Revelations

-Lucas pov -

I stood in the middle of my garden, it was a recent addition to my backyard before the invasion happened. I love this area, the smells, the sounds, and the overall ambiance are calming.

I smiled to myself as I reached down and touched a blooming flower, the smell hit my nostrils as I inhaled deeply. The flowery soft sweet scent calmed my overthinking mind.

"Lucas!" a shout broke my concentration as my sister came running up to me

"Lucas, why haven't I seen you!" she yelled at me with a scowl plastered across her face

"I was so worried you were hurt!" she cried into my chest as she hugged me

"I'm sorry but, I'm fine" I replied with a small smile

She worried me the most, especially with these new powers she has.

Thea is an interesting person, she is highly impulsive and loves to feel a thrill. So her getting superpowers could definitely go bad in a sense of things.

"Why were you ignoring me?" she asked letting go of the hug

"I overworked myself trying to come up with ways I could help during the invasion and I got sick, I was in no condition to meet anyone," I replied with a small embarrassed chuckle

"Reall?" she asked with a brow raised

"Why would I lie about this," I said rolling my eyes

"Your right," she said with a sigh, "just don't do it again, we worry," she added

"We?" I asked

She shrugged, "Oliver and me. Mom was more mad than anything else that you were ignoring everyone,"

"Of course," I said with a small laugh

Thea laughed along with me and soon we both turned silent as we stood in the garden. She looked at me and sighed I could tell a lot was on her mind.

"Something up?" I asked worriedly

She looked at me and appeared to be thinking of something. I decided to skim her surface thoughts.

'Should I tell him about my powers?'

'No, he won't understand'

'Yeah maybe when I practice them more'

"No, I'm fine," she replied with a brilliant smile

"Okay, well if you need any help I'm here," I said nudging her shoulder

"I know,"

-break-

Thea left after a couple of hours, I had a light snack, and now I'm back in the garden. I told Dembe I need some alone time for right now so we aren't sparing like we usually do at this time.

A lot is on my mind but, predominantly the interaction I had with whoever that man was when I was 'knocked' out.

I couldn't tell if it was God or the presence and I couldn't tell if he thought me an enemy or just an interesting little vampire.

[flash back]

"HOW DID YOU ACCESS MY DOMAIN!" he roared

I found my voice, "I read," I rasped out

"Huh? Read" the man said in astonishment

He then gained a thoughtful almost wistful look, his eyes snapped open suddenly, "read? Hahhahaa! That's right that's right,"

"What's right?" I asked curiously hoping he forgot the original problem he had with me

"Shush," he said not even glancing in my direction

And suddenly I couldn't talk.

After a while, he looked down at me, "how curious, how very peculiar if I do say so myself,"

Like a switch was flipped I could talk again, "what is?"

"You are, can't you understand my words?" he replied while looking at me like I was an idiot

"I'm afraid I don't understand," I said after some thought

He hummed gently then laughed, "I see, maybe you will one day figure out what I mean,"

I nodded, my thoughts were running rampant trying to figure out what to do.

"Ah, young one I should let you know if you decide to read passages from books like this you should at least be strong enough to survive," he told me with a small playful smirk

"I'm dead?" I asked in astonishment

"No, which is curious isn't it? You should be your body didn't have enough magic to summon the wrath of God. I didn't save you, and I know others didn't,"

"Then how did I survive?" I asked nervously about hearing the answer

"I don't know," he shrugged

"Huh?"

"I said I don't know," he repeated shrugging as if the statement wasn't insane in itself

"Can you-"

"Goodbye," he cut me off just as a bright flash of light filled my vision

[flashback end]

I sighed once more my head rested in my palms, I don't know what to make of the conversation. Many would see nothing of use or importance but I saw some very important things.

One, he didn't know how I did it which is surprising considering the two beings I think he might have be both should be omniscient and know everything or mostly everything. Considering circe knew my magic I would think whatever being that was would as well.

Two, once I said a very vague explanation of my magic he seemed thoughtful then shocked than pleased. Which was weird because I don't think my magic is that special, maybe versatile and strong but, he seemed genuinely happy and excited about my magic.

As if he saw his favorite toy.

Three, when he called me interesting the look he gave me was weird. Uncomfortable even it was as though he was looking into my very soul stealing my secrets and then laughing about them.

The whole situation was weird.

I looked at my little 'student' and couldn't help but laugh inside my mind as he struggled to keep his top speed.

The whole invasion incident was new a lot was new actually. It seems I may have messed up when I came back in time, it's too late to go back now I'm already making steady progress here.

The Flash will never amount to anything in this timeline.

For I am his reverse.

He sees me as an ally, he sees me as hope right now.

I can't wait to reverse it all to despair, hopelessness, and finally death.

-flash pov -

As I ran on the treadmill and Wells was beside me watching my progress I had to suppress the frown that threatened to form on my face.

Something about him is rubbing me wrong, something about him is making me feel as if I can't trust him.

It's like something tugging at my mind telling me he is no good.

I need to trust my instincts even though I feel as if I'm just overreacting.
