Fear of Popularity

The next day, Nagi showed Himari around. He didn't really mind, as he had sort of befriended Himari, but he was worried about one thing.

As soon as they hit the main corridor, his fears turned into reality.

"Is that the prince?" "What is he doing around walking around with that commoner?" "Who even is she…" "I heard that she forced him into a blood contract"

Rumors. Something that Nagi hated at the palace and was hoping to get rid of at the Academy. But, thanks to Himari, they were back.

"Why do I have the feeling that everybody is watching us?" Himari said

"It's because I'm here with you. A prince like me isn't supposed to be with a commoner like you" Nagi explained

"So, what's a Mage of the end?" Himari just barreld throught to the next question.

"Himari! Not the time!" Nagi was starting to get embarrased

"Why not. Yesterday you fainted before you could tell me anything."

Nagi was about to die of embarassment. He already could hear the rumors.

"Mage of the end?" "What is she talking about?" "He fainted?" "I knew it. They formed a blood contract and for that he fainted!"

Suddently, as Nagi was getting redder and redder, a stuend approched Himari.

"I, Nakata Amaterasu, order you Tanaka Himari, to leave the Prince alone!"

The entire corridor went silent

"Huh? Oh no... you are misunderstanding me, he's just showing me around" Himari said, without a care in the world.

Nagi was about to faint for the second time in two days...
