3 The Elements

In the office, Alfred says, "He could have awakened more than two if what you said before is true."

"He definitely has the lightning attribute. Baldr might not have noticed it but Tyr did," says Shura as he puts a folder on the desk with Arthur's name on it.

The folder was too big for a mortal as Alfred takes the folder and goes through it as his eyes open wide once in a while from reading what was inside.

"Interesting right," says Shura as he was quite excited knowing everything inside it.

"We must kill him immediately," says Alfred when suddenly a sword appears on his throat.

"We won't do anything," says Shura as it was his sword on Alfred's throat before continuing, "Or do you want to go against the Laws. You know the punishment for killing a mortal."

"It's Death," says a feminine voice as a woman in black clothes with long black hair and eyes appears in the room.

"Lorena," says Shura as he lowered his sword when he asks, "What are you doing her wife?"

"Have you forgotten the favor you wanted to ask me," says Lorena as she sees Alfred holding the folder she gave Shura.

"Anything interesting in that folder that you had to point your sword at Alfred?" asks Lorena as Shura looks at his wife confused.

"You didn't read the files in it before?" asks Shura as Lorena shakes her head.

"I'm quite busy as the God of Life and Death," says Lorena as she looked at Shura to tell him about it.

"You will find out sooner or later and later would be better for me," says Shura not telling his wife about it when he continues, "And the favor I wanted was to send him into the Three Kingdom Era as well as other Eras like the 100 Year War and the Sengoku Era."

"And you need me for that?" asks Lorena curious since Shura could do that without her help.

"Yes, he is dead, and right now here in this Realm," says Shura as he sat down while taking the folder away from Alfred so Lorena couldn't look into it.

He put it into the upper shelf and closed it before sealing the shelf so no one could open it except for his foster father.

"So you want to keep a secret from me," says Lorena as she walks towards Shura and sits on his lap.

"Just a little one," says Shura as he kisses her.

"Alright," says Lorena as she put a piece of paper on the desk before standing up and continues, "You need him to sign this and he should become a mortal again."

"Thank you very much," says Shura as he hugged his woman.

"Don't thank me yet," says Lorena as she leaves the realm.

"I'm still thinking that we should kill him before he gets too dangerous," says Alfred as Shura begins to laugh when suddenly his aura began to show scaring Alfred.

"I think you forgot who ended the war between all realms and brought peace," says Shura as the aura was showing Shura over corpses covered in blood when suddenly the office door opens wide with Athena looking at them making Shura smile while Alfred wasn't.

In the meantime, Arthur was training with Athena when she says, "Now that you awakened your Qi we should find out what your elements are."

"Elements?" asks Arthur as Athena nods.

"Yes, everyone has two inborn elements that show themselves once you break through and attain your Qi. Humans mostly have Earth and Water or Earth and Fire," says Athena as she puts her hand back on Arthur's back while saying, "Concentrate, it should be easier than opening the door."

Arthur begins to concentrate as he tries to feel the elements inside him. Athena was also trying to help Arthur when she suddenly feels Lightning running in Arthur's body while thinking, 'That's quite rare for a human.'

Then Earth appears next making Athena feel that everything was going as it should when suddenly a third element appeared.

'That can't be Water is also his element,' thinks Athena as suddenly a black-haired man appears and pushes her out of Arthur's body.

"How is that possible!" shouts Athena as she stood up. She then looks at Arthur and sees the eight elements floating around when Athena leaves Arthur alone running into the Palace to talk to Shura and Alfred.

She opens the office doors and sees both one was smiling while the other wasn't and she asks, "What a monster have you given us to train?"

"He is just a normal human," says Shura as Athena was now really angry.

"A human my ass. If he was a human he wouldn't be able to have all elements in his body," says Athena making now Alfred take his halbert out when Shura had his sword back on Alfred's throat.

This development shocked Athena as Shura says, "Stand down."

"We need to kill him now before he gets stronger," says Alfred when another sword appears on his hand.

