Chapter 7 - DSS? wheres the dating then!?

Everyone was silent, except Ren, who was breathing frantically, twenty of the king's knights died instantly, and the so-called heroes cannot even do anything, there is no one to save them.

All of them are looking at Joseph, even the knight leader is holding his breath to avoid accumulating attention from Joseph.

"Why is everyone so quiet? come on say something, after all, you are the ones that invited me here," Joseph said while smiling gently then added, "Come on, I promise to be benevolent."

The king signals the knight leader to speak, but before the knight leader can say anything Joseph created a powerful air bullet by using his two fingers effectively making a hole in the knight leader's forehead.

"Oops, my hands slip," Joseph said while looking at all of them emotionlessly.

'What a tyrant,' everyone in the room thought, sweat clearly can be seen on their foreheads.

Joseph smiles sweetly because no one tried to talk anymore, he rests his head on his arm, and lazily said, "I'll be the king then."

The original king is boiling with anger but decided to keep it to himself, he didn't want to die a pointless death.

Joseph seems to be satisfied that no one even tried to object him. He then points to the young knight and asked his name, "You there, what is your name?"

The young knight's leg subconsciously shaking but he still gathered some courage to answer, "I'm Ake, your majesty."

Ake is one of the juvenile knights of Melromarc, he appeared to be in his early teens and estimates be around 15 or 16-years-old.

"Ake huh, I decided then, you will be the next Knight leader, understood?" Joseph's tone is soft but Ake knows that if he rejects Joseph he will become a meat paste without even knowing it.

"I understand your majesty, I will serve under your name," Ake said respectfully.

"Then lead the knights and imprison this trash king," Joseph points to the coward king beside him and added. "also tell the nobles and the people that they have a new king. Dismissed."

Ake has no choice but to order the knights, he is not sure if the knights will follow him, but he still shouts his order, "Follow the new king, and take this ta...trash king to the prison!" he slightly stuttered.

Ake was surprised to see the knights follow his order without questioning him and he thought, 'Is this what absolute power can do? A single person conquered this kingdom without even trying."

The previous king let the knights drag him without even fighting, he knows that if he struggles then death will be imminent. He is just hoping that his queen will come home soon to save him from this predicament.

Joseph then look at Itsuki and said, "Bring your friend to a doctor, I'm not killing heroes any time soon."

Itsuki hurriedly carries Ren then leave the castle.

'This is not over, you will pay for this,' Itsuki thought.

Joseph knew that not all the people will follow him, so he bought a skill from the shop to summon his own army.

'Energy needed? bitch I have infinite energy,' Joseph thought.

"Hey knight leader guide me to the courtyard I want to do something," Joseph ordered Ake.

While Ake is guiding Joseph towards the courtyard, Joseph notices that some commotion is happening in the castle.

Some nobles brought their personal army and forcing their entry into the castle. They successfully breached the first gate killing some of the knights that are guarding it, but the nobles knew that more knights will be coming soon, so they rush inside the castle.

Joseph met the nobles with their personal army in the castle's first floor. It is quite spacious so Joseph can clearly see hundreds of armed people inside.

This room is obviously created to host a large party.

Then a large number of royal knights came behind Joseph.

The Royal knights then proceed to defend Joseph by blocking the nobles with their shield and spears.

Joseph clearly traumatizes the knights into submission, not even thinking of betraying him. It also helps that he use his emotion manipulation skill to make the knights more submissive to him.

The nobles are speechless, they thought the knights will join them after seeing their army, but they are obviously very wrong.

Joseph looked at them while smiling and asked, "So I assumed all of you are opposing me?"

The leader of the nobles said, "Yes! so I advise you to step down and stop your foolish plan." with a smug look.

Joseph then clicks his finger and said to the knights, "Kill them all, their families, kids, and anyone with a connection with them. the more you kill, the richer you will become."

When the knights heard what Joseph had said, they run and proceed to slaughter everyone in that room while Joseph calmly walks to the courtyard planning to summon his army.
