CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY SIX

"where to?" Darce asks as he gets into the car, turning the engine on but waiting for us to tell him where to drive to

"this was your idea Darke, you tell him" if it were up to me, l would be on my bed, swallowed up by my blankets watching my favourite scary movies on Netflix but here l am with two grown men who do not know where they want to go

"anything is fine with me" Darke says but that makes me roll my eyes. Typical Darke, l don't know if he thought the car would drive him to whatever location he does not have in mind

"simple minded human, when you were dragging me out of my room and calling Darce where did you have in mind?"

" l didn't think that far, as long as it was out of the house that's all l cared about" he says and l can hear Darce groan from beside him

"let us go to the park and play" he says sarcastically

"that doesn't sound like a bad idea, let us first get my malva pudding and custard then we can go"
