The One Who Wields The Blade

*Kaboom*

An explosion went off the Loki Familia's training ground as Zephyr breathed heavily.

"Hell yeah," Amidst his heavy breaths he smiled, proud of something he had done.

"I've finally done it, Telekinesis." Zephyr said as the cloud of dust cleared, revealing his body surrounded by the 6 daggers he bought 2 days ago. The daggers were floating and circling him, as if they were orbiting his body.

He commanded the daggers to once again fly towards the training dummy, their great speeds making the impact heavy and devastating as the Dagger's pierced through the dummy's body and planted themselves into the wall causing another explosion.

While it was cool, Zephyr found out that he needed to concentrate quite a lot to do Telekinesis using just his Aura.

He had struggled to control the daggers these past few days but he had finally succeeded, his arsenal of attacks gaining another row of new assets, Telekinesis had a lot of potential as an ability and Zephyr knew that himself.

Now he was decked out when it came to versatility, his Aura was an overpowered ability of used by a competent wielder.

For the next few hours, Zephyr continued to train with the Daggers, completely missing the flow time and training all night until he eventually noticed the rising sun.

"Has it already been that long?" Zephyr commanded the daggers to go back to the holsters that circled around his waist.

Ever since he got the ability, [Honoured One] he had solemnly felt tired, the very few instances of it being that time he fought the Goliath and almost died.

Even now he doesn't feel that much fatigue, so with that in mind he adjusted his Training regiment, taking into account his almost inexhaustible stamina.

But for now, he needed to think of other techniques he could use when it comes to the Dungeon.

He lacked detection spells, with his only means of detecting threats being his great senses and the use of Arcane Sight making it so that he could see the mana of Monsters in the vicinity, but there was bound to be times where he also needed to rest and risk being ambushed by something.

While he was thinking he suddenly heard a voice of someone. "Aren't ya' a diligent one."

From the shadows, the figure of a stout dwarf entered Zephyr's sight.

"Sir Gareth." Zephyr recognized him, after all he's one of the Loki Familia's executive members and was a very senior member of the Familia, often training him alongside Finn.

"I've seen your status kid, that Honoured One skill of yours pretty much certains that you won't get tired when it comes to stamina and casting spells. I mean, granting the highest ranked version of both [Spirit Healing] and [Healing Power]? It's so broken that I'm jealous." Gareth said the few last lines with a hint of irritation in his voice.

And then Gareth sighed before looking at Zephyr in the eyes. "I know you have a lot of problems on your shoulder kid, I've heard from the Goddess that you don't remember your past. Even she couldn't see it, but take it easy."

Zephyr's eyes slightly widened before going back to normal and listening Intently to Gareth.

"To be honest, you're a monster kid. Leveling up in just a week of being an Adventurer and then killing a Goliath along with it, you're growth is tremendously fast." Gareth crossed his hands and took up a wise tone.

"But that growth of yours just solidifies the fact that you're probably going to need face things that kids your age don't have to. And that worries me, you're just like Ais, that child is burdened with a heavy past, and I'm sure yours is much heavier."

Gareth lightly massaged his long beard. "I'm not great with sentimental things, so I can't say much unlike Finn. But here's a piece of advice from an old man."

"Don't rush things." Gareth slowly walked towards Zephyr who's mouth as slightly opened. "You'll eventually reach that goal of yours, you have a whole life awaiting you. So don't waste that pursuing things like being the strongest, or becoming a Hero."

"You're just a child, barely 10 years in age. So uh, how do I say this." Gareth placed his hands on Zephyr's shoulders. "Don't run before you can walk. Enjoy your youth while you still can, you don't know how quick it'll pass."

"And that goes for you too, Princess." Gareth called out to the golden-haired girl who was eavesdropping on their conversation.

Ais flinched at being so easily caught, but after some thinking, she almost thought that what he said was true.

But what could she do? She couldn't just stop, not until she had fulfilled her goals. Not until she has slain that accursed Dragon.

Ais walked away with those thoughts still in her mind.

Gareth sighed as he felt her figure slowly disappearing.

"But that's about it kid, this old man here has duties to fulfill." And with that, Gareth left as well. Leaving Zephyr to his thoughts as he crossed his arms.

He slowly looked at the rising sun in the horizon, a multitude of emotions clouding his mind.

He scratched the back of his head as he sighed, 'Will I be able to take it easy?' Zephyr asked himself, the question seemingly hard to answer.

But Zephyr didn't dwell hard into it. He had a whole to answer that question, a whole life to fulfill his goals.

Just like Gareth said, don't rush it, don't run before you can walk. Life is all about experiencing things and enjoying it is one of it's beauties.

The bottom of the Dungeon could wait, he wouldn't face it all alone. He had the Loki Familia, his second family to help him through his ordeals. He had friends, and Noir but most importantly. He had his sword with him, the blade would never leave him.

That's because he is Zephyr Bladehart, the Amnesiac Swordsman who is troubled with a lost past. A young man who was suddenly thrust into the world of Genkai, a young man who dreams big and will do his best to fulfill it. He who wields the blade. He, is The Blade-Bound. And his legend, is yet to be written.

A/N: A little early for a title drop but thought it was a great opportunity. This is also a two part chapter, meaning I'll post the latter latter.

This is the first part of the 3,000 word chapter.

Also any ideas? Perhaps any interesting ideas so that the MC can do something different than in Canon.
