Dangerous Love it is!

I heard a knock on the door. I knew it was Amanda. She opened the door and came in a with a smile and hugged me tight.

" I love you Li." She screamed as she kissed me.

She looked so happy. I held her cheeks with both of my hands and moved closer.

" Amanda, I need to say something." I started.

All the brightness and excitement faded away from her lips.

" Let's end this."

She looked 'dead' . Nothing at all on her face.

" I know it will be really tough for both of us but, this is dangerous Amanda, we are in a dangerous love. You killed a person for me , this is bad for both of us."

" Ya, I killed a person for you. That's how much I love you Li." She talked with a straight face.

" You don't murder people to show your love Amanda. Get back to your senses." I raised my voice. What she said now, only made me love her a little more less.

" I was there when you needed me. I cleaned up after you and if I have to do that again for you, I will Amanda. But we can't be in a relationship. I don't want to bury more people."

Her eyes were wet and red. But we are not meant to be, it's sad but true.

"Amanda, I sacrificed myself for you. And I am done sacrificing myself." I hate when those little guys roll down my eyes when I express myself.

" But I ...

" Love you? Is that what you are going to say?" She spoke in between.

I stood there just looking at her without uttering a single word.

" You loved me Li, but you were never 'in' love with me. You loved me to prove yourself loyal. You loved me to change me. But, you were never in love with me. You didn't do all those burying stuff because you loved me, you did so that one day you could name it out." As the words surged, her voice intensified.

She spoke and walked out of the room, slamming the door. I don't regret my decision. We are just not 'right'.
