"Terranoids, malicious malware and viruses with mechanical bodies made of metals and steel, created by a violent AI known as Omni-cast. During the year 2079, Terranoids ran rampant through out the world and war between cybernetic humans and Terranoids broken out. Wuth the insane combat cyberwares and skill wares and mods, the Terranoids were almost wiped out by humans. But they learned, they evolved, the war was quickly reversed as the Terranoids managed to learn Quick hacks, disabling the very cyberware the humans relied on and turned them against each other. Humans were almost wiped out, that is until they figured out a way to mix technology with the body, inserting nanobots to assist in reshaping and evolving the genes beyond the gjven limit, creating the Altered ones. The war was once more put under control and in a stale mate. Under the slightly peaceful era, corporate enterprises rose up once more and greed enveloped thw world with these new knowledge of power. Another path to evolution was hence created, they are called Mechanoids! Mechanoids, humans who are made up of pure steel! Their cells, genes, flesh and organs are all pure nano machines! Their strength even stronger than Altered ones but their minds became corrupted and with power, comes greed. Hence, another war between The altered Ones and Mechanoids broke out eventually dividing the entire planet into two continents ; Origin Continent and Cyborgenic Continent. On Origin Continent, Michael, a young teenager, lives in a slum, where he makes a living by producing and selling illegal substances. Despite his hard work, he struggles to make ends meet and dreams of a better life. Michael hears about a rare and powerful gene-editing nanobot being sold on the black market, which can grant incredible physical abilities to its host. Hopeful about becoming a Spliggen and escape the cruelty of the slums and the oppression from the High-born, Michael used his earnings of ten years, finally purchasing the gene-modifying nanobot, the trader gifting him a useless assistant nanobot. However, before he can use it, the nanobot is stolen by a rival gang in a violent confrontation!
Something extraordinary started taking place. His arm, starting from his shoulder, all the way to his amputated elbow started to squirm rapidly as though something was about to be born from within his arm.
It first started from the bones. Michael saw visibly as nanites merged together, forming a weird pattern.
Staring intently at the forming object, Michael saw it was his arm bone! His arm
Rhad been entirely shattered from the elbow joint down, making it non existence but the nanites actually managed to form and regenerate his missing arm bone!
Except for the fact that it wasn't entirely white and was instead silvery dark, it looked similar to his real arm bone.
As his arm bones continued to regenerate in mid air, it got to his wrist and Michael saw how his wrist, joints and finger bones started to from.
After which, muscles started to visibly form at a speed the naked eyes could track! They were, like fine threads of silk, being knotted by an invisible pair of hands, as they took their place.
They covered and clothed over the newly formed bones, creating the foundation for strength and movement. It looked a lot similar to real tissue, in fact it could be argued that they were real tissues as they regenerated.
Next came the tendons, slender and resilient, resembling the strings of a puppeteer guiding the puppet.
His tendons were like wire connectors as they stretched and intertwined, forming over the ready made muscles. Immediately it was completed, Michael willed his uncompleted arm to move and it actually moved up and down, in accordance to his wish. It truly was working.
Lastly, the vast and intricate network of blood vessels emerged, like tiny rivers and streams, weaving a complex pattern that not even Michael could understand.
They carried the warmth of existence, coursing through the arm with a gentle heat that signaled the return of vitality.
His nanites were rebuilding his cells his themselves, into the original genetic structure of his right arm, all the while integrating the blueprint of the arm cybernetic implant into them.
The processes burnt an incredible amount of biocell fuel as well as metal essence. But that wasn't what was on Michael's mind.
What occupied his mind was the extreme itch from the regeneration.
It was similar to the night he first got the Modifier. Even till now, it was still a scar in his heart because the process had been incredibly painful!
It wasn't just his amputated arm that was transforming, it was both arms. He could feel the bones in his intact arm growing even stronger and stronger as they tranformed into the arm cyberware blueprint he had imitated.
Although the pain was quite unbearable as though they were performing surgery on him without pain killers or anesthesia.
In the blink of an eye, flesh started generating right from his elbow, clothing his newly shaped arm in normal pale looking flesh.
Michael took in a deep breath as he retrained his shock. Normal grade nanite would never be able to regrow limbs, even a military grade one can only heal damaged tissues and save one from severe injuries as for complete regeneration of lost limbs, Michael had never even heard if it.
Hence, his shock. Touching the newly grown flesh, he pinchesld hard and tears instantly welled up in his eyes as he inhaled deeply in pain..
"It feels as though I never lost my arm and even stringer too." Clenching both fist, he punched hard at the metal take before him.
"BANG!
The metal table immediately shattered to pieces as it collapsed.
Michael couldn't help but grin as he checked his newly advanced status.

"My strength and reflex increased by 0.5 while physique only increased by 0.2." Michael was pretty satisfied with this.
For the past two months, he had been doing quiet a few exercises and whole they yielded results, increasing his strength, it wasn't by much.
Five sets of push ups gives about 0.001 which was so little Michael gave up this route because it was simply too difficult if he wanted a substantial change.
Though he gave up, the route, he still does a few push ups everyday. It was an addicting feeling increasing ones strength.
Recollecting how he got here, he couldn't help but remember the Captain of Neon city enforcer's department.
If it weren't for him absorbing the metal chains made of pure metal esscense that had used to lock him down, he would never have had the chance to utilize the Steel Esscense units to imitate the Sandevistan, increasing his speed to a level where he could react albeit barely from being killed by the strange youth in a single strike.
While he lost his hand, he still managed to keep his life.
A cold look flashed within Michael's pupils but then, he managed to calm himself. As they say, it's never too late for a man to take his revenge.
