Chapter 8: Saiyan
--------
My words seemed to have calmed the concerns of most of the League members, but thanks to my Evil Ki, I could clearly sense that some still harbored doubts about me.
Not that I was surprised. Doomsday was a living catastrophe, a force that had proven beyond a doubt that it didn't matter if you were an alien or the son of a god—if you bled, you could die.
For beings who were considered the apex of their respective races, being defeated so easily must have left deep scars in their memories. Scars that wouldn't fade until their dying day.
But that was their problem, not mine. They should feel lucky they managed to survive at all, considering I knew all too well just how many worlds Doomsday had obliterated.
And trust me, it wasn't a small number.
"I appreciate your good intentions, but that doesn't solve the issue," Batman spoke, his voice as steady and resolute as ever. "John, do you think you could resolve this by entering his mind and erasing all the memories of Doomsday?"
Before Martian Manhunter could answer, I stepped in. "No. No one's getting into my head." My tone was flat but left no room for further discussion.
Batman fixed me with his ice-blue gaze. "By doing this, you're not helping anyone, Typhon. It's the fastest way to resolve this situation."
I couldn't help but chuckle, a sound that echoed awkwardly in the tense atmosphere of the room. "You think I didn't consider that when I came here with Power Girl?" I asked, meeting his gaze without flinching. "It won't do any good. I see Doomsday's memories like a documentary, but that doesn't mean it would be the same for anyone else."
Batman narrowed his eyes. "What exactly are you trying to say?"
"Simple," I replied. "If the Martian enters my mind, he'd have to interact with those memories. And do you really think that's a good idea? Most of them are filled with thousands of deaths... and the brutal evolution of Doomsday."
The room fell silent for a moment as everyone tried to process what I had just said. My words hadn't only shaken Batman, but the other members of the Justice League as well.
Superman exchanged a glance with John Jones, as if hoping the Martian had a better solution, but the blue Boy Scout seemed unsure about any quick fix to a problem involving Doomsday.
With his calm and wise tone, Martian Manhunter spoke, as one would expect from someone of his age and experience. "Typhon is correct. Entering his mind would expose me to the memories of Doomsday, and those could be too devastating even for me. The risk of suffering severe psychic damage is too great."
Batman stayed silent for a few seconds, reflecting on those words. He knew better than anyone that a threat like Doomsday, even confined to someone else's mind, couldn't be taken lightly.
After hearing my revelation, Power Girl spoke up with a suggestive tone. "I might have a solution for you. On Krypton, there's a martial art that could help with your situation."
Superman raised an eyebrow, showing immediate interest. "Are you talking about Torquasm-Vo and Torquasm-Rao?"
Honestly, I had no idea what they were talking about. I wasn't exactly an expert on the intricacies of comic lore, and these martial arts weren't exactly common knowledge. But my curiosity was piqued.
"Exactly," Power Girl confirmed, her tone becoming more explanatory as she noticed my confused expression. "They're two martial arts that focus primarily on mental discipline."
"Do you really think they'd be useful to me?" I couldn't help but ask, given my skepticism toward something like that.
"Yes, or at least I believe they could be very useful for your current situation," she replied confidently. "For the first one, I'm not an expert, so you'd have to learn it from the recorded data we have available. However, I know Torquasm-Vo well enough and can teach you what I know."
Her words sparked curiosity among the others. Superman nodded, listening intently. "Torquasm-Rao," Power Girl explained, "is a technique that allows Kryptonians to enter a state that not only enhances their strength and agility but also shields them from psychic attacks by creating a mental barrier that protects them from external influences."
I was intrigued by the prospect of a martial art offering such advantages, but Power Girl didn't stop there. "Torquasm-Vo," she continued, "is purely mental. It allows two practitioners to shift their battle to a mental plane, waging a psychic war against one another. It's a highly refined form of mental combat that can help you control and manage your emotions and reactions, even in situations of extreme stress."
Her explanations were straightforward, and I couldn't help but be impressed by what she was saying. It was exactly what I needed, especially since Torquasm-Rao seemed to offer concrete solutions to my problems of emotional control and management.
