Meeting the wanderer again

Alex didn't need to wait long as a couple days later the admiral came to fetch Zain and Alex to see the wanderer(male). The wyverian had apparently insisted on them coming with him to see whatever he had discovered. 'Did you tell him that I've changed a lot since the last time he saw me?' Alex asked the admiral who froze. "When was that again exactly?" the man asked with a bad feeling. 'A bit before the first siege of Zorah when we were following the elders tracks , so when I was about four months old.' Alex said giving the admiral a deadpan expression.-

"Oh shit , poor guy might have a heart attack when he sees you now , you weren't so badass then." Zain joked and the admiral looked nervous. "Maybe it would be best if you didn't come with us?" he suggested and both Zain and Alex glared at him for it so he could only surrender. Alex took both of the men onto his back where they complained about the static shock they got for touching him but were fine once firmly off the ground and on his back.-

It was a short flight to the spot where the wanderer was supposed to meet them and none of them saw him when they landed. "Odd , he isn't usually the sort to be late to a meeting like this." the admiral said with a worried expression. Alex used his heightened senses to figure out what was going on and chuckled. 'He's not late merely hiding in that tall grass over there.' he said pointing at the grass with a claw. "I suppose I should have expected you to notice me without any issue , what gave me away?" The wyverian asked curiously as he stood up out of the grass. 'The scent of plants was wrong where you were , moss doesn't grow in places covered by grass.' Alex said with a smirk.-

"Ah , I suppose that would indeed to the trick." The wanderer said with a thoughtful expression. 'That said I very much doubt any other monster would be able to sniff you out since they wouldn't realize what the problem was.' Alex said honestly. "Yes sapience does give you a distinct advantage in that regard. But I am most amazed at how much you have changed in the time since I last saw you , I honestly didn't recognize you on approach which is why I hid." The man explained honestly.-

Alex shrugged 'We actually talked about that before we came here. We had assumed that he had told you already , we were wrong.' he said while pointing at the admiral who looked embarrassed. "You'll have to forgive him for that , he always had a problem sharing everyday details when we met in the past as well." The wanderer said good naturedly. 'Yes well you would think mentioning that I now look like a disaster waiting to happen would be pretty high on his priorities but what do I know.' Alex said ribbing on the admiral a little more.-

"You aren't wrong , you do have a fearsome appearance and your aura is extremely overbearing despite the fact you are clearly suppressing it. Though the most concerning feature has to be this strange energy coating your body , I've never felt it's like before." The wanderer said seriously. 'That's probably the Tenshou if I had to guess.' Alex said calmly. "The power belonging to Shantien?" the man asked confused. Alex nodded 'Yeah , It's my most recent elemental power and it caused quite a lot of problems for me let me tell you.' Alex said with irritation.-

"I'm afraid you've lost me somewhere." The wanderer said honestly. 'Wow , he really short changed you didn't he?' Alex said while the admiral looked like he wanted the ground to swallow him to escape this embarrassing situation. 'No matter I suppose , to make a long story short my whole schtick as an elder dragon is apparently adaptation to things I'm exposed to and so I currently have the three elements that comprises Tenshou and they also naturally fused to give it to me.' Alex said and the wanderer looked stunned for a good five minutes as his mind raced at the possibilities.
