Chapter 75 Party at Goblins

'I thought this was supposed to be to be a regular high school party' I thought as I walked down a literal red carpet, cameras flashed and news crews filmed all those who entered the party hosted by Harry Osborn.

As I walked to the front of the Oscorp building to the double doors two large security guards opened the door for me I was about to hand my invention, but they motioned me to go forward so I did past the doors I looked into a sea of people standing in line to multiply elevators. Each had security who were scanning inventions I was about to get in line when I was stopped by a lovely woman in what could be argued a striper outfit witg the Oscorp logo on her side.

Lady: "Max Draco you are on the V.I.P list if you would follow me." I surged and followed her to another elevator this one with no line the doors closed once I entered and I watched through the glass elevator multiple floors of nothing but partying, eating, drinking, and dancing giant office rooms turned into private dance rooms or kitchens I was impressed with the amount of effort.

I felt the elevator slow and then come to a stop as the doors opened, I was first hit by the smell of food being cooked then the sound of music and the thump of the beat. walking out I saw I was on what was a floor overlooking the main hall where the DJ and the main dance floor were.

Kitty: "Max you made it!" just as I was looking for a spot to sit I turned to see Kitty Pryde in a blue dress holding a can of sprite a smile on her face.

"I told you I would and I'm starting to like my decision you look good," she blushed and giggled.

Kitty: "Thanks you look good to love the new dreads" she circled me inspecting my new outfits, before giving a nod of approval then took my hand "come on I'll introduce you to the rest of my friends."

Being pulled along I looked around the room at the other guest using [Observation] I found that most of the people in the room were either from midtown high or young celebrities or rich business kids. but before I could dwell any farther on it Kitty came to a stop.

Kitty: "Max I would like to introduce the rest of my personal friends you've already met Jean, and Evan" I give them a nod "The goth girl we call Rogue and the blue guy is Kurt"

Rogue: "Nice to meet you" she wore a full black dress with a raven or crow design that covered all of her body, but allowed the skin to show on her shoulders.

Kurt: "it's a pleasure to meet you I have so many questions about zilla if you have the time?" I shrugged Kurt was disguised as a normal human and with a quick [observation] I found how.

"Well since you all introduced yourselves my name is Max Draco future CEO of Damage Control and namer of giant monsters" I gave a grandiose bow which got a giggle from the girls and a smile from everyone else.

After introductions the party went on I didn't feel like dancing so I tried to find a seat at a table to sit and get some food, but they had other plans and I was pulled to the main dance floor going downstairs I was handed a V.I.P wrist band. Down at the dance floor, the energy was erratic even though my form of dancing was head bobbing and avoiding oncoming collisions with other people, but as I bobbed and weaved to the rhythm of the music I noticed Rogue lose her balance.

"Whoa careful there don't think you want to fall on this floor would ruin your dress" I easily caught her before she fell into anyone making sure to avoid skin contact.

Rogue: "Sorry just lost my balance for a second guess I should sit down for a sec," we made our way to a table and sat down. "Thanks for the help you know Kitty said you were a loner type, but you know how to be a gentleman," she said as a waitress came and brought us glasses of some kind of drink.

"I try but with a nickname like Rouge I can't help but think we're cut from the same cloth," she took a swig of her water and started looking at the dance floor. Following her gaze I saw Jean coming towards us with a smile on her face, she wore a simple green dress her red hair now tied into a ponytail.

Jean: "Wow this party is something how are you guys holding up?" she sat down next to me putting me in between the two as both sat on my immediate right and left.

"So far so good just taking a break" I didn't mention Rogue's fall no point in telling her that detail, Jean noded her head but then a question came to mind "So why is Scott not here partying with you guys?"

Both girls' reactions told me there was a story as Rogue giggled and Jean sighed and shook her head, I raised an eyebrow at the two hoping for an answer.

Jean: "Let's just say Scott has other responsibilities to attend to," she said taking A drink from a waiter Rogue rolled her eyes and we fell into a comfortable silence well as silent as an active party can be as we left the dance floor and head back up to the V.I.P to get some good food.

(Sometime later)

I sat up with a jolt and regretted it immediately as my head hurt suddenly and I shut my eyes as morning light came through the semi-closed currents of the window.

"ugh. . .what happens last night?" looking around I noticed I wasn't in my room or a room at night hawk island "where am I?" the room was big with a large bed 'is this Osborne's bed?' I tried to get up but I felt a weight on my lower half and my hand I felt a strange sensation on my hand.

". . . . . . ."

[Good morning sir I see you have enjoyed last night's festivities]

"Tron what the hell happened last night" I whisper yell hoping I didn't do what I think I did, then I felt a shift under the covers on my right, I sat there stiff and still but nothing else moved.

[You don't remember?]

I shack my head 'Last thing I remember is ordering food in the V.I.P area witg Rogue and Jean after that nothing.' next memory after that is I woke up here.

[Oh my that does explain a lot of your and everyone else's actions last night]