I could sense that this approach might actually make a difference. Plus, it gave me a way to fight a Kryptonian without needing to destroy an entire planet.
"So," I asked, trying to mask my eagerness for battle under a calm demeanor, "where do I start? How can I access these teachings?"
Power Girl smiled, as if anticipating my question. "We can arrange training sessions with me for Torquasm-Vo. For Torquasm-Rao, you'll need to consult the recorded data and practice based on the information available."
Superman added with a tone of approval, "This might be exactly what you need to manage your situation, and it could give you the mental tools to handle the psychological challenges that come with Doomsday's rage."
Honestly, I liked the idea of proper training and the possibility of honing my abilities. I could feel that I had so much untapped potential in this body that it would be foolish not to use it.
The Kryptonian martial arts seemed like the perfect key to overcoming my struggles and progressing in a way I had never imagined possible—a good outcome for me.
Not only that, but it would also help me control the power of the Great Ape, eventually allowing me to reach the strength I had in my previous incarnations.
Unfortunately, the questions weren't over yet, as everyone's eyes remained fixed on my tail, which was swaying behind me. I wasn't doing much to hide it either.
"Since no one seems to be asking the most important question, I guess it's up to me. What other DNA have you been combined with?" The Flash asked, staring directly at my tail. "Don't tell me it's Gorilla Grodd? A metahuman? Or maybe some ancient alien?"
"Alien. They used the body of a Saiyan as the base, one of the most powerful warrior races in existence." The words came out of my mouth with surprising ease, enough to surprise even me. Yet, they reflected exactly what I thought, influenced by my memories.
But not everyone seemed to agree with my statement...
I heard a scoff from the side. I turned to see Hawkgirl watching me with an amused expression. She cracked her knuckles as her fierce eyes gleamed provocatively through the slits in her helmet.
"Do you have a problem with my statement?" I asked, my tone calm, but my Evil Ki started leaking from my body, enough to make the entire space station tremble.
I didn't want to be seen as a threat to be eliminated, but that didn't mean I would passively accept such blatant provocations, especially from someone so clearly beneath me. I had no intention of letting myself be humiliated without fighting back.
And I was certainly no tame dog, ready to follow their every command or bend to their every request without standing my ground. I had my pride, and I wasn't about to let anyone manipulate or subdue me without consequence.
After all, they relied on their spiked maces, forged from Nth metal, which I remembered having a wide range of abilities—from nullifying gravity to granting superhuman strength and various forms of resistance.
But that wouldn't be enough against me. Not with this new body of mine, which made me feel stronger, more resilient, as if nothing could stop me. Every fiber of my being hummed with power, and I was ready to prove it.
But she didn't seem at all frightened by my words, on the contrary, she seemed aroused as she got up from her chair to show off her big ass, which was not hidden by her batting suit and every movement of her hips made it even juicier.
Her body, clearly strong and well-defined beneath her armor, moved with an almost seductive fluidity, while her green eyes never left mine, gleaming with challenge and provocation.
With a decisive motion, she gripped her spiked mace, lifting it effortlessly. The head of the weapon crackled with electricity, sending out sparks that briefly illuminated her face.
Each step she took toward me was another provocation, bringing us closer and closer until she stopped just inches away.
Her smile was dangerously amused, almost as if she had been waiting for this moment for a long time. She stood before me, chest raised in confidence, as if she had already anticipated the battle between us.

The other members of the League watched, shaking their heads, seemingly resigned. It was clear that this behavior wasn't new for her, and they appeared ready to step in if things started going south for her.
But in that moment, thanks to my Evil Ki, I knew clearly that she wasn't joking. She wanted to fight. The desire to challenge me was palpable, and for me, that was more than enough to proceed.
The tension was thick, as her eyes remained locked on mine, waiting for a reaction. Her provocation was clear, and so was her message: she wouldn't accept a calm response from me.
"Do you want to test me?" I asked the woman, who replied with a smile.
Before she could say anything, a voice intervened, "As educational as it might be for us to see the limits of Typhon's body, now's not the time." It was Superman, appearing beside us. With a firm hand, he lowered Hawkgirl's spiked mace, forcing her to stop.
