Taehyung's in love

Y/n got up and was still thinking about yesterday's talk with abeoji.

She looked at Jimin once and felt sad for him. The most thing that hurt her was that she had to tell him this.

She managed to control herself from not telling him, for two days. But after that, she couldn't. Every time she saw him, she felt like a betrayal.

She couldn't take it anymore.

She came down from her room and saw Jimin sitting on the couch.

She approached to him and sat near him.

"J-Jimin, I need to... I need to tell you something." She hesitated.

He turned and faced her. Y/n was nervous. She kept fiddling with her hands.

"What is it?"

"Ab-Abeoji.... he-he's not feeling well." She started in a slow way.

"He's getting aged. Yeah." He said.

"Not that. He has..... he..." she couldn't say anything after that.

"Y/n, I know what you're talking about." He said.

She was shocked. She looked at him confused.

"I heard you and father speaking in the kitchen." He said in a sad tone.

"W-what?" She was confused.

"Yeah. I know he has cancer. And he has a few months or weeks to live."

As he said, a tear escaped. She hugged him tight.

Y/n's POV

"I... i couldn't tell you. It... it was really difficult. And I never knew such a thing would happen to abeoji. He's such a good person." I couldn't find proper words to comfort him.

"Y/n, I know how you felt when you heard it first. He said this to you first cause he trusts you."

"Jimin, how can you be like this? You're father's health condition is not good but you're here telling me about why he likes me a lot."

"Jimin, you know about this now. So, you should go spend his few weeks or months with him."

"Y/n, I can't do that."

"You can Jimin. You know he is gonna leave us someday. You've met him after so long and he should feel happy seeing his son happy. You should be with him for a while."

"Y/n, what about you?"

"Jimin, family first. Then everything else comes second. Please. This is a request from me to you. Please make him feel happy."

He walked towards me and held my hands.

"I didn't care so much when I heard you guys talk cause I know you will be there for me. If not anyone but you will. But after what you said, I miss him a lot. I want to make the best days with him. And I will. Starting from today. And this is why I need you in my life. To show me every right and wrong thing."

"So do I." I said and we kissed.

"You better stay with him for a month at least." I said.

"And I can manage. Don't worry about me. I can call over someone or everyone. And important thing. Don't be sad there and make him feel worried. Just act like you didn't know about it." He nodded and we went upstairs.

I helped him pack his bag. He passed on the clothes to me and I kept them in.

It went pretty fast. But when it was time to leave, he behaved like a cute little baby.

"I don't want to leave you." He said pouting. I smiled at his cuteness.

I gave him a peck and said,

"I'll stay with you guys in the weekends. And we've got a pretty good days of holiday. So enjoy!" I said and bid him goodbye.

I got in and flopped on the couch.

I had mixed emotions. But mostly sad.

I texted Taehyung.

Me: Hey Tae. Are you free?

He responded immediately.

Tae: Yeah.

Me: Can you stay with me for a few weeks?

Tae: wae?

Me: first come. Then I'll tell. It's not something I can tell over a text. See you soon.

Tae: ok. I'm on my way.

Till that time, I called Jimin and asked him whether he reached safely. And how things were going.

*few minutes later

*knock knock

I opened the door and as expected it was Taehyung.

I welcomed him in and he sat on the couch.

I offered him some water.

"What is it?" He asked.

I sat down and told him.

"Jimin is staying with his father for a few weeks. So I want you to give me company."

"Why is he staying with his father?"

"His father has pancreatic cancer." He had the same reaction as me.

"How?"

"I dont know. So I asked Jimin to stay with him and make him happy."

"We should all pay him a visit once. It's been long. And how did you meet his father?"

I said him the entire story of how we met his father.

"That's great. You're really a great girlfriend for him."

"My love aside. Aren't you looking someone?"

"W-w-what?" He stammered.

"I know you're seeing someone. But I dont know who it is."

"How?"

"That day I saw you smiling at your phone. If there's any guy or girl smiling at their phone, it either means he's in love or talking with his crush. In the same way of a guy or a girl laughs it means a joke from their friend."

"Woah!!" He was amazed.

"Now tell. Who is she? From the campus or out? Did you meet her in any class?"

"Wait wait! If you ask so much, how do you expect me to tell?"

"Now tell."

"Ok. Her name is Sophie. I met her at a function and got to know she was in our campus. She's actually an American Korean. We liked each other and it started a month before."

"And you havent told the guys yet?"

"No. I felt a bit nervous on how they'd react."

"Why do you care about how they react? You like her and if you truly like her, you wouldn't let anyone judge her or not let others say anything about her."

"How do I tell?"