"Let go of the halbert and calm down. Did something else happen?" asks Shura as Athena forgot about the black-haired man from the shock that she shook her head.

"So he has all eight elements. It wouldn't be the first time one appears. There was Arthur Pendragon and many more that time has forgotten because they only unlocked two instead of all," says Shura as he also had all elements.

"You should return and not tell the others about it," says Shura as he put pressure on Athena.

"I understand," says Athena as she was ringing for air when the pressure disappears and she takes deep breathes. Shura then throws a book at her.

"Good now return to train him with the help of that book. You only have one more year," says Shura as Athena leaves the room.

Alfred puts his weapon away as he says, "If he remembers who he is-."

"I will deal with it," says Shura when Alfred gets angry.

"If you say so," says Alfred as he storms of angry from office after saying, "If he kills you it's your own damn fault."

"He worries too much," says Shura to himself as he sits down while smiling. He takes the folder back out of the shelf to look into it when he says, "I wonder where he got Light and Darkness from. He never had it in his former lives."

Shura began to investigate Arthur again to find it out while Athena returned to Arthur who was still meditating with all eight elements flying around him in harmony.

"Arthur time to wake up," says Athena as suddenly all eight elements hide again when Arthur opens his eyes and Athena says, "I have to say you shocked me twice today."

"Really?" asks Arthur not knowing what she meant with twice.

"Yes, the first time is quite obvious but the second is that you control all eight elements. Let me list them for you," says Athena as eight orbs made out of each element appear in front of them when she says, "There they are. Can you name them?"

"Light, Darkness, Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, Lightning and Metal," says Arthur counting the elements.

"That's right," says Athena while nodding as she continues, "They have their weaknesses and strengths. Light and Darkness are the rarest even between Gods and Immortals. It quite self-explanatory that they counter each other."

Athena separated the Light and Darkness orbs from the other six orbs as the Fire orb stood in front of her and she says, "Fire is strong against Wind and Metal but weak against Water and Earth while Lightning is neutral."

"Water is strong against Fire and Metal and weak against Lightning and Earth while Wind is neutral."

"Lightning is strong against Earth and Water and weak against Wind and Metal while Fire is neutral."

"Wind is strong against Earth and Lightning and weak against Fire and Metal while Water is neutral."

"Metal is strong against Lightning and Wind and weak against Fire and Water while Earth is neutral."

"And Earth is strong against Fire and Water and weak against Lightning and Wind while Metall is neutral."

"There are still subcategories that you will be learning on your path but I will teach you everything I can until it is time to part," says Athena as Arthur nods.

"Good then let's begin," says Arthur motivated as he turns to Athena and asks, "What are my two elements?"

"You remember that I told you that you scared me twice," says Athena as Arthur nods when Athena continues, "It seems that you have more than two elements. Normally it would take centuries to unlock a third element but it seems that you already have all eight unlocked. That will make your training even harder from today on."

"What do you mean?" asks Arthur as he thought simply of training one element first before training the next when Athena sighs from already knowing what he is thinking about.

"You don't understand that you can't just train one element after the other. Your body would explode from the disbalance of one element being higher than the other. When we Gods unlock a third element we reset all former cultivation and begin to strengthing everything back up," says Athena as Arthur opens his eyes wide in shock.

"That means I have to level up everyone in one go every time," says Arthur as Athena nods.

"Exactly," says Athena as she continues, "That's why most of the Immortals only have three elements and Gods four elements. Only in rare cases, you can unlock all elements in one go. But you are lucky that Shura was prepared for that problem giving you this book to learn from."

Athena hands over the book and Arthur looks at it and reads the cover 'How to Cultivate all Eight Elements written by Shura'.

"He wrote the book," says Arthur surprised when Athena sighs.

"Of course he, his wife, and the current Godking are the only ones with all eight elements. It's no wonder that he wrote the book," says Athena as she was holding her hand against her forehead while her head shakes before saying, "Just read it and you will see how fast you will learn while I oversee everything so you don't die."

Arthur nods as he began to read the book before starting to cultivate his Qi while Athena was watching.
