Talking

Raven and Fire walked deep into the forest, not too far from the village, and stopped and rested by an old tree.

Fire grunts and grumbles at Raven. ( Where have you been? You've gone for 10 years. I thought you were dead. )

" Lemrey. " ( Surviving. ) Raven said, trying make like it's not important.

Fire growls at Raven. ( Did those people hurt you? Where is your family? )

" Kerusey. " ( Dead. ) Raven said as she sat down and hugged her leg tightly.

Fire whimpered at Raven. ( I'm so sorry. The others? )

" Lateng " ( The Same. ) Raven said, taking deep breaths through the nose, looking up at the sky.

Fire sat on the ground in front of Raven and grumbled at her. ( They can't all be gone. )

" Ma Matthew Lurusey. " ( Matthew Is Alive. ) Raven said, clenching her hand in anger.

Fire wiggled his tail and grumbled. ( That's great. )

Raven rolled her eyes and wanted to bite her own tongue for saying his name.

Fire tiled his head and grunts. ( Isn't that a good thing? Your brother is still alive. )

" Fanwe'tu. " ( Coward. ) Raven whispered under her breath.

Fire looked at Raven and grumbled. ( What? )

" Ke'u. " ( Nothing. ) Raven looked up and smiled at Fire.

Fire stares at Raven, waiting for an answer.

Raven cleared her throat and got off the ground, and brushed off any dirt.

" Oekin 'nekä. " ( I Need To Go. ) Raven said, looking in the direction of the village.

Fire grumbled at Raven. ( Stay safe. )

Raven walked away from Fire, waving him goodbye, and headed back towards the village.
