Chapter 57: Culver University

Coulson didn't answer Natasha's question, but his expression showed excitement. They had found the man in the Arctic, and more importantly, he still had vital signs.

"Finding the person isn't the problem. The question is, what do we do once we find him?"

Natasha asked, "Look at his enormous fists. One punch could shatter my bones, and splatter my brain matter everywhere."

"You don't have to go into so much detail. Once we find him, Professor Charles will handle it. He should be able to keep Dr. Banner from getting angry."

Coulson said, "Dr. Banner is easy to get along with as long as he's not angry. During his time in Rio, he never transformed."

Natasha sighed and said, "I hope we don't create a big mess this time. The people of New York have only just relaxed for a few months."

In a hospital in New York, General Ross looked at the room filled with wounded soldiers, his expression extremely grim.

These soldiers were all elite members of the army, and among them was Emil Blonsky, his most excellent soldier. Unfortunately, they were no match for the Hulk.

"General Ross, I have a proposal."

Norman, sitting in a wheelchair, spoke to General Ross. "These soldiers are perfect for participating in the super soldier serum experiment."

General Ross frowned, "Your serum hasn't been successful yet."

"It has already been successful, General. Even I myself will inject the serum along with these soldiers."

A few days later, at Culver University, Andrew sat in a chair, enjoying the view of beautiful women on campus while sipping his cold cola.

"Hey, are you here to accompany me or to check out girls?"

Gwen pouted discontentedly. This time, she came as an assistant to accompany Dr. Otto for a lecture at Culver University, and Andrew happened to have nothing to do, so he came along with her.

Andrew pretended and asked, "Are there any other beauties here besides you?"

"Don't try to please me. I'm not that easily fooled."

Though she said so, Gwen's smile betrayed her. Andrew grabbed her hand and said, "Don't misunderstand, I'm not looking at the girls. I'm looking at that poor man over there."

Following Andrew's pointing finger, Gwen saw a man standing by a tree with a sorrowful expression. She blinked and asked, "Isn't he a professor at Culver University? What happened to him?"

"Look over there."

Andrew changed the direction of his finger, and there, a couple was walking towards the library. From their intimate actions, it was clear that they were in a relationship.

Andrew pointed at the delicate girl and said, "That's his girlfriend."

Then, Andrew shifted his finger towards the thin man and continued, "That's his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend."

"I see, the girlfriend ran off with her ex. That's really pitiful."

Gwen suddenly realized, and Andrew smiled and said, "Indeed, he has probably already reported it to the police."

"What's the use of reporting? The police don't care about such things."

Gwen commented, and Andrew said seriously, "The police may not care, but the military will. Let me tell you, soon there will be an armed military force coming here to arrest that ex-boyfriend. It's a grave offense to destroy someone's family."

"Yes, yes, and maybe they'll bring tanks with them."

Gwen didn't believe it, and Andrew smiled without saying anything. He had already recognized the couple—it was Betty, General Ross's daughter, and Dr. Bruce Banner.

"Do you want me to spill the beans about you two-timing?"

Natasha thought maliciously. At that moment, Andrew gave her a meaningful glance. She immediately understood—this was a formidable person she shouldn't mess with.

"Mr. William, you misunderstood. S.H.I.E.L.D. just wants to be friends with you."

Natasha said, "By the way, Mr. William, why are you here?"

"I'm here with my girlfriend."

Andrew said, "If you don't mind, you can leave. Don't disturb us."

"Okay, sorry to bother."

Natasha smiled and walked towards Dr. Banner—this smile was not fake. She was genuinely happy now that Andrew William was here. The situation was stable.

Just then, military vehicles rushed into the university, followed by numerous soldiers jumping off the vehicles.

Gwen was stunned. "Are soldiers really here to apprehend someone? Is stealing someone's lover such a grave crime?"

"Of course, it's a serious crime. You might see tanks soon."

Andrew smiled and pulled Gwen to a safe place to watch the spectacle—the battle between the Hulk and the military.

"Damn, why did the military come?"

Natasha cursed and hurried towards Andrew.

"Betty, run!"

Dr. Banner saw the military arriving and pushed Betty away. He ran toward the library, and just as Betty was about to chase after him, a military vehicle stopped beside her. Her father, General Ross, got out of the vehicle.
