The waiting room was noisy, with the arrival of a train, and the announcement calling for passengers to quickly check their tickets and proceed to the boarding gates.

He was early.

All the bags together weighed about fifty pounds, which was not only heavy but also cumbersome to carry.

"I hope the surveillance cameras aren't watching me."

Lin Baici was worried that walking into the restroom with a bunch of items and coming out with just a backpack might attract the attention of the station's security cameras.
