Quellaag, Fair Lady, and Fire Sorcery.

As they continued on the way they finally encountered the sack carries. August raised his Swordspear thinking they were enemies, but he stopped when he realized they could not even fight back. Hee heard one of the burdened mutterings and begging for mercy.

"help us."

Adrian looked at one but kept his distance. He knew that the undead contained those gross bugs that sucked to kill. Everyone else did the same as it looked painful and dangerous.

"Egg carriers, they are infected. Keep your distance, who knows they are contagious."

Solaire looked at one with pity.

"Can it be treated?"

Adrian shook his head as he had no clue.

"I do not know. I say we go around them for now. Ignore them, trying to help without knowing will just make it worse."

August had to agree.

"Yes, captain."

Seraphine followed his advice, but she pulled out one of her greatswords.

"These are undead correct?"

August knew what she wanted to do and he supported her idea. If they were undead this would just be a single kill among the many they must have had.

"Try one of them. Let's see what is in those sacks."

She walked up to one before she raised her sword ready to cut them in half. The poor infected started to try to crawl away, but she needed a subject. She swung down and cleaved the egg sack open as it spat out giant magot-like worms.

She cursed out loud when the maggots rushed at her.

"Oh shit."

She jumped out of the way of one going for her face as she stepped on the head of another one. She slashed them all in half with a single good sword swing as she backed off in disgust.

Adrian looked at the bugs and he knew it was better to just leave them be. The souls were not worth the grossness.

"Let's continue."

They all had to agree and left the rest of the egg carriers alone. All the path was full of egg carries that were just too encumbered to move at all. August walked next to Adrian as he asked something odd.

"Captain, this is the path to Isolith is it not?"

Adrian nodded.

"One of them yes, however, I believe we will be unable to cross into it. We may require all of the da boyz to get to the Bed of Chaos."

Solaire listened in and he had something he was confused about.

"Adrian, if you intend to let the fire fade, why are you after the Lord Souls?"

Adrian smiled as he answered.

"Well, if they could take power from those souls I intend to do the same."

August looked at him a bit confused.

"Which Lord Soul do you intend to take?"

"Most likely the Witch of Isoliths soul and maybe the Dark Soul."

All of them looked at him like he was insane. It was known that Gwyn would give away shards of his Lord Soul, but the Dark Soul was different. It was a soul of corruption and they did not think he would surive.

Seraphine took his hands and looked into the black void that was his helmet.

"Are you trying to get yourself killed? The Dark Soul is one thing, and that is pure death for anyone being to bear."

He nodded as he was thinking of Slave Knight Gael. That being had been alive since ancient times and most probably now even. If his abilities in-game were anything to say, he wanted those powers.

"Don't worry, I have a plan for this. I have no intention to go mad, I still got several more missions to do as my debt. Come on, I still got to get married at least once. I am single and ancient."

He kept walking as Seraphine shook her head at how reckless he could be. It did bring a smile to her face as it showed just how determined he was. If he was going to take the Dark Soul she felt she had to somehow keep up.

She had no clue how, but it was going to happen even if she had to take the Soul of Nito from his dead body. Adrian realized the mood was kind of off so he just laughed it off.

"Come on, I think we are here."

They stood in front of a large area so they all drew their weapons for anything. They walked in preparing for a large monster spider, but what they saw was part monster spider and woman.

Quelaag had heard the vibration of August and Adrian's massive bodies and felt that these could not be undead. She still rushed out to face them as they might be a threat to he sister. As her lower spider body rushed to face them Adrian had both swords drawn.

When Quellag laid eyes on Adrian and August she froze for a second.

"Captain Adrian, Commander August?"

Adrian and August removed their helmets as they looked at her.

"Princess Quellag, I see you did not get out unscathed by the failure of the Witch of Isolith."

When she heard Adrian's words she frowned bitterly, but she knew there was no fault with his words.

"You are correct captain, I became this thing after the flame went out of control."

She motioned to her lower half and it made Adrian a little disappointed. He knew a certain cat named cultivator who had married an Arachne, only that one did not have a flaming spider face where the crotch would be.

Adrian put his swords away as he walked toward her.

"So what are you doing here then? If you are conscious, why are you making your home here?"

Her face turned bitter as she kept glancing at Seraphine and Solaire. She needed humanity as it had been a while since her sister received any and was worsening. She planned to take it by force, but Adrian scoffed.

"Don't try it. Forget that thought and I will help you. Attack them, and they will kill you. Not everything is as it seems princess. Now explain to me what happened."

She tried to find any way she could turn this around, but he had tied the noose around her neck already. She pretty much had to follow his orders as he was stronger.

