ONE HUNDRED AND TWO

The run in/ get together session with Darce was cut short because Kay requested my presence. It is tradition that when the other is in need of help, the message is formal.

As a group, we have a code for emergencies. That's how we know whether to hurry or take our time, whether we need to go with gifts, more lime cheer me up bribery or not.

That's how our needs are always catered for. For the most part. Her message was formal and l knew right there that l had to end the conversation with Darce. A conversation l didn't think l would enjoy having but there l was with a stupid smile on my face looking at the man who understood my love for dark humour

But friendships are more important than relationships. Those people are the ones who see you through most things, who know the most about you, the good and the bad because you know that they would never judge you
