"Where do you sleep?" Lily inquired, which have been happening for the past few hours. A relentless interrogation which Tim have been handling with such finesse and shameless smirks and winks.
"Living room" Tim answered with a small smile.
"Do you go upstairs?"
"Yes, whenever I call him for meals"
Darren frowned and sighed, trying to reign in annoyance because of Lily's disregard for the boring time. How long has been this going? One? Two? No. This has been going for four hours! Four full hours and Lily's still asking questions after questions.
"Do you clean?"
"I'm the only one who clean"
Darren eyed the two fiercely. They've been ignoring his presence for the sake of their talk and Darren is bored out of his mind. Can't they do something productive like him ordering Tim around? And Lily to get back to her business?
"What do you do when Ren's taking a bath?"
What the hell is that question?!
"Stay here, cook, exercise, or probably still sleeping" Tim answered smoothly, not even looking startled by the sudden shift from does he clean to what he does when Darren is taking a bath.
"And where do you exercise?" Lily raised an eyebrow.
Darren clenched his jaw and crossed his arms. Trying to catch their attention because how dare them forget his existence? Hello, he should always have the spotlight and it should always be his.
"I jog outside and sometimes work out there too or there are times in the patio. Or in the living room early in the morning before Darren wakes up so he wouldn't be distracted of how sexy I am"
Finally, Tim turned and winked at him with a drool worthy grin. This flirty git is nowhere near other men's pathetic style who had tried to impress Darren but only ended up embarrassing themselves.
But processing what he had just said, "You're not sexy" he paused, "I am" he immediately added.
Tim wiggled his eyebrows and chuckled, "'Course you are cutie"
"That's it." Lily stood up and walked over Tim's spot.
"Stand up and leave" Lily pointed towards the way out and glared at him.
"What the fuck did I do?" Tim asked sounding clueless.
Lily grabbed his wrist and tried so hard to pull him up, "Leave. I need you to leave! Do not live here!"
Darren blinked. He's not sure he can understand the sudden shift of Lily's mood. One second they act like they've been besties for their whole life then the next second, she's making him leave?
And besides, it's not like Darren would like him to leave. He's his slave! He still have a lot to do!
"Lily, he's my slave! You can't just order him when it should be me doing that!" Darren butted in.
Lily sighed and looked at him, "He needs to leave, Darren Chu. There are a lot of things needed to be fixed and settled. He's distracting you to focus"
She gave him one final glare that silently ushered him to contradict her point. It will be futile because she's got all the truest points in the world and Darren hates it when she's right.
She's always right. Pity he cannot give her an uppercut whenever she's struck a nerve as to get back. Petty but that's worth witnessing, right? (Of course he's right. Darren is also always right. Ha! Take that Lils!)
"I also have a fucking thing to accomplish. I thought I made myself fucking clear. I still have to take him on a date" Tim stared adorably and pouted his lips a little.
Darren looked away. He realized it's hard to say no to that face. It'll curse you for sure.
"Tell me, what made you want to take him on a date? You're a stranger Mr. I'm sure you don't even know what his favorite flower is" Lily raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms.
Tim didn't answer and Darren nearly lunged forward because why didn't he answer?! He's great!
He turned back to him with a frown only for it to soften with confusion when he saw Tim already looking at him with a smile. With that gorgeous smile that distracts him.
And why is he smiling like a lunatic?
"Miss Lily, I may not know what his favorite flower is but I know some things" He paused and sent a wink at his spot which never fails to bring out a blush in his face.
"Some things that may get easily ignored by others. I don't see an offensive mouth. I don't see an ill-mannered human. . . okay maybe a little bit but I also see the cutie I met, I see the stunning person that he is."
He glared at that judgement before those glorious descriptions. Yes, don't be shy. Tim really should add some more to feed Darren's conceitedness because it feels so good to be complimented.
"I love how he's unconsciously so kind and so giving. He hides it by nagging but he lets me do things I want to do and lets me poke around and wouldn't laugh at me because I don't know how to use a fucking washer. I fucking love how serious his face gets when he's thinking and how true he is with his words"
"He doesn't hide himself behind false masks. He's not afraid to speak his mind and would not bother to sugarcoat his words. I love how fluent he is with his sarcasm and how fun he is to be with without him even realizing."
Darren was left speechless. He was expecting compliments of how he looks but what he heard was a sudden turn of events.
"The way he'll blush when I wink and the way he wouldn't even be ashamed of openly checking me out but would deny it when called out. The way he'll roll his eyes which in my perspective look rather fond. The way he won't back down of a challenge and so easy to approach, a single date would not suffice"
Even though it sounded a little off, Darren found himself appreciating it.
"Do you know how cute he gets when he's flustered? Really goddamn cute." he chuckled and shrugged. "I don't know about you Miss but I'm not taking him on a date for favorite flowers and colors and shit. But it's because I would like to see how his eyes will probably light up and how he will criticize the venue and how he will spend that moment with me. I wanna take him on a fucking gorgeous date because he's worth it. Hell he deserves more than just a date"
Darren felt a lump in his throat at that. What should he say in situations like this? Of course his brain would not function.
He just realized that he was wrong. For he was indeed checking him out, just not the way Darren would expect.
For in his eyes, Tim is gorgeous, manly, hot and sexy and Darren would certainly not expect that he's cute, kind, true, giving, and deserving in Tim's eyes.
What an idiot.
"And besides, I also want to see the mole on his buttcheek"
An arsehole. That's what Tim is.
