Dramatic change

This wasn't to say that he couldn't kill the elder but that in a direct match up he was not sofi jiiva's equal. To be fair though Alex was way more dangerous than the elder thanks to his withering power that was nigh unbeatable in terms of destructive power. Unfortunately Alex tried not to use it all that much for actual attacks since it completely ruins the surroundings. 'Looks like I'll need to unlock the ice element now anyway.' he thought before leaving astera and flying towards the origin island that would not be a problem if it was destroyed.-

The scholars were rather disappointed when they studied this place as there was not any real secrets here. This meant that the island was totally abandoned at the moment making it perfect for Alex. Landing in the area that they fought shara Alex couldn't help but grit his teeth angrily as he remembered how the scholars took the corpse of the elder and left him absolutely nothing. Even worse was that no other member of the species had been found so whatever traits he could have gotten remained a mystery. That was honestly one of the reasons he had left astera for his everstream trip.-

He was pretty close to turning murderous and decided that it would be better to leave so he could cool his temper down. Shaking his head to chase away these thoughts Alex opened the system and unlocked the [cryosis] trait. Immediately he felt this new type of energy form within his body and begin to clash with the thunder energies. The clash wasn't that bad since now that he had every element the opposing ones kept everything in a perfect balance. The real problem came after that when all of his elements started to fuse into his dragon element.-

The energy created by this fusion was far far greater than the sum of it's parts as Alex could feel his body creaking and straining to contain this new power. At the same time the [sublimation] trait also ticked up to one hundred as his body began to shift and change. Every cell in his body went through earth shattering transformations as he started to grow larger and larger while a dense sphere of swirling energy encompassed his position. The sky turned dark and stormy all over the new world and the ground shook as these rampant energies reached the everstream.-

After nearly an hour the energies receded and Alex collapsed onto the ground with a much different appearance than before. He was now nearly twice as large as before with long dense scales that shimmered with every color imaginable covering his whole body. His body had bulked up considerably as thick bands of muscle were visible under his scales and yet he was still proportional and streamlined. His wings had grow even larger and now had thick sharp bladed edges as well as two crescent moon looking red patterns next to the star shaped ones.-

His tail however was now covered in thick scales while the spike at the end had split into three spikes like a trident. The horns on his head had changed drastically as they now grew against his eyebrow ridge before curving and rising over his forehead like a spiked crown. Despite not falling unconscious throughout this entire process Alex was disoriented from the changes in his body. It didn't help that he was incredibly weakened from how much energy this process had taken from him. 'Looks like I'm staying the night here for the night.' he thought with a sigh and dragged his weary body over to an rocky alcove to sleep.-

There was no slow descent into slumber for Alex as the moment he relaxed and closed his eyes he was out cold. What he didn't realize as a result was that all around him the earth was rapidly being covered in green moss that rapidly grew reproduced and died. The moss slowly changed into more complex things like vines in the short span of the rest of the day and night. This was a result of his elder dragon aspect having finally reached it's full potential allowing it to cause rapid evolution in his surroundings.
