54 The Bestfriend's Pining

"Come on, Lee! Didn't you check your car beforehand?" Lily wailed, her hands flailing to her sides as she stood in the middle of an impossibly deserted road.

There are two things she never believed in. Flat earthers and the second one is this. Lee's car ran out of gas in the middle of the road.

On their way towards Ren's house to witness why a Judge has to go to and why Atty. Elroy had to do that. She was aware and had long accepted Atty. Elroy's ways but it never occurred to her Lee-bombarded mind that he will be calling a judge to Ren's house.

A judge on Ren's house! Who can do that? No one. Probably just him. But enough of Atty. Elroy, she has to face this slightly comedic situation she found herself in. She's not complaining because this meant she got to spend more time with Lee alone. Quality time is a must and she will always favor to have one with Lee other than Ren, Timothee, or Atty. Elroy.
