DC: Lotus

Congrats, he said. Superior Kryptonian, he said. I just wanted to die, not get reincarnated into a fictional world that has a continuation of a treetrunk pattern. So what if I can fly? So what if my punches are powered by the sun? And so what if my new body is a perfect mix of a conquering race of a justice league ripoff and the said Justice League which was seemingly more brutal now? And so what if the people needed someone to save them from death? .... .... .... Damn it. ___ I don't own anything.

Chapter Two

"Your cells can absorb sunlight and store it, your muscles are denser than normal humans along with your bones... If what you say is true, you will gain the same powers as Superman."

I looked at the analysis of myself with interest, and I didn't understand anything about it.

"Though, it's awfully convenient that you don't remember much else."

Okay, now, pull off some bullshit out of your ass.

Scratching the back of my head, I sighed with annoyance, never liked skeptical people, they always question you, this guy... This guy is paranoya personified.

"You don't seem to understand how Cryopods work, I don't know what happened when I was traveling here, but the pod must have been damaged when you get suspended in one, there is a chance that the signals in your brain get messed up, so I don't know what to tell you, I don't even remember my damn name."

I crossed my arms and released a sigh, leaning on one of the many desks that were present in a cave, then as if I just noticed something odd, I looked back at Batman with a raised eyebrow.

"Who's Superman? And what kind of name is that?"

Batman just stared at me for a moment and turned back to the computer, completely ignoring my question. In response, I grabbed a device that was on the desk and tossed it at him.

Unsurprisingly, he grabbed it out of the air and placed it on the desk that was in front of him.

"How old are you?"

Rolling my eyes, I stood straight and walked over to him, observing the giant screen.

"Technically, probably older than most, physically... Maybe seventeen?"

I was unsure about that too, How old was I actually?

"What do you intend to do now that you are here?"

I'll be honest, These sound like commands, rather than questions. And I still couldn't find the damn exit to get out of here.

"...Well, if your government finds out that I am here, and if they are anything like mine... they will most likely try to dissect me, use me as a weapon for the military, or even make clones of me... Maybe I should just leave the planet..."

Batman looked thoughtful for a moment, before turning off the computer.

"Where would you go?"

Skinny dipping into the sun to get stronger? I dunno.

"I don't know, but you said that there was this Superman and that I would develop powers like him, is he perhaps a Kryptonian?"

Batman just looked at me silently, which I took as a yes.

"...I dunno man, what do you want from me? It's not like I wanted to be here, I don't even know if I can breathe in space, let alone survive in a vacuum, I think my kind never went to space, what do you want me to do?"

I threw my hands in the air and I felt like he raised an eyebrow, even though his mask completely covered the top of his face.

___

It was decided that I was going to stay with him, aka, in the cave, until I adjusted. The problem with me knowing the language was solved by the excuse that the ship that I arrived in was advanced enough to download the knowledge on the most popular language straight into my brain, which also helped out in the lie that I had my memory scrambled.

Now, I was tasked with learning the human culture... from this tiny cave. Truly, the best detective in the world.

I was watching YouTube, looking over everything it could provide on Superman, Batman, Robin, and the new Teen Titans, I even looked up some villains, and I was not impressed, at all.

I thought that since it was a movie, the battles happened at slow speeds for the viewers since high-speed combat wasn't really entertaining.

Humming, he watched for a moment, looking at the windows that displayed multiple scenes at once. Flash, or who was going to be Flash in a few years, was fast, incredibly so, I still didn't know if I could see him or not, since this was a recording.

The titans were, for the lack of a better word, okay? I didn't really know, but the team did have some interesting people on it. Wonder Girl, or Donna Troy, was a founding member, along with first robin, Dick Grayson, Walley West, Gar, or Beastboy, Speedy, and there was another one I didn't remember the name of.

The really interesting ones were Beastboy, Wonder Girl, Robin, and Starfire.

Wondergirl could fly, and so could Starfire, but the way they did was fundamentally different. I still didn't know how I could fly, Was it the electromagnetic field manipulation like Superman, or was it like a viltrumite, could I support myself in the air?

... And which universe was this, anyway? It was annoying since I had no idea if I would have to fight Darkseid where he was overpowered as fuck and killed most of the league by the end of the movies, then there was the one where Superman beat him up when he folded Supergirl... Basically, I was in deep shit.

Taking a deep breath, I released the air through my nose, leaning back in my new chair. I didn't have a room or anything, but I had few clothes.

Now, why wasn't I leaving? Because it would be dumb, I could use Batman, he was Bruce Wane, and he used hundred-dollar bills as toilet paper.

And besides, Superman would come rushing to me if he heard that there was another humanoid alien with powers like him.

Reaching inside the pocket of my pants, I took out a golden disc, the only thing I had on me when I woke up, according to Batman. But knowing him, he couldn't decipher the stuff in the ship and was using what seemed like the safest thing to test the waters.

Luckily for him, it worked. This was my suit... And I was looking to modify it as soon as possible. I was not wearing tights damn it.
