10 Elements of Heaven

Delaina worked on her computer for a while, she mostly went on online gambling sites, easily hacking into it and subtly increasing the amount of times she had won, or how much money she won altogether.

Eventually, after 1 week, she had earned herself 57,000 USD. All Together, she had about 72,000 dollars.

She was doing perfectly fine until somebody came knocking on the door, saying they were the pizza guy. Naturally because she didn't order anything, she didn't answer the door.

But, this stupid guy kept knocking. A few moments later, he started kicking the door.

Delaina instantly understood that something was wrong.

She swiped her laptop, clothes, money and her newly purchased phone into that same drawstring bag from before, and jumped out the window. Although the apartment was tall, she was only on the third floor, so she landed easily and quickly made her escape.

Even the 'pizza guy' never noticed something was wrong. When he finally busted down the door, he had expected to see a scary monster that disguised itself as a little girl, but instead only saw an empty room.

The occupant had obviously left in a hurry, the chair by the desk was flipped over and there were snacks open on the ground. Feeling a slight breeze, he looked over and noticed the window was open.

Cursing, he pressed a button on his earpiece and reported, "It likely went out the window and is on the run. We're on the third floor, if it can jump that far and keep running, it is likely to be strong. Remember, blue eyes, white hair. Short and sweet looking. Don't fall for it's innocent looks. Find it."

Hearing many acknowledgements coming from the earpiece, he quickly went down the stairs and got into his car. After a few moments, he pulled out a laptop and booted it up. After a few minutes, everybody within the area got an alert on their phones.

This was an Amber Alert for a little girl named Delaina with white hair, blue eyes and 5 years old. The picture of her that they had provided was taken from a high angle. This was likely taken from security cameras or business. It was a fuzzy.

Naturally, because she had a phone now, Delaina also got the alert. Pausing for a moment, she looked up and noticed that many people were looking at her. Smiling slightly, she broke into a run.

Roughly 5 people reported a sighting of her while another took a picture as proof, although it was a little blurry.

The men chasing her were instantly forwarded the reports, the picture taken plus the location sighted quickly led them in her direction.

Running down the street, Delaina purposefully made turns everywhere she could, running in circles at high speeds. She would slow down every now and then so that people would notice her and make a report, leading the people after her there so they got reports of her in two different places at once.

Running down a secluded alleyway, she looked around before using a simple illusion technique. Her hair turned a light brown color, and so did her eyes. Cute freckles appeared along the bridge of her nose and on her cheeks. She was now wearing a blue and black skirt held up by suspenders and a white shirt. Her shoes also suddenly turned white.

Quickly opening her bag, she pulled out, oddly enough, another bag. Quickly dumping all her things from one bag to the other, she threw the old bag in a large dumpster that was next to her.

Walking quickly, she went to a store and bought a jacket and a hat. Putting them on, Delaina felt safer. This was because although she was using an illusion technique, it could only play eye tricks. Cameras could easily capture her real face, and that could be an issue.

She wandered for a bit before getting into a taxi, taking out her phone and playing a recording of her 'mom' telling the taxi driver that it was ok for her to use one by herself, so she decided to drive to the next city.

While doing so, she switched taxi's 3 times before arriving, just to be safe.

Booking a room at the hotel for a day, Delaina flopped onto the bed. She hadn't slept for 3 days prior to the 'pizza guy' attack, nor had she cultivated. As so, with a determined expression, she quickly sat up and began to cultivate.

Sitting in the lotus position, Delaina silently recited the mantra in her head. Tiny sparks of color suddenly appeared around her and began circling her in excitement. These tiny colors of light would dance around for a bit before flowing into her fingertips.

Purple light would go into one finger. This represented the lightning element. Blue would flow into another, this was the water element. Gold would flow into a third finger, this represented the light element, and so on. Each finger had a different colored light, when a new one flowed through her fingertips, it would light up.

For example, if Delaina absorbed a purple (lightning) colored element, it would first appear on her fingertip before slowly going through a vein on her wrist, through her arm. Then it would circle her heart before going slightly below her belly button, and disappearing.

This was where the dantian was located. It stored all of the elemental qi that she had cultivated in different colored pools.

The technique that Delaina cultivated was called the 10 Elements of Heaven. Although the name sounded rather dull, it was the best technique that could possibly be found in the heavens.

Technically, Delaina should not have had access to it. But after a transaction with a certain high god, she was given a copy.

The 10 Elements of Heaven was a godly technique that allows one to cultivate all elements at the same time. If you are to cultivate 2 different elements, you are able to combine them to make new elements, or as called in the heavens, sub-elements.

An example of a sub-element would be the light and dark elements combining to create the shadow element. Another example would be the combination of water and fire, which is steam. Although the element of steam isn't all that helpful, once you add the mental element, you get mental mist. Mental mist allows you to listen and view whatever is within the mist. This is often used to commit crimes.

The ten elements of Heaven are as follows: Lightning (purple), Wood (green), Water (dark blue), Fire (red), Wind (light blue), Metal (silver), Earth (brown), Light (gold), Dark (black), and a special mental ability, used for illusion techniques, memory replacement and mind controlling in colorless, and can only be seen as a small shiny spark when cultivating. (That's 10, one for each finger).

And Delaina had decided to cultivate using this technique not only because of the variety of elements that will be available to her, but also because of the speed of cultivating that was 10 times faster than your average technique.

Thinking of this made Delaina smile.