Her mother had told her one thing long ago. Never pick a fight with the Fume Knight captain or sub captain as both of them were warriors of legend. She sighed and nodded.

"It's my sister, she is sick. Deadly so and to keep her alive I have been-"

"Hunting humanity to prolong her life. I could guess, now how is her current state."

August walked up to Adrian just in case she tried to do anything as even though he met her long ago, a demon was still a demon. As for Solaire and Seraphine, both did not fear her as they had grown beyond the normal limits of an undead.

They may not be as flashy as a Fume Knight, but both of them were dangerous fighters. They also approached her as they looked at her lower half. They wondered if it was a separate mind from her, but they did not ask.

August realized that the Fair Lady once considered the kindness of the Daughters of Chaos was also inflicted with this curse. When they heard that even after her transformation her kindness remained.

Adrian had a lot of humanity sure, but it was not enough to heal her. It was a temporary solution so he asked his wingman.

'System, is healing her possible?'

<Cure to Blight Created: 10,000 souls.>

'Why so cheap?'

<Not valuable outside of Dark Souls world. Useless to host, but everything takes a price.>

'That was ominous.'

<Yes.>

Adrian sighed as he knew that nothing was free in the world. He had become a servant to a god after all and from the look of it, he was not the first one. He did not mind it much as he did not think of himself as the chosen one.

He was just an old battle junkie that wanted to live his life of battle and glory. He bought it and brought it out. It was a silver vial that had a bright red fluid.

"Well, I got the cure already. We just need to give it to her."

Everyone had to say they found Adrian's ability to create things from souls fascinating. If it could make stuff like that, what else could it make? Queelag tried to grab it, but Adrian pulled it back.

"Nothing is free princess, I want a request from you."

She frowned as she expected something expensive.

"What do you wish for?"

"Can you teach me Pyromancy and Flame Sorcery if you can?"

She blinked a few times as she did not think he wanted something that simple.

"I promise on my mother."

Adrian handed the vial over as she led them to her sister. Solaire looked up at Adrian as he nudged him with his shoulder.

"So she is the daughter of the Witch of Isolith?"

"You can just ask me undead."

Quelaag was not deaf and she heard his question. Solaire chuckled as he apologized.

"Forgive me, my lady, it is just interesting to think I would meet so many beings alive since the great war."

She nodded.

"Yes, us witches had to use our flame sorceries to burn the Arch Trees home of the dragons. Then the knights would take on the dragons."

Adrian and August both had bitter expressions on their faces. August even cursed out the war.

"A waste of life on both sides. We were the ones who attacked first and we are the ones responsible for their near extinction. Now, only one remains and she is the last of her kind."

Quellag sighed as not many were quilty like the Fume Knights. They were the only ones who had any regret about the war. She looked at the small group as she asked them to stop.

"We are here. Please wait here for me."

The servant Eingyi moved out of the way for her. He looked up at the small group of them.

"Are you knew servants?"

Adrian scoffed at the idea.

"Not at all."

August shook his head.

"I only follow the captain and the First Born."

Seraphine and Solaire both denied that they were servants.

"No, we are only here to treat the Fair Lady. However, we are just here to help her in a way."

Eingyi, was disappointed and he ignored them for now. Quellag fed the medicine slowly to her and when the medicine entered her body it began to cure the Blight she had consumed.

Her pale dying body was cured, but the damage had been done. She was still blind and could barely stand. The good thing was that she could now slightly move and start recovering.

That was enough for Quelaag as in time her sister might heal and stand again.

"Sister, what did you do?"

Quellag ran her hand on her cheek.

"I cured you, now wait here."

She walked out to talk to Adrian. She had promised him to teach him Pyromancy and fire sorcery. She had never taught that ancient type of sorcery to anyone, but she was about to try.

"Captain Adrian, I have to thank you greatly for this favor."

She bowed to Adrian as she looked up at him.

"I will keep my promise and teach you all I know about Pyromnacy and Fire Sorcery."

At that moment a great roar of rage and agony rang out in the area. Quelaag sighed as she heard the roars of her brother.

"That is what remains of our brother. He stands in the remains of Isolith. You will have to go there after mother correct?"

Adrian nodded.

"We need her lord soul. We plan to put out the Bed of Chaos."

She sighed.

"I wish you luck, I can't help again my brother. However, he needs to be put to rest. He is always in agony."

Seraphine, Solaire, and August felt a pity to Ceaseless Discharge. They would call out to the rest of the Fume Knights as this might be a bit more dangerous. Adrian also planned to take on the 4 Kings in New Londo already.

For now, they would spend some time here in Blight Town with Quellag until she finished teaching Adrian. If he was going to consume the Lord Soul of the Witch, then he would need to train it well.
