"Ain't cha gonna ask Demeter for permission first?" Loki asked Lars and he waved his hand lackadaisically.

"Ehh, it's going to be fine~" Demeter gives him free reign as long as he wasn't going for something big.

"Heh? So you're getting spoiled by Demeter, huh? Do you drink her milk, too?" Loki grinned at him, thinking that he would flinch at her question.

"No, not really. She lets me motorboat them though." Lars shrugged and Loki choked on her spit.

"Lars!" Riveria shouted at him as she put her hands over Ais' ears.

"What?" Ais looked around and Lars sighed. "She's already considered an adult, Riveria. You can't protect her forever." Lars shook his head at the mama elf.

"Tch, shut up, you. You and Loki are trying to corrupt Ais." Riveria scowled at them.

"Woah, woah, me? He's the one who told us what he's doing with the ladies, mama." Loki lifted her hands in surrender.

"Riveria, they're just playing you. Look at the smile on their faces." Finn sighed and the duo high fived each other.

"You gotta loosen up, Riveria. You're too tense. And tense things eventually snap." Lars went suddenly serious.

"Okay... But don't be perverted. You know that Ais can get influenced easily. And she looks up to you a lot." Riveria squinted her eyes at him.

"Un!" Ais nodded and she wasn't afraid to show her fondness for him.

"Fine, it's just a little, harmless joke. But I won't try to give Ais any ideas about it." Lars rolled his eyes.

"Did you even give her the talk yet? The long kind of course. Just how I like it." Loki chuckled like a perverted old man.

"What's the talk?" Ais asked Riveria and the elf bristled at Loki.

She then had an idea. "Loki is the one who knows about it, how about you ask her?" Riveria smirked.

The elf thought Loki would sputter and come crashing down. "Hoh? You wanna know all about it? How about I teach ya real good. Lars here will help with the devil's tango." Loki smirked.

"You can't win, Riveria. You just shot yourself on the foot." Gareth patted her on the back and Riveria did an orz as Ais looked at Lars curiously.

"Dancing? Why is it the devil's dance though? Am I going to do it with Lars?" Ais tilted her head innocently.

"Yeah, you'll be fuc-" Argana who recovered was amused by their talks and she was about to go all amazoness about copulating.

But Lars shut her up with his psychokinesis. Ais was a bit too innocent for dirty talks.

"Okay, I'll call in the members of our expedition team, see you later!" Lars exited like how he entered, a hurricane of unpredictability.

"Aww, I wanted to do yoga with him." Ais got sad.

"Don't worry, we have plenty of time to do so in the future." Riveria patted her head.

"Ohh, he'll be doing yoga poses with you later for sure, Riveria." Loki did hip thrusts and Riveria glared at her.

But she suddenly realized something. 'Wait a minute...' Riveria remembered the poses.

Lars made his way through Orario. "Making my way downtown, walking fast, pace is fast, and I'm homebound~"

He enjoyed the fresh air of Orario. For he suffered the biting cold in the 60th to 69th floor in his shorts.

Even just breathing hurt, he was pretty sure that his lungs were getting frozen or something.

Entering the gates of the Astraea familia's garden, he was met with their goddess.

"Hey, Astraea. The girls on patrol?" Lars smiled at her and she returned the gesture.

"Yes, need anything from them? Oh, and Haruhime is also with them, she hit it with Kaguya." Astraea let him enter.

The brunette goddess prepared some tea with a hum and Lars put out snacks.

But when she sat down besides him, they went silent. 'Damn... We aren't exactly that close.' Lars almost winced.

Thinking of a topic to speak about. 'What should I do, I've never been alone with him.' Astraea fidgeted around a bit due to the awkwardness.

"Hey." They both spoke at the same time and Lars gestured for her to go first.

"Uhh, no you go first." Astraea had a wry expression on her face.

"Sure, so... No new recruits yet? I believe you are quite popular." Lars asked her and she blinked at that.

"Recruits huh?" Astraea went pensive. Lars then realized that was a pretty insensitive question.

"Sorry Astraea, I didn't mean to remind you about your children." He winced, remembering what happened to Artemis as well.

"Oh... Don't worry, I take no offense." Astraea smiled at him, but she still had a twinge of sadness in her eyes.

"You're quite strong, Astraea. I can't imagine losing people that are basically your children." Lars looked at the ground.

"I was a wreck when I've heard of it. I felt it you see? My falna died alongside them. But I couldn't believe it." Astraea twiddled her thumbs.

He listened intently. "A part of me died... I've asked myself, if I didn't seek justice. Would they have lived?"

Lars frowned at her words. He wanted to tell her that she was wrong. That they've done a lot for Orario in those trying times.

But he is a sensible man. Because what Astraea said is true. They wouldn't be targeted by evilus if the Astraea familia wasn't Orario's SWAT team.

"I'm sorry, I didn't reach them soon enough." Lars grabbed her hand and she blinked in surprise.

"Ngh, you did what you could. I'm already thankful enough that you saved four of them." Astraea shook her head as she squeezed back.

"They're lucky to experience being your child, Astraea." Lars thought that her familia was leagues better than the average one.

