9. First Battle

The time for the war as come.

I could sense the the tense atmosphere around the area.

Right now, I had ordered most of my troops to hide themselves inside the forest.

I even ordered the ghouls to hide inside the ground to give the the element of surprise.

I stood inside the command center, together with the vampire queen, Restiya, and the Werelion King, Ruwan.

Since the system told me to raise the affinities with the named monsters, I did it and it went quite well for me to befriend them.

At the first day I checked their affinity an it shows 50, which means neutral.

I then spent the little free time I have to get closer with them.

I approached Ruwan first and asked him to drink with me, and that's how I befriend him.

After that night of drinking, the next day he shows up in the command center together with Restiya.

We talk about a lot of topics there but after talking for that long, the system didn't shows any improvement with the affinity bar.

It was only when I talked about the lord good things and glorified him that the girl affinity started to risen up.

And today I checked their affinity again and what surprise me was that both of their affinity to me has reached 90 which mean they trusted me a lot.

Getting back to the war situation, right now I'm waiting for the report from the front.

I have placed some of my troops outside the forest, near the enemy dungeon and ordered them to retreat immediately when the enemy troops came out from the dungeon.

Those troops will be the bait for the enemy troops.

Ruwan had told me about the enemy demon lord personality like.

The [Rock] demon lord, Garock is more brawn rather than the brain type and his fighting style was always a straight forward battle.

Not long after the preparation time over, I already got the message from the scout at the front that the enemy has come out from the dungeon and started to chase the bait.

Hearing that report made me grin evilly.

What made me even more happy was that the report also says that the demon lord Garock himself was the one who lead the attack acompanied by half of his guardian.

So that's mean that he left the other half to defend his dungeon.

I really look forward how he will react after falling into my hands.

At this time, Garock still leading his army with full confidence, but unknown to him, he has already fallen into a trap.

I told the scout to keep watching the enemy movement and to report if there is any change.

Not long after that, another report came in, bringing the news that the enemy troops has entered the trap area.

With that report as my cue, together with Rowan and Restiya, we immediately took off.

When we arrived there, the enemy troops has already in battle with the bait inside the trap area.

Not wanting to waste this chance, I ordered the the A-rank monsters that can use fire to light up the forest.

With the help of the oil, the fire lit up very quickly.

I can see the expression of disbelief on Garock face as he looked his surrounding covered with fire.

It was to late for him to realize that it was actually a trap.

I then ordered my troops to standby outside the fire circle and to attack any of the enemy troops if they somehow got out for the trap.

as for me and the two guardians, we put our focus on the enemy demon lord and his five guardians as we are the only one who can fight them in this team.

Garock then tried to calm his troops but I can't let it happen that easily so I commanded the ghouls that hiding inside the ground to start their surprise attack.

The ghouls then dig their way towards the surface and started to attack the enemy.

Some of the enemy troops that got attacked got shocked and tried to move away from the ghouls first but coincidentally while he tried to move away, he pushed his allies with his back and that made the other troops got pushed closer toward the fire.

Some of the enemy troops start to get pushed out and got burned inside the fire.

To add even more chaos, I then ordered all my A-rank monsters to start attack them using ranged attack or magic.

The result could be said very satisfying as the enemy troops has fully fallen into chaotic state.

Even with Garock trying to pacify the situation, the chaos has blinded his troops mind and made them act to survive instinctively.

As time pass by, the fire started to died out and using that chance, Garock gather his remaining troops and made a forced retreat but I didn't make it easy for them.

I had already put my troops to close the their path to their dungeon so they need to face my troops directly but with their current condition, they will lose a hundred percent.

because of that, Garock made his troops to use another path and get out from this deadly encirclement.

But what he didn't know was that I already predicted that he will do that and by using my troops to keep pressuring him, I made him go to the direction I want which is the poison moat trap.

Because of his personality, Garock lead his troops on the very front and that made him to be the first victim to fall inside the trap.

Since they were moving fast, one after another started to fell inside the trap.

Some of the enemy troops at the front tried to stop but still got pushed by their allies that still unaware of what happening to their allies.

After most of the enemy fell inside the moat, I immediately put an order to my troops to attack the rest that didn't fell inside the moat.

Following my order, the remaining enemy troops got wiped out easily by my troops.

After that, I head there to check the situation myself accompanied with Rowan and Restiya.

Since Garock and his guardians fell first, they got crushed by their own troops weight but I doubt that is enough to kill them.

