On this day a young boy was trekking through the mountains with no one looking for him or his presence. A statement of how his life had been so far since being alone.
Finally, as he reached the peak of the mountain, he saw something glinting in the light of the sun. He rushed over and saw a small, blueish-green rock, still warm to the touch. It was a meteor, and it was his chance at something new, something better he was hoping for.
It was a small, smooth stone with a bright, shimmering surface that glinted in the sunlight. The boy was fascinated by the rock and couldn't believe his luck in finding such a beautiful treasure.
He picked up the rock and examined it closely, turning it over in his hand and marvelling at the way the light caught its surface. As he gazed at the rock, he wondered what he should do with it. Should he keep it as a special memento, or should he show it to the town and see if they would buy it from him?
He weighed the pros and cons of each option, but he couldn't seem to make up his mind. On one hand, he really wanted to keep the rock for himself considering the beauty of the stone. On the other hand, he knew riches can cause trouble and maybe even a little jealousy.
In the end, the boy decided to take the rock home first before deciding on the matter. The rock was small but still larger than his palms. Finding it near the lake wasn't too difficult after having combed through the landing site he spotted on his way there.
Seeing that the sun was getting ready to make its presence scarce, he decided to return before night fell and dangers woke.
With some time and patience, the young boy made his way back to the edges of the village. A certain shiny rock was observing very carefully while remaining quiet, although his mental thoughts were hidden and so he casually hitched a ride on a young azure-haired boy.
"Transport...GET!" Daede mumbled like the man-child he was.
Nestled in the heart of the mountains, the village of Mountview was a bustling hub of activity. With its narrow cobblestone streets and quaint, stone-walled buildings, it seemed to be a blend of the modern and the medieval.
In the center of the village, a grand clock tower stood tall, its chimes ringing out over the rooftops at the start of each hour. The villagers went about their days, tending to their shops and stalls, while many flocked to the town's many attractions, such as the hot springs and castle ruins.
Despite its remote location, Mountview was a thriving community, with a rich history and a bright future. Whether you were seeking adventure or simply a peaceful retreat, the village of Mountview was the perfect place to be.
The young boy recalled the scene of learning about his hometown.
"Welcome to Mountview, my rocky friend." The boy mumbled casually as they walked into the town.
Daede was carried from the mountains and into the bustling town of Mountview. As the boy walked through the streets, Daede couldn't help but marvel at the sights and sounds of the new place. He had never been to an alien town before, and everything was so different and exciting.
Eventually, the boy arrived at his lonesome house, set among the trees on the outskirts of town. He placed Daede on a shelf, and the rock couldn't help but feel a little sad. He had left his home behind, and he wasn't sure what his future held but he was excited to see what new things he would discover.
As the boy started preparing what can only seem to be some sort of bread and vegetables for his supposed supper, Daede stared at the house.
The dilapidated house stood at the end of a long, overgrown driveway, surrounded by weeds and tall grass. Its paint was peeling and faded, and the roof was missing several tiles. The windows were cracked and dirty, and the shutters were hanging off their hinges.
Daede was curious as to why the house seemed so much worse compared to the others he had seen on the way.
Despite its state of disrepair, there was something eerie and intriguing about the dilapidated house. It seemed to be hiding secrets and stories within its walls, and it was easy to imagine all the different lives that had passed through its doors.
This was a foreign civilization and everyone had their story, including this house.
Seeing the boy finish eating as Daede was observing all he could but considering the state of the house, there was a clear lack of interesting items aside from the mundane that Daede could figure out without even using much of his massive mind power.
In the living room, there was an old, threadbare couch covered in stains and a coffee table that was more or less ready to crumble. The kitchen was equally cluttered, with pots and pans hanging from the ceiling. Aside from what he could perceive, there were a few interesting-looking items but they were made of wood and seemed to have some sort of mundane purpose as there wasn't anything special about them.
The boy had finished his meal, still looking quite malnourished regardless of the fact that he seemed to have a decent meal. The boy had picked him off the shelf and sat him down on the coffee table while he sat on the couch and started observing the shiny rock.
The boy was mumbling different things but to nobody's surprise, Daede couldn't understand a word of it.
"Sigh... I hate that I can't just get a language cheat." Daede sighed heavily at his lack of an all-purpose golden finger.
"Guess I'll try telepathy and hopefully the kid doesn't try and destroy or throw me out... haha he probably won't... hopefully." Daede thought before he stretched out an invisible thread from his rocky body towards the boy's head.
Getting a closer look at the boy as he was doing so he couldn't help but remark on a few things.
His bright green eyes seemed sunken and tired, and his skin was stretched tight over his bones, giving him a frail and emaciated appearance. He seemed lonely and isolated, with no one to turn to for comfort or support. It was clear that he had been through a great deal of hardship and suffering, and that he was barely hanging on.
Despite his condition, there was still a spark of life in the azure-haired boy's eyes. He seemed determined to survive, no matter how difficult things became. It was as if he was clinging to a thread of hope, even in the darkest of times.
One could only hope that the azure-haired boy would find the strength and support he needed to overcome his challenges and reclaim his health and vitality.
"Well, I might as well see if I can help the kid all things considered. After all, I, DAEDE, THE MAGNIFICENT am here now! Hahaha!" Daede thought with all the seriousness that his lifetime across Earth, Space Jelly-dom, Cracked space, and The deep abyssal sea had brought about in him.
Though one could argue he was just as lonely as the boy or crazy or both. One could definitely argue the point.
With all these thoughts fleeting by as his tendril of consciousness reached towards the unsuspecting boy's head.
"Poke."
"Hello BOY!" He said in the most god of war-like voice he could imitate.
"..."
The shock came too suddenly!
"Ah!? What! Who's there!?" The boy nearly screamed as he asked while looking around but didn't have as much energy considering the long time spent in the mountains searching for this rock.
