The Start Of The Trial

The day came and Darren don't know what to feel particularly. There's the calm hammer in his chest and a slight boom inside his mind and the corners of his wide bedroom felt small.

He can breathe and he also cannot. He can feel but he also cannot. There's fear but there's also courage. He blinked at the ceiling before slowly sitting up, it's still early. He can see that the sun still hasn't shine yet and he's very much awake.

He doesn't know what Hugo had prepared for today. He didn't tell it to him verbatim, he didn't even tell him if he managed to meet the board members and he's very much concerned especially because he acted angrily when he had threatened him and he didn't have other conversation with him afterwards.

He stood up and brushed his teeth before deciding to go downstairs and try to drink some coffee to fully wake his nerves and presence of the mind. He needs to be as focused as possible.