"You think?" Astraea chuckled and they smiled at each other.

"Yeah, if Demeter didn't appear to me randomly. I think I would've tried to get into your familia." Astraea raised a brow at that.

"I hate gods that come here only for entertainment. To think that mortal lives are here to stave their boredom. And you tried your darndest to help the people." Lars said seriously.

"I... I don't know what to say." She was flattered immensely.

"Astraea, do you trust me?" Lars asked her and he was sure that she would understand.

"Yes, why? I know that you're a good person, Lars." Astraea nodded.

"We're building a city for intelligent monsters, and your children are in on it." Lars dropped a bomb on her and she was sent reeling.

"W-what?" Even though she expected something ridiculous, it wasn't that much.

"Y-you're colluding with monsters? Are you trying to take over Orario?" Astraea frowned.

"No, no... They're called xenos. They're monsters that reincarnated. Stripping off their hatred the dungeon spawns them with." Lars explained immediately.

"What? How is that possible?" The dungeon was humanity's enemy for thousands of years.

And it hated all livings so much that it spawned the 3 great quests that decimated even the Zeus and Hera familias.

With the Hera familia having enough strength that their captain can storm Orario by herself and destroy anyone.

"Tell me more..." Astraea processed the information as she heard about them being intelligent.

And after a lengthy explanation, she just blinked in shock. Monsters that could feel just like people. It was definitely an eye-opener.

"I trust you Astraea, no god knows this except Ouranos, Hermes, and Demeter. Will you help us?" Lars could feel it.

His guts were telling him something. Orario has been too peaceful.

And as they say, no secret gets left unturned. The world will know about Monstro soon, it's inevitable.

Time wasn't on their side and he knew it. That's why he focused on a fortress that can survive Alfia's Nero Angelus.

"I can't back out of this now... And you said that my children are in the know." Astraea sighed and he smiled wryly.

"Well, I gotta get some leverage." He chuckled and Astraea smiled at him.

"Thanks, Astraea. I know that this is a bad deal for you. After all, you're not exactly a fighter." Lars hugged her out of joy.

He needs all the gods in their ranks. Heaven knows they would make things much easier.

"L-Lars..." Astraea's eyes widened in surprise and the door suddenly opened.

"Sorry, we didn't see anything." Lyra immediately closed the door again.

"Well, that was quite the timing." Lars snorted. "C-can you let me go now?" Astraea could feel his heat and she got a whiff of his musk.

Astraea blushed like a tomato and Lars sighed. "We're here you know? Just enter the goddamned door." Lars ordered and they went in.

"We didn't mess up anything?" Ryuu asked, fidgeting around as she glanced at her goddess and Lars.

"Oi, aren't you the lewd one here? We just shared a hug." Lars squinted his eyes at Ryuu.

She was definitely a pervert disguising as an innocent maiden. The erofu was thinking too much of lewd things.

"L-Lars is right! Why are you always saying that people will get pregnant or they're shameless?" Alise looked at her suspiciously.

"Why are you teaming up on me!? This is a cultural difference!" Ryuu was betrayed.

"Oh, you're definitely thinking of other things. Don't tell me you haven't had dreams of Lars." Kaguya smirked at her.

Ryuu was about to speak out, but her words died in her throat. She did dream about him holding her hand. In public no less! Such lewdness from a proud elf.

"Well, let's get started then." Kaguya slid off her kimono and even Lars was surprised.

"Kaguya! Cover yourself you shameless woman!" Alise stood in front of her and Ryuu put her green cloak on Kaguya, pulling on it.

Hooking her face with the fabric, looking like she was trying to suffocate her or something.

"I didn't come here for pleasure by the way. I'm inviting you guys to an expedition. To the deep floors." Lars chuckled at their antics.

"An expedition? Tell me more." Lyra who was their strategist got interested.

They did need an upgrade. With Lyra turning into a level 4 and the other three being level 5.

The Astraea familia needs hundreds of millions of valis for 1st class equipment.

They then agreed immediately after he told them about the expedition with the Loki familia.

"Woohoo! They will definitely see yours truly's awesomeness." Alise was pumped.

"I am curious about the Loki familia's strength." Kaguya smirked.

"It will be an honor to be with her highness Riveria." Ryuu was actually excited to meet up with the high elf royal princess.

"Haruhime, you're going too. We'll be revealing you. Then we'll use your broken support skill as a reason for your explosive growth." Lars thought of powerleveling her.

If Airmid is their paladin, then Haruhime will be their bard. A japanese bard, the type who dances like an idol.

"Then let's get the gang, shall we?" Lars grinned as they made their way towards Monstro.

The whole expedition group of Monstro was gathered, alongside the Astraea familia.

"We'll be doing a deep dive into the dungeon. We're going to kill anything in our way." Lars huffed.

"And that way, the ANBU will be able to patrol the higher floors much easier. With the Loki familia out on an expedition, we'll be able to map down the Ikelos familia's fortress much easier.

I don't know about you, but I love me some high quality orichalum and adamantite." Lars grinned.

"You're gonna rob them clean, I love it." Airmid beamed at him.
