He opened his eyes as images of how a machine opened a way for him flashed through his mind. As he tried to make sense of his current situation, a faint voice reached out to him. A pressing feeling in his chest took almost his breath away, but this was accompanied by water droplets falling to his cheeks and going all the way down to his neck.

"Shuichi…", she voiced him out one more time, this time he opened his eyes and realized what was happening.

Everything seemed just like a dream, Shuichi thought, he saw a blond girl pressing her whole body against him and crying near his cheek. With every single tear that he felt on his face, his mind became clearer and clearer. The girl stood up by making a little distance with her arms, she was far enough so Shuichi could see the entirety of her face.

"Ka….e..de..?" Shuichi's voice trembles as he spoke the name of the girl.

"Took you long enough.., I was waiting, you know…?", Shuichi's mind was racing at 100 miles per second trying to figure how is the girl he saw dead a few days ago is alive, breathing, and crying on top of him. Shuichi stayed perplexed for a few minutes just admiring Kaede's face until he lifted his arms and reached her cheeks with his hands.

"You… are alive...?" Shuichi said still thinking his eyes were deceiving him.

"It's a bit hard to explain, so let's just wait a little bit okay? At least until the other get here", said Kaede.

"The others...?" Shuichi asked with an even more confused gaze.

As time passed Shuichi was still trying to deduce what had happened, his detective instincts were getting overworked as each second passed, more than a thousand thoughts crossed his mind, "Is she an impostor? A twin I was not aware of? A high technology robot?" All of this and more possibilities were in Shuichi's mind debating one with each other. Until an electric door opened revealing the faces of people who Shuichi thought were far gone until a few hours ago.

"Huh! Kaede!! What are you doing being so near to that disgusting male!!" Said an energetic woman.

"Come on you, just let them be, it is a touching reencounter after all," Said a cheerful male voice.

"This is beautiful! This is definitely one of the pinnacles that a human relationship can get!" Said a low male voice with excitement'

"What is this I see? Did mister detective finally had the balls to declare his feelings?" Said a high pitched male voice.

As soon as these voices overwhelmed the room's environment Kaede stood up quickly getting far away from Shuichi while carrying a bright red face. Shuichi slowly stood up from the capsule he was in to greet every single one of his classmates.

"Hello everyone… once again," said Shuichi while his own tears dripped away from his eyes.