"Just go tell them I like this-this person and I like her very much. When you say, there should be a stiffness in your voice."

"I'll try."

"No trying here. You've gotta do it kid." I said and went to my room.

"Don't think too long. Just go tell." I shouted from my room.

I heard him walk and the door closed.

I called Jimin.

Me: hey.

Jimin: I miss you already.

Me: me too.

Jimin: so what is it?

Me: I called over Taehyung to home. And I told him about it. I thought of bringing the guys over there, tomorrow.

Jimin: that's great. Let it be a surprise to Dad though. You know, he'll be really excited to see them.

Me: ok. I'll let them know. So as tomorrow's a weekend, any plans of going out with your dad?

Jimin: not yet. I've not decided.

Me: is he feeling good now?

Jimin: yes. I'll go for a check up with him once now. Call you later. Bye. I love you.

Me: Love you too!

Taehyung's POV

Y/n did make sense. I have to tell them. It's now or never. And I don't want them to find it by someone else. So I decided to tell them.

I took my car keys and walked out and drove to the dorm, cause that's were we'll be most of the time.

I reached the dorm soon. I got out and walked in.

I knocked on the door and Namjoon hyung opened it.

As soon as I got in,

"I have something to tell you guys." I said.

They all sat down.

"Ok. I like a girl. Her name's Sophie and we've been dating for a month."

"A month? Why didn't you tell us then?" Hoseok hyung asked.

"I wasn't sure where it was going at that time, so I wanted time to see things clearly."

"Great. First Jungkook, then Jimin and now our little Tae. That's actually good to see our guys getting with someone." Hoseok hyung said.

"You should bring her for dinner someday." Yoongi hyung said.

"Ok sure. And there's something else."

They all listened eagerly.

"Jimin's father is here. And he has pancreatic cancer." They were shocked as I was.

"So he's staying with his father and giving the best of his days."

"We should really go visit him." Namjoon hyung said. They agreed.

"We're going tomorrow, cause it's a weekend."

"Ok. But everyone shouldn't go on him asking about his health condition. Let him have fun and be happy. Don't involve the topic into it. Arasseo?" Jin hyung said.

"Ne." We said and I left to y/n's house.

On my way, I bought some coffee and drove back.

As I came back, I saw Sophie round the corner. I thought to introduce her to y/n.

"Sophie!" I called her.

"Tae!" She looked at me and was happy.

"What are you doing here?"

"Just came to see a friend. What are you doing here?"

"I also came to see my friend. Come with me, I'll introduce you to her." I said and held her hand and walked to y/n's house.

I knocked on the door and she opened.

"You told them?" She asked. I nodded my head.

"So y/n, I would like you to meet someone." Sophie came out from behind.

"Y/n, this is Sophie. Sophie, this is y/n, my best friend."

"Come in, please." She invited her.

We seated down and y/n brought tea for all.

"So how did you meet?"

"It was in a festival kinda. We first saw each other and then the next day we saw each other in the campus. And now here we are." She said.

"That's great." Y/n said.

I looked at y/n and asked her how she is by wiggling my eyebrows. She showed a thumbs up. I smiled.

"Ok, I've some work. I'll get going."

"I'll drop you."

"No it's ok Tae. It's here only. I can manage. It was nice meeting you. I'll see you later." She said and left.

As soon as she left, I turned to Y/n.

"You've got a great girlfriend. She's actually nice and for you, totally yeah. I'm really happy for you guys."

"All thanks to you."

"Never ever say that. So how did the guys react?"

"They were ok about it. And they wanted to have dinner with her."

"Well, congrats." She said and I smiled.

You're a great friend to me and the other members and a great girlfriend to Jimin and a great daughter to your parents. And you're a really great person.

We were worried about Jimin, but if he's happy now, it's all cause of you.

The one who refused to talk to girls, talked to you. I knew at that he had feelings for you and he still loves you more than anything.

Just stay by his and never let go or leave him. This all we want. To see you guys happy and love each other forever.

I want to say this to you, from my mouth but nothing comes. I don't want to make you feel sad about it.

Jimin and I are of the same age, yeah. He used to talk to me, while I was down. I felt close to him so I'd open up. But when I ask him, he says he doesn't wanna talk about it.

I wondered if I was the one who thought him as close but maybe he didn't. We had a big fight on this. Later he used to talk about small things only.

But if he's opening up to you, sharing his feelings to you, then he trusts you so much. He doesn't want to let go of you. Cause he needs you. He needs you to show him the right path.

They say, every man needs a woman in their life.

Being with the members, I've never seen him this happy with us. He's more happy to be with you.

But all I want to say is, y/n, thanks for being with Jimin and making him happy.
