6 Chapter 6: Kent

Faora, who was piloting the ship, looked at Rao sitting on a black throne with closed eyes.

She wondered about Rao's decisions. She knew that those were the best decisions a commander could make; she knew Rao is a different man than Zod.

Zod is stubborn, arrogant, rude, and vindictive. Because of these characteristics, his judgments are not accurate.

Faora understands very well what Zod is like.

Unlike Zod, Rao acts more intelligently; he has a unique charisma. Especially with the new red hair, added to his charisma.

Faora doesn't hate a rational commander like Rao. Still, in her personal opinion, she wanted to fight, she wanted to have fun on the battlefield.

Faora thought that if Rao wasn't present and Zod was the commander, Zod would have attacked Earth without thinking twice.

She does not know what the result of this attack would be, but she had a feeling that the attack would be a failure. That presentiment got stronger when she saw that civilizations on this planet can hide from Kryptonian technology.

...

"We arrived." Faora said.

I opened my eyes and look at Faora.

"Faora, activate the panoramic view."

"Yes, Sir." Faora clicked on a few buttons on the pilot panel.

A few seconds later, the ship's floor disappeared, and I can see through the ship. "Faora, did you activate invisibility?"

"Yes."

"Good."

What is it? Is that a vehicle? Their societies seem to be chaotic; they have no social organization.

I see a man walking on the street with the sign closed; from what I understand, that is a sign to be respected, but some individuals did not respect the laws. However, it seems that there is no punishment for these individuals.

This is very chaotic; how can they live with such a mess?

This vehicle is expelling gases through that tube, isn't it harmful? Why doesn't anyone do anything about it?

The level of technology on this planet is lower than I imagined. They still use technology that harms the environment ... Barbarians who don't know how to take care of their own planet.

I shake my head several times to erase these thoughts. I cannot maintain my prejudices against other races. That prejudice will only cloud my judgment.

Sometimes it's hard to dissociate yourself from what you've learned.

I just keep watching these humanoids while I wait for the Kryptonian baby to appear.

I look at Faora for a moment. "What do you think of them? I want your honest opinion. "

"Weak, barbaric creatures that don't learn from their mistakes." Faora replied.

I nod, I also agree with her thought, but ...

I look at a woman who was looking after a baby while smiling gently, 'They have the feeling that the Kryptonians have lost over time.'

Only a few Kryptonians can show affection, love, and kindness. My instructor Alura was one of those Kryptonians.

...

"Martha, I think you bought too many things ..." Jonathan Kent commented a little uncomfortably when he saw his van flooded with baby products.

"Babies consume a lot of things, everything is fine!" Martha spoke with a smile as she held a baby in her arms.

Jonathan approached the truck and picked up a toy dinosaur. "For God's sake, Martha. He's still a baby, he doesn't need that. "

"It's all right! It will grow! "

"..." Jonathan sighed. He is crying silently inside. All the finances he saved to increase his farm was spent on baby products. He is wondering what he did wrong in life to deserve this.

"Come on, Jonathan!, Clark needs to rest. " Martha said as she got into the truck.

Jonathan looked at the baby in his wife's arms and nodded.

He got into his truck and started the engine; soon after, he left for his farm.

Arriving at the farm, Jonathan got out of the car and unloaded baby products at home. Finishing doing so, he closed the door and walked towards Martha, who was playing with little Kal-El.

The moment he went to sit next to Martha, someone knocked on the door.

"Are you expecting a visit?" Martha asked.

"Hmm, I'm not expecting visitors." Jonathan thinks about it and doesn't remember waiting for someone.

Jonathan got up and walked towards the door. He was faced with a tall man with long red hair and blue eyes upon opening the door. He had a stoic expression on his face. A noble air surrounded his body, but what surprised Jonathan was the futuristic armor that the man was wearing.

"Hello, we came to pick up our son."

Jonathan doesn't know how to respond.

"Hmm. Is the translator not working? " The man asked in a strange language to a woman who was next to him.

Jonathan looks to the side and sees a woman with futuristic armor. She has blue eyes and black hair. She has a very proportional body, but what Jonathan noticed most is the cold look.

Unlike the man who had his face exposed for everyone to see, the woman wore a transparent helmet on her head.

"It is functioning normally, Sir. What did you mean by our son? " The woman responded with a language in which Jonathan did not know.

"I'm just acting in that role, you are my wife and the baby is my son. Just stick with what I planned. " The man says something to the woman.

"Yes, sir."

"Can we get in?" The man asked suddenly.

"Huh ...? Yes ...? " Jonathan answered unconsciously.

Rao and Faora entered the Kent house and looked around with curiosity.

Faora found the house in bad taste.

Rao takes a deep breath and thinks. 'The air on this planet is better than Krypton.'

"Who are you!?" Martha screamed as she held the baby protectively.

Rao looks at the woman and thought. 'It looks like this will take ...'

....
