Ember's Monsterization (1)

Ember was just sitting on her bed without moving an inch.

The food on the side table had already gotten cold but she didn't even try to touch it.

She probably also hadn't washed her face ever since waking up.

All she was doing was sitting on the bed while hugging her knees and was not doing anything else.

She didn't want to do anything.

She didn't feel like doing anything.

'Time,'

In her absent mind, one word echoed, and as soon as it emerged in her head, a screen appeared in front of her.

She read the numbers and decided to keep sitting for another three minutes before her hands moved and let go of her knees.

Slowly, her feet moved to the left side of the bed and touched the floor.

After touching the ground, Ember stood up and her body wobbled a little.

'Ugh—, why is it so hard to stand up?'
