side, Hiroto quickly jumped away.

*BOOM* The ground where he was blown apart as a wooden dragon head crashed into it. Reeling its head around it launched itself towards Hiroto again.

Before Hiroto could react, he was struck by the lightning.

"Gahhh!!" Screaming out, his muscles spasm uncontrollably as they tightened up on him.

"Screee!!" A dragon head yelled out as it charged towards Hiroto.

'Dammit! Move!' Hiroto yelled in his mind, as his body was constantly assaulted by the Demon's lightning.

As the wooden dragon was about to close in on Hiroto, a figure quickly arrived at his side and sliced through the dragon's head.

"M...Mitsuri?" Hiroto struggled to speak through the lightning coursing through his body.

"Ah! What's happening to you?! Are you getting struck down by karma!" Mitsuri yelled, looking at Hiroto.

She then turned to the child Demon and lunged towards him.

"Huh, a Hashira." The child said, releasing the attack from Hiroto and hitting a drum on his back.

*bam*

Hiroto, having been freed from the lightning quickly said, "Mitsuri, be careful! That's not the real body! We have to buy time for Tanjiro and the others!

"I'll be fine! Don't worry about it!" Mitsuri said back.

'Breath of Love, Third Form: Lovely Kitty Shower!!'

Mitsuri leaped into the air and unleashed a series of ranged arced attacks in quick succession. Passing pass the attacks that came towards her, she slashed through the heads with her strange sword that weaved through the air.

Hiroto followed up behind her and arrived next to her in front of the child Demon.

Mitsuri pointed her weirdly curved sword at the Demon and shouted, "Hey, you! Your pranks went too far! Look at what you did to Hiroto!"

"Shut your mouth, harlot. A wench like you shouldn't talk back to me like that." The child Demon growled back at her.

"... HARLOT?! Har...Ha… ME?! Does he mean me?! Hiroto, I'm not a Harlot right?! How rude!" Mitsuri yelled, looking at Hiroto at the side.

"Sorry, can't hear you. My ears were blasted out pretty badly before." Hiroto said smacking his ear and running forward towards the Demon.

'Then at least deny it first!!' Mitsuri yelled out in her mind.

The child Demon then opened its mouth and released his attack, 'Deafening Screeech'

"SCREEEE!!"

'Breath of Silence, Second Form 'Crescent Moon'

Before the attack reached him, Hiroto threw his body close to the ground and concentrating the power to his legs, he pushed himself forward as the scream attack assaulted him.

Gritting his teeth as the attack stopped him in his tracks, he shouted out, "MITSURI! NOW!!"

"I know!!" Mitsuri shouted as she jumped above Hiroto.

'Breath of Love, Second Form: Anguish Inducing Love'

Mitsuri extended her sword forward and sent a whipping slash towards the Demon.

The Demon's attack was interrupted by Mitsuri, as he closed his mouth and deflected the strikes from her.

*clang clang*

Taking this opportunity, Hiroto, no longer under the attack, forced all of his power into his feet and pushed forward, leaving behind a trail of splinters and broken up bark as it tears through the ground.

Barely having any time to react at the sheer speed of this attack, the Demon was forced to jump back as Hiroto delivered a vertical slash downward towards him.

*shik* *thud* "GRAHHH!!" The Demon yelled, as the side of his face and down the length of his chest was sliced.

Gripping the left side of his face, the Demon clawed into its skin to try and withstand the burning sensation coming from his wounds.

Without missing a beat, Mitsuri followed up on her attacks again, whipping her sword forwards at the Demon.

Using the blood from his face, the Demon raised his arms and used his Blood Demon Arts.

'Blood Demon Technique, Karmic Wood of Avici'

*BOOM BOOM* More and more wooden dragon heads grew out from the surrounding grounds and surrounded the Demon.

Grabbing Mitsuri, Hiroto pulled her back as an attack came from above her.

*BOOM* "This just got even more complicated." Hiroto said.

"H-Hiroto, we can't do this. It's too earl-" *whack* Before Mitsuri could finish her sentence with a blushing face, Hiroto hit her head and put her down.

"SCREEEE!!" More screams came from the heads, as all of them swerved past each other and charged towards Hiroto and Mitsuri.