Hawkgirl looked annoyed, and I couldn't help but feel the same. Superman noticed our glares and responded with an ironic smile. "It's his first day here," he said, trying to calm things down. "How about we let him get familiar with the station and with us before... destroying everything?"
Hawkgirl's mace emitted a few more sparks before she slowly lowered her guard. "Fine, just for today," she said, holstering her weapon at her side, though not without casting me one last defiant glance. "We'll continue another day."
I had to admit it was hard not to jump into combat immediately. Every cell in my body urged me to react, but with great effort, I managed to keep my calm.
"Sure," I replied, as Hawkgirl and I returned to our seats. But I knew that wasn't the end. The tension between us was palpable, and the confrontation we had just avoided was only postponed.
However, at that moment, I had other things to focus on.
"What did you say this warrior race was called again?" Batman's cold, cutting voice abruptly brought me back to reality. His tone left no room for misinterpretation—he hadn't liked what I'd said earlier, and he wanted clear answers.
"They're called Saiyans," I answered, trying to maintain my calm despite not liking his tone much.
Batman raised an eyebrow, clearly puzzled by my words—not that it was a surprise. "Saiyans? Never heard of them."
At that point, Green Lantern, who had been checking his power ring, turned toward Batman with a look of disapproval. "There's no race by that name in the Ring's records," he stated firmly.
"They do not appear in your records because they do not belong to your universe," I explained. "They exist beyond the Source Wall... Cadmus found a spaceship with the body of a Saiyan, which they used as a base to create me"
The room fell silent again. The tension among the Justice League members was palpable, but there also seemed to be a growing respect for my determination to prove who I truly was.
"Is there anything else we should know?" Batman asked, rubbing his temples, clearly processing all the information.
"How's your shielding against radiation?" My next question seemed to go completely unnoticed, or rather, I didn't fully understand what radiation was, so the two were now having a conversation that mostly went over my head.
"Good enough that any harmful radiation can't breach our walls," Superman responded quickly.
"What about Blutz Waves?" I pressed further.
"Blutz... waves? Never heard of them, so I couldn't say." Superman shook his head, apparently unfamiliar with the wave I had mentioned.
"Mhm. They're a variant of light that's generated when starlight is reflected off the surface of an astral body. Normally, these waves don't do anything, but... well, in my race, the Saiyans, they react to them in a rather strange way," I explained, trying to describe my transformation into a Great Ape without going into too much detail.
"In... which way?" Power Girl tilted her head, looking at me. She seemed genuinely curious, wanting to learn more about me, and to be fair, all of this was new to me as well.
"Well, if I'm exposed to these Blutz Waves through my eyes, my power grows at an alarming rate, and I end up losing control after undergoing a temporary transformation," I shrugged, revealing a secret about my new race that honestly didn't bother me much, considering my abilities with Evil Ki.
"So... you're telling us we need to keep you away from direct moonlight?" Diana questioned me this time, and I had to nod.
"Specifically, a full moon. But yes, prolonged exposure to Blutz Waves would have disastrous consequences, at least for now, since I don't have full control over my instincts," I admitted, as that was the harsh truth for the moment.
"Thanks for letting us know. We could've ended up in a pretty tough situation if we weren't informed," Superman nodded. It was strange hearing those words from him, considering I was supposed to be the embodiment of his greatest enemy.
But I couldn't help wondering what "going berserk" would actually entail in this new body…
In my previous incarnation, I had often lost control in my youth. Uncontrolled rage was a constant companion, a devastating force that erupted at the slightest provocation.
Yet, over time, I had managed to tame that fury within. It hadn't disappeared entirely, but I had learned to control it. Even when anger threatened to overwhelm me in battle, I could keep it at bay and use it for my own purposes, preventing the fights from becoming too dull.
But now, with this new body, everything felt different. Every fiber of my being seemed charged with immense power, as if the rage was ready to unleash itself in ways I had never experienced before.
If I ever lost control, there would be nothing that could stop me, and this entire universe would be doomed.
