Derrick layed on the bed unconscious. "How's he faring dear?" An old man in his mid 90's questioned the young lady sitting by Derrick's side.
He held onto his walker for support to avoid falling down. She was applying some herbs on him that required deep concentration, so she ignored the man till she was done.
"Grandpa, I told you not to distract me when I'm working." She scolded playfully.
"I'm sorry my little pumpkin." The old man pulled her in an embrace and kissed the top of her head.
She giggled. "You should be resting Grandpa." She said, acting angry.
"I just came to check on our guest. It's not like I can no longer walk anyways." The old man said rolling his eyes.
