True Nature

Alexander took his running stance again and followed the arrow hoping to get some grade II demons now so he can try out his strength limit.

He really shouldn't ask for that... especially when he knows how the world and system treat him.

After running for nearly 5 hours without any single rest he was still not tired. To be exact he didn't feel anything at all!

"Wow... I feel like those heroes from comics."

He giggled softly and suddenly saw a group of those giant boars in front of him which was like 1700 feet (nearly 520 meters) away from him. His perception stat was really high now.

"Ho... oi system what are my chances of winning from them now?"

There was no response from the system which made his forehead veins make an angry mark again because he knows if he speak the system will interrupt him like always.

He stayed quiet for a couple of seconds and slowed his speed down since he didn't want to go straight to them just yet without knowing if he can take down 6 of them or not.

Even after so many seconds when he didn't get any response he finally opened his mouth to say something "Hel-"

Before he could say that as he expected the system screen appeared which made him feel like punching the screen but he kept himself in control.

After the screen disappeared he sighed and nodded his head deciding to try and fight them out.

"I can take them down."

He said to himself and dashed towards them again at his normal speed.

There were six giant boars there. Two of them were sleeping while Two of them were playing. But the last one which looked biggest among them was dragging a body of a giant pig for them to eat.

All the boar's teeth just like the one he saw earlier had an element. The biggest one had Electricity, the sleeping ones had fire and ground, and the playing ones had water and wind.

Seeing this he felt like they were a happy family... but it doesn't matter. He must fight them and kill them since that's how the world has become.

"I won't lie... they look cute together but I must kill them to level up and this is how the world has become... I am sure they killed us, humans, too."

He tried to explain his behavior to his inner self and just stopped when he reached close enough to them.

"First let's see my strength."

He smug "Inventory withdrawal dual sword one." Pair of swords appeared on his hand and he took his stance similar to the last time he used the sword.

"Oi!" He yelled at them "Come here!"

Hearing his voice every single boar got aware of his existence and quickly get up looking at him.

They made some noises and it looked like they were planning something but the ones who were playing earlier just dashed towards them which made the others make a very loud screech as if they were trying to stop them.

But... it was too late. Those two boar seems young and excited which means they won't stop. After he saw they were far enough from the other three he dashed towards them.

He raised his swords and easily slashed through them like better creating shockwaves that followed his swing and gave a good line to the ground.

"Ho... it was hard for me last time to cut their fragile parts but now even their skulls are like a joke to me..."

Covered in a bit of the boar blood he smiled like a psychopath without even realizing it himself.

This was a common reaction from someone who suddenly get used to killing. Humans are the most furious animals out there and if they start to kill they will get carving of doing it more. No matter what's the reason... killing is killing.

This is the true nature of humankind.

"Now... you three shall be killed and turned into experience points too!"

There was a sudden terror in them seeing him like that. Their eyes filled with tears since they had no choice but to run away after seeing how terrifying being he was. He wanted to revenge but their survival instinct was screaming and asking them to run away.

But it was meaningless. Before they could know their heads were cut off by him and now their two parts were resting on the ground.

"Ho... I leveled up four times by killing them? that's too much... are they supposed to be strong demons? well not like I care about it."

He opened his status window again and looked at his stats to see if his stats increased like the system told or not.

[Energy: 30 -> 42]

"Damn... I forgot my stats increase twice as normal."

He smiled to himself and closed the status window before looking at the arrow again "Time to run..." He sighed now getting bored.

He started to run again, following the arrow hoping to get to the kingdom before the time limit because he have no will of dying so soon.

As he requested the world he found himself testing out his new limits on demons he found while following the arrow.

He was easily able to win from them since at max he found grade II demons but now it was getting annoying.

He was fighting monsters every 100 meters from last time making me tired now since he is using too much stamina.

After killing another boar demon he sat on the ground panting. It has been 6 hours since the first time he fought those 6 boars.

He has fought 30 groups of boars by now! with each group having 6 to 8 boars. He was completely exhausted.

"God damn it... I am sorry again! Just not anymore! I can't handle it... it's too much!"

He said loudly apologizing to the world as he cleaned his face which was now covered with the blood of boars.

He leaned against the dead body of the boar and hugged it tightly since he found the far kinda comfy.

"I should start to run again... I might get killed if I dont."

He sighed and slowly get up first walking and then running towards where the arrow was pointing.

This time even after running for 5 hours he did not find any enemy which made him sigh in relief.

Now he could see a giant wall from the distance made up of old-style bricks and looked like those castles wall from the fantasy manhwa he reads and some shows he watches online and on television.

"Finally! I can complete this quest!"

He applied more power to his legs which made a crack appear on the ground and him to be dashed forward.

He suddenly was in front of the large old-style medieval age entrance gate.