So I ordered all of my troops that can use ranged attack to start attacking the enemy inside the moat.

The enemy troops can't do anything except embracing their own death.

An hour later, most of the enemy troops has already fallen, with only some of it still alive.

Garock and his guardians only come up from the rumble of his death troops after all the attack is over.

When he looked toward his surrounding, he could only see his troops corpses.

Getting enraged by what he saw, he become blinded by rage and jumped out.

When he reached the surface, he immediately started to attack blindly toward my troops but I didn't let it happen and move out to face him myself.

As for Rowan and Restiya, I let them deal with the enemy guardians with the help of the A-rank monsters.

Blinded by rage, Garock attack pattern became very simple and easy to dodge while in the same time he also become an easy target as he abandoned his defense to put all of his strength in attacking me.

Every time he tried to hit me with his fist, I move away from him and slash him back using the sword that I made from my blood.

I don't know how did I do that, but it just feel natural for me to use it and the blood sword itself also imbued with some curses.

The both of us kept exchanging the same attack over and over again.

Because of all the accumulated damage on his body, in the end Garock fell down but not dead.

I didn't kill him yet as I want to question him first.

I tied him up with magic chains that can seal his power and took him to where the guardians fought.

When I got there, I was shocked a little because I can see 2 of the enemy guardians has already fallen but since I still can sense their aura, it means that they still alive.

When I arrived there, I ordered them to surrender as I have captured their leader.

Looking at the tied up Garock and my blood sword on his neck, the enemy guardians immediately surrendered.

We then tied them all with the same magic chains I used for Garock and brought them back to the camp.

I never thought that the plan I made would be this effective.

The battle didn't even last for 3 hours and I already defeated the enemy.

I told Rowan, Restiya, and all of my troops to rest first to replenish their energy as the battle is not done yet.

We still need to attack the enemy dungeon and destroy their dungeon heart.

After they agreed to my suggestion to rest, they left me alone with the captives.

As for me, I started to squeeze out for the enemy information from them.

I waited till Garock awake and started to question him and tortured him if he refuse to answer my question.

But even after I peeled his skin off, broke all of his teeth, removed all of his nails, cut one of his limb and cooked it in front of him and feed it to an F-rank monster, he still able to persist.

Unfortunately with the help of his [Rock] attribute, that made his body very study and hard to inflict pain.

He was a 2 meter tall demon lord with a lot of tattoos on his bare upper body.

While for the five guardians, 3 of them were males and the other 2 were females.

All of them has humanoid body, and only 2 of them are actually S-ranked as for the rest are A-ranked.

Surprisingly, the S-rank monster were the two females monster.

After some questioning, I found out that the long black haired with a pair of jet black eyes girl race is Queen Araxi, while the for the other girl who has shoulder length cut green hair with a pair of yellow eyes race is a Kirin.

I found the Queen Araxi in tune with my taste so I decided to keep her for the last.

I asked for her name only and I got it after threatened her that I will hurt his lord more than this if she didn't answer me so she gave her name to me herself.

Aridnia, that was her name.

As the others, they are Roack Lizardman, Elder Dwarf, and Adamantite Goatman respectively.

From what I see at the battle, I know that Garock held his troops very dearly and didn't treat him as cannon fodder so since I can't hurt him physically, I will do it mentally then.

Since Garock refused to answer my questions, I stop torturing him and change my target to his guardians instead.

I started by breaking all of his guardians fingers and limbs one after another and I made sure to do it slowly while in the same time I also asked Garock about their plans.

Every time he refused to answer, then I broke a finger and it continues till I broke all of their fingers and limbs.

Of course I leave Aridnia alone.

When I started the torture to the lizardman, Aridnia cried a lot and begged me to stop.

When I started to torture the kirin, Aridnia begged to let her replace the kirin place instead.

Even though she was also as beautiful as Aridnia, she didn't strike my zone so I didn't leave her out like what I did to Aridnia.

I asked Aridnia why did she said that and she answered that she was the first named monster of Garock so she treated the other as her younger siblings and she take it as her responsibility to take care of them.

So I whispered to her some words about betrayal and if she agrees to say it in front of her lord, then I will stop the torture.

I also gave her another choice and that is to be my bitch and let me fucked her in front of her fellow guardians and lord, but she need to do the moving actively by her own choice while in the same time speak how good it is to them.

I await for her answer but first I need to continue my torture.
